The automation and ease of booking the monthly transactions reduced our time spent on leases each month by approximately 6 hours. Moving from an excel based process to NetLease has implemented automated controls in place and timeliness of monthly transactions, including reclass entries. The implementation team did a great job learning to our specific needs in terms of treating certain finance and operating leases, and made sure all of our concerns were answered, and the setup was done correctly. Although we have a smaller lease portfolio, the Company found NetLease was great in consolidating all of the information into one place. The reporting capabilities allow us to review the data in the format required for disclosure purposes and help support the calculations. The fact that NetLease was embedded in NetSuite was the most significant advantage for us compared to the other tools we had demos for implementing ASC 842. The ability of the system to account for the various modifications that can occur during the life of the lease adds an extra benefit with the business decisions being made. The efficient and robust implementation process and support team made the transition seamless. NetLease by NetGain addresses an important gap in NetSuite, namely ASC842 calculation and reporting. We faced a major challenge in this area when implementing NetSuite and when we asked Connor Group, our SI, for their advice, they suggested NetGain had the best offering. And they were right. A cool feature is that NetGain is so tightly integrated into NS that it really looks like just an extension of NS. On top of all that, the pricing is keen as mustard and NetGain prof services were great to work with not just in getting us set up but with occasional follow up questions. NetLease is native to NetSuite, meaning you don't need to login to a separate site. This feature is so valuable, as there is no other system to integrate.
