The ease of use for such a powerful tool is the most impressive thing about Netlease. Some of the individual features are the ability to modify leases as conditions or circumstances change, the reports are great for providing auditors and management the information they need, and the ability of Netlease to create all of the needed entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about NetLease by Netgain? In all honesty I have not found any thing about Netlease that I would be able to consider a dislike. What problems is NetLease by Netgain solving and how is that benefiting you? Netlease is solving the implementation of ASC 842. Even with very few leases the requirements of ASC 842 were significant and Netlease made them manageable. We went from demo to complete implementation in 10 calendar days. Incredible customer service from pre to post-implementation. The staff was very knowledgeable about the complexity of ASC 842 and general accounting. We had a great onboarding experience, and any issues were resolved quickly. The tool is easy to follow and links directly to Netsuite. Good experience and time saving. Overall, the implementation and use of this product have met our expectations, and our decision to select this product was good. Our NetLease implementation team that we worked with was accommodating and knowledgeable. It is glorious not to use Excel to track leases, lease amendments, and interest rates (our auditors also appreciate this). Before implementing NetLease, we manually reconciled our lease liabilities for 21 leases each month, which could take a half day for our staff. Now, we press one button and have most of the work done instantly. The team that helped with our implementation was incredible. What do you dislike about NetLease by Netgain? There isn't much to dislike! Our team is thrilled with the product, and any unique issues we faced were easy to resolve using their knowledge base. NetLease is so tightly integrated to NetSuite, it looks like it iS NetSuite. Creating new leases and posting the monthly amortization entries couldn't be easier. I wish the process of recording the CAM fees we pay as part of all our leases in the Lease Payment was as easily and quickly calculated as uplifts in the base rent. We have to add (and calculate, if variable) these amounts manually and on a 10-year lease, it can get a little lengthy but this is a pretty small inconvenience in the grand scheme. I understand ASC842 but didn't really comprehend the volume and complexity of the calculations until I came to understand the calculations that NetLease was doing for us. The number of operating leases we have has tripled year over year with no plans to slow down and doing this ourselves would absolutely not have been sustainable.
