NetDoc is self-hosted IT documentation for small and mid-sized businesses. Devices and racks, VLANs and IP addresses, Wi-Fi networks and the complete cabling path from switch port to patch panel to wall outlet to end device are documented in one place and traceable with one click. Floor plans show where every outlet, access point and printer is; QR labels lead from the device straight to its documentation. NetDoc also covers software licenses, contracts with notice periods, SSL certificates and domains with e-mail reminders, an encrypted password vault, a knowledge base with checklists, device handover to employees and an IT emergency handbook generated as PDF. It installs in minutes with Docker Compose and a browser setup wizard, imports existing lists and patch lists from CSV/Excel, and includes two-factor login, Active Directory/LDAP and Microsoft login, granular permissions, an audit log, built-in backup/restore and a REST API. Licensing is a one-time payment based on the number of devices, with all features and unlimited users in every tier and no subscription; NetDoc is free up to 25 devices. Available in German and English.
