Netdata AI can also run capacity planning, performance optimization, SLA audits and so much more. Netdata connects to other tools (such as GitHub, PagerDuty, Jira, Confluence and more) you use to bring in relevant context to make the AI investigations more functional and accurate. MCP servers on every Netdata Agent and in Netdata Cloud also let any AI assistant, such as Claude, Cursor or VS Code, query the live infrastructure directly. Netdata collects per-second metrics through 800+ integrations and works natively with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, StatsD and Nagios. Digital Experience Monitoring shows what users actually experience: Real User Monitoring (RUM) tracks Core Web Vitals, JavaScript errors and sessions from real visitors, and synthetic journeys and Lighthouse audits test critical user flows on a schedule. OpenTelemetry-native distributed tracing adds a traces explorer with waterfall views and on-demand rate, error and latency analysis for any slice of traffic. Trace context links each user interaction in the browser to the backend services that handled it. Logs can be queried where they already live on each system, or collected centrally through an OpenTelemetry pipeline. For network performance monitoring, Netdata monitors any SNMP device with zero configuration and includes dedicated profiles for 1,700+ device models. It analyzes NetFlow, IPFIX and sFlow traffic, decodes SNMP traps, and tracks BGP. It also maps L2/L3 network topology and application dependencies, showing how processes communicate across systems without any instrumentation. Network data shares the same dashboards and timeline as the servers, containers and applications running over the network. Netdata's distributed architecture processes data at the edge, where it's generated. That keeps per-second detail affordable, catches short-lived issues that traditional tools miss, and keeps the data on your own infrastructure.
