Great DMS Timecard Integration, But State Tax Reporting Accuracy Still Needs Work **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026 **What do you like best about Netchex?** Timecard integration with our DMS for running technician productivity reports. Recent expansion of service hours to serve my time zone. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Challenges with the accuracy of state tax reporting. Finger-pointing between Netchex and Dealertrack when there are integration issues, which leaves us stuck trying to resolve the issues on our own. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Recent improvements include allowing employees to request timecard adjustments within their timecard for managers to approve, improving compliance and saving time. Working on programming that will allow us to determine which employees may use the app vs a computer to clock in and out using the app, which will help us better manage employee time and overtime. Position attributes, which, when we get it fully implemented, will save time in setting up new hires and transfers and increase accuracy of the required data for each position. ### 2. When there are bugs, you do not hear back from anyone and months can go by. System does not identify minors, would be helpful if it flagged employees that are minors. End of year tax delivery methods should be included in the onboarding process. It is costly to mail tax forms when MOST get returned, THEY should be delivered electronically or at least include the question in the onboarding process. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onboarding, Payroll, Taxes ### 4. Overall a basic system to learn **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025 **What do you like best about Netchex?** I have used many systems such as ADP, PeopleSoft, SAP and felt Netchex for the most part is intuitive. However, some things are harder to learn/understand the logic than the other systems. I do like how there are preset reports in Netchex that make is easy to run reports at times. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** I liked how other systems had more of a workflow to ensure all fields that need to be completed are completed, for example when hiring in an employee. I felt there were many places that I had to go in Netchex to make sure a person was set up and those are easy to miss. I realize Netchex is more of a payroll system than HRIS therefore, it may not do all that I would like it to do and flow easier. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Setting up our backend benefits. I do like how there is support however, I do not like how their time is limited on their help especially if we are on a call. ### 5.
