What do you like best about NetBeans?

Netbeans is really good Integrated Development Environment for development of various projects. It supports a lot of languages like Java, PHP, Scala, C, C++ and many more. There is also a feature where you can add additional development plugins like development SDK for android and many more. The code highliting, code completion, code reformatting, code refactoring suggestions are the best parts of Netbeans I like much. Overall I highly like Netbeans for development and highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

Well there are not the things I can think of which I dislike. But I think that the Integrated Development Environment is little bit heavy and it takes time to load. Also it consumes little bit more memory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable Open Source IDE"
5/5
What do you like best about NetBeans?

Firstly I love that NetBeans is free. This IDE is also very stable and reliable for web and even desktop development. I mainly use it for Java web development using Maven, and it has never let me down. I like how quick it is to create REST web services from the database or java classes. NetBeans also has a large community of users which is great for support related issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

At times the IDE loses mappings of entity classes to the database, and you have to edit these files for the mappings to get picked up again. A UI-based Google App Engine deployment plugin would also be excellent instead of editing the pom.xml every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to handle your projects with NetBeans"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetBeans?

The best part is it is available for mac, windows and Linux, so anyone can use its function. Easy user compatibility functions and easy project handling with advanced plugin options. It supports 28 languages, so one IDE and 28 languages, it is the advantage of this IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetBeans?

The most common problem I think all faces is its slow execution speed. They give lots of updates in few days, which is quite irritating, showing that NetBeans is under process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
