What do you dislike about NetBeans? some libraries or components for the use of some codes or integrate to netbeans are payments or difficult to get for web development does not have a design environment of view as it has programming in java. sometimes it gets very slow when it comes to running some program.although its version is free some add-ons like libraries are payments since they are made by third parties. For me, my netbeans is my daily work tool since I dedicate myself to teaching programming in a higher education institution and it has been my trade for more than 20 years. I have been using netbeans for more than 10 years and I do not change it for any IDE. It is very versatile, it helps me a lot with code errors, it always works and it's free. Netbeans has great debugging tools, which works very well for java programs. I like that it's not as bloated as Eclipse and that it's a relatively simpler IDE to use. However, some may find it slower compared to other IDEs. Overall, it is a solid choice for developers looking for a comprehensive and versatile development tool." 4.5/5 What do you like best about NetBeans? In particular, I like NetBeans since I am a Java and PHP programmer. I have to make and revise code in these two programming languages, and although I have tried other text editors, with NetBeans I have everything I need for both languages. This tool is very predictive of the languages that I use, and it is very extensible with a large number of plugins that have to be installed. Despite having so many qualities, it is very simple to install, and all this comes out totally free. You do not have to pay a license to use it commercially, and no annoying advertising appears on NetBeans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about NetBeans? I dislike NetBeans because as you add new plugins, the performance noticeably slows down, especially with large projects containing many files and lines of code. It takes too long to launch the application, and sometimes it even hangs, forcing me to restart it. This isn't too serious, but it annoys me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering NetBeans: if you are a person who wants a text editor for the Java language, NetBeans is the best you can install to carry out your projects in this programming language. It is complete, easy, with a good interface, and it is completely free. I use NetBeans mainly to work with Java, and it is a good option for PHP, although there may be better options for this last language. However, one of the best benefits it gives me is that it is excellent for integration with third-party software like GIT, and this is a great benefit, especially for updating code collaboratively.
