**What do you like best about NetApp E-Series?**

Deduplication, highly redundant, flash options.

**What do you dislike about NetApp E-Series?**

Management requires alot of administrative overhead,software upgrades are complicated, there is alot of wasted disk capacity in the disk groups/aggregates/volumes/LUNs architecture.

**Recommendations to others considering NetApp E-Series:**

Reveiw the administrative overhead and loss of storage capacity due to the storage architecture. There are other platforms that are much improved from this older model.

**What problems is NetApp E-Series solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an enterprise storage platform that has been used for hosting application in a vritual machine environment. It has been used as primary storage, but at the moment it is more of a secondary storage because of poor performance and high management cost.
