"Very wise business decision"
5/5
What do you like best about Nestor?

I think the best part of implementing and using Nestor throughout the company is the positive change and how it impacted our mindset. This is a huge win. We started with Goals and Performance Reviews then expanded into 360-Feedback and Employee Growth Plans. It's very user-friendly and very easy to use and configure. Their customer support is also top-notch. Ever since, it's been an invaluable tool for our Leadership teams to understand where our people are at, and how we can help them grow and prepare them to take on higher responsibilities within the company. But it also influenced our employee's attitudes. We managed to create a stronger bond between managers and their direct reports, increase collaboration, and show each person how their work contributes to the company’s strategic direction. The skills-based development framework can serve multiple purposes and keep people engaged toward their development goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nestor is a great platform to enhance people skills and track performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Nestor?

One great thing about Nestor is that they are pushing for new functionalities and improvements every month. We started to use the platform to have a structured framework for defining and tracking employee goals that help us reach our business strategy. In the second phase, it was very important for us, as an organization, to identify the areas where our people need to further develop their capabilities. As the platform covers the much-needed skills management process, we moved into assigning skills to each direct report and assessing them twice a year during performance reviews. What do you dislike about Nestor?

I like Nestor. I've sent a few feature requests to the team like adding priorities to goals and the two way calendar synchronization and I've been surprised to see that they already added them to their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A must-have tool for any HR department that wants to bring a transformative change in the company"
5/5
What do you like best about Nestor?

The thing that I love the most about Nestor is how it gives us transparency and a granular view of employees' skills, and work activities and reveals their hidden potential. For me as an HR, implementing Nestor has been a huge relief in terms of managing performance reviews and also in identifying and tracking the evolution of skills and employee development. It helped me save time and create a bridge between employees, managers, and the HR department. The admin part is easy to use and you get insights about meaningful employee statistics like top performers, skills distribution and gaps, or notifications that keep you on track with your tasks and make your life easier. Also, the platform comes with clear user permissions and the support is just awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform that helped us structure performance and skills assessment in a fair transparent way"
5/5
What do you like best about Nestor?

By helping us easily create, share, and track objectives, Nestor helped us transform our work culture, and increase accountability and motivation. We were amazed about how flexible the tool is in defining the multiple goals and metrics we want to reach. The team was fantastically helpful in all aspects starting with rapid deployment and onboarding so very soon we fell in love with the rest of the platform also: performance reviews and employee development.

At this moment, our organization gets alignment about performance expectations while managers and HR can easily assess employee competencies and make recommendations for improvement. Moreover, each employee can now take a skill self-assessment before joining a review talk, which contributed a lot to increased engagement and platform adoption. What do you dislike about Nestor?

At the beginning, we anticipated a certain setback from the employees but it wasn’t the case. The Nestor team was especially helpful in this direction by providing us with consistent guidance, internal workshops during the onboarding stage, and quick solutions for any of our requests. We finally found a software so close to our unautomized process, that we didn't change anything to it, just moved it into the platform.

It was easy to integrate and easy to use by our teammates.

Raluca is very responsive and supportive anytime and for any issue we are facing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A solution that exceeded my expectations"
5/5
What do you like best about Nestor?

The part I like most about Nestor is the Employee Skills Profile functionality. It's easy to use and fill. It helps me easily visualize the required skills for my job role and also highlights gaps. I can also select my future desired position within the company and identify what skills I am missing to make an advancement. I love that this is an employee-driven tool that helps me map out my career plans, and discover new skills I should work and develop. It gives me the sense that I can make a choice when it comes to my career trajectory and I can see all the available options I might pursue. Then I can make plans for development with my manager and monitor the progress I’ve made over time.

I like the integration with our communication channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nestor?

No downsides that I've found so far. I find Nestor an intuitive tool, with a rich interface and insighful reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
