Provide initial free deployed SQL database with quick access times, paid version also gives a lot more storage. Their platform is managing the database deployments themselves which provides reassurance of the services availability, and I as the user don't have to worry about self-hosting. By using Neon in our projects, we've been able to get up and running in record time. Their documentation is easy to understand, and they have multiple examples to get you up to speed really fast.
