"Intuitive Layout and Accessible Support for Nonprofits"
4/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

Neon is a nice product for nonprofits that don't need a lot of customization. The layout is fairly intuitive and the support is easily available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The volunteer module needs some more sophisticated reporting. We could use some more visibility for our lead volunteers without making them Neon users. So the lack of share-able reports is a drawback Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

It’s wonderful to hear that our intuitive layout and volunteer tools are saving your team time and making project management a breeze! We appreciate the specific feedback on volunteer reporting and directory search filters, as these insights help us refine our platform. We’re committed to making your experience even better as you build the personal connections that drive growth.

What do you like best about Neon CRM?

I appreciate having all the data in one place along with a program that can generate automatic letters, emails, campaigns and numerous reports, self created reports, and manage events with registration in a simple format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

Creating a new event or campaign is sometimes is a bit confusing. I could use more training in these areas as well as more practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

Thanks for the review! It is great to hear that having your data, automated emails, and reporting in one place is working well for you. We appreciate your dedication during the initial setup, and we are continuously working to improve our training resources to make getting started as simple as possible.

"Feature-Rich Platform — More Than Just Donor Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

So many different functionalities. Much more than just a donor management system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The form builder, registration setup, and email/letter templates are clunky and difficult to format exactly how I would prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marketing Admin of Neon CRM

We are delighted to hear that you are loving our diverse functionalities and that Neon CRM is helping you in so many ways. We also completely understand how frustrating it can be when form builders, registrations, and templates feel clunky to format. I use Neon CRM for ticket sales and customer relationships, and I particularly love how quick and easy it is for general admission events. It's great that it holds all of our customers' information, including ticket purchases, donations, and memberships. I really appreciate the ease of looking up customer data and how well the donor management works. Also, the initial setup of Neon CRM was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Expensive "
2.5/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

There have been many new features to the system however, for our small nonprofit, it’s almost too many bells and whistles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

So many news features have rolled out. It’s hard to keep up with all of the changes. And it’s hard in the nonprofit world to continue to train people as volunteers turn over quite often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

Hi there! It’s great to hear that having your emails, event invites, and flyers all in one place is helping your organization save time and focus more on your mission.

We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the learning curve for volunteers; we know that high turnover makes training a constant challenge. We are committed to making our features more intuitive so your team can use exactly what they need without feeling overwhelmed.

"Automated Workflows Shine Despite Setup Challenges"
4/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

I like the automated workflows in Neon CRM. I can set up auto triggers for very specific actions or conditions. The ability to send personalized birthday emails automatically to anyone in the database who shares their birthday is something I find really useful. I can include personalized details based on the person's account. Additionally, I appreciate the new donor welcome series that automatically sends a set of emails in a timeframe I laid out to new donors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The platform does so much and gets regular updates that it's hard to keep up and best utilize the functions. But one specific detail I'd like improved is when using the 'preferred name' token on an email, if a preferred name is not included the email will show a blank space. I wish the constituent first name was the backup instead of a blank space. Not easy setup and, again from what I understand, the team did not understand the full platform so it was not set up best for what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

Thank you for sharing your feedback! It is great to hear that our automated workflows and birthday emails are helping you simplify communication and engage your donors effectively. We also appreciate your specific suggestion regarding the "preferred name" token logic and have shared this with our product team.

"Outstanding Customer Service Makes All the Difference"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

I think the best thing about Neon CRM (ArtsPeople specifically) is the customer service. When I have a question or need them to set our ticket prices, the response is always prompt. They are polite and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

There are a few minor things that annoy me when using ArtsPeople but they are always working on improving or implementing new features which are helpful. I don't like the editor for creating copy about shows and tickets and for sending emails to patrons. It can be frustrating that I don't have any control over setting ticket prices but I completely understand why that is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that our customer service stands out for being prompt and helpful, making all the difference for you! It's great to know that the recent update to make ticket scanning easier for your volunteers has also been a benefit. We appreciate your honest feedback on the editor and pricing control—we are constantly working to improve and are always looking for ways to make the user experience smoother.

"Automation That Saves Time for Small Teams"
4/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

I truly appreciate the opportunity to have a lot of options automated, saving our small team a lot of time from having to do some repetitiveness or spend a lot of time doing tasks that can easily be automated by the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

I think the reporting right now is hard for us. We are use to having something that is a bit more customizable and trying to run reports in a custom way that we track donations, event registrations, and memberships as part of our donation levels would be ideal and right now we are having a hard time doing that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

Thank you for your review! We are thrilled to hear that our automation features are saving your small team time by reducing repetitive tasks. We also hear your feedback regarding reporting customization; the good news is that our upcoming redesign is bringing a completely new Report Builder with expanded criteria and columns to help you track donations, events, and memberships exactly the way you need to. We are confident that these improvements will make it easier to get the data you need so you can quickly take action, allowing you to do things like easily drag-and-drop report criteria and columns, and even send emails or text messages to constituents in a report results in one click.

"User-Friendly Interface, Solid Integrations, and Flexible Reporting"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

Very user friendly and easy to learn interface. Decent number of integrations like QuickBooks and MailChimp. Also love the range of reporting options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The form functionality is limited from what I'm used to. Occasional slow performance can happen as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marketing Admin of Neon CRM

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We are thrilled to hear that our user-friendly interface, robust reporting options, and integrations with tools like QuickBooks and Mailchimp are supporting your arts nonprofit's mission. "All-in-One Donor Tools, but Reporting and Imports Need Work"
3/5
What do you like best about Neon CRM?

I like that Neon CRM offers many services within the same platform: donor tracking, letters, and emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Neon CRM?

The reporting is difficult and non-intuitive. Many standard reports, like who has donated year over year for five years, are very difficult to pull. Imports are also sloppy and many duplicates get created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nick Zmudzinski of Neon CRM

We love to hear that our letter and email tools are a core part of your daily part of how you manage relationships with your donors. We're committed to making it easier to get the data you need to answer critical questions about your donors' giving history and more, so we appreciate your feedback about the reporting hurdles—it helps us know what's most important to improve!
