What I like best about NEOGOV is the versatility of the software. We currently use it for our hiring and employee management. It allows our interview panels that constantly switch to have access to all peoples applying for different positions. The access is easily turned on and off. It is also great because it keep an employees evaluations in a location so they are able to access them and refer back to them. It also shows you were in the process they are at. It can let you create reports form it too on the employee. It will give you a plan if they have some areas they need to work on as well. What I just had it used for was evaluations and makes it so easy. The form is already in the system just have to fill it in. Can have the employee sign it and even create a goals and action plan so they can achieve these goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The ease of use. This has been an excellent applicant tracking system. I love the ability to customize the supplemental questions to each position we post. This allows us to set up a scoring plan that screens for minimum qualifications as well as add additional points to desired qualifications. You can add multiple steps in your exam plan to fully document your recruitment process. The report builder is excellent for pulling customized reports to measure specific data. Currently you have to set up two different sets of notifications one for the Insight side and one for the OHC side. There are often times I may need a notice that is only set up in one or the other and I have to go back and create a new one. The program allows us to perform the initial review of applications to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications and provide access to all hiring manager to review applications. It is definitely designed for governments and it is handy when you are doing national recruitments as it is likely that potential candidates have used NeoGov before and know the system.
