Neo.Tax uses AI to automate the R&D tax credit process by connecting to a company’s project management and financial systems to generate accurate, audit-ready claims. It also supports software capitalization, enabling teams to streamline two time-consuming processes using the same underlying data. Neo.Tax cuts R&D credit prep time by up to 95% by eliminating surveys and interviews, while improving accuracy and ensuring compliance with evolving IRS standards. The company was founded by a former IRS agent, a Stanford PhD in machine learning, and a former Intuit product lead. It’s used by startups through enterprise companies to simplify R&D tax compliance.
