**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that Nectar is easy to use. Its an efficient way to acknowledge people within the organization for those times when they go above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Its possible this is a company issue, not an issue with Nectar, however I wish there was a way to view my coworkers to see how often they have been recognized. I like to give recognition to those that don't often receive it, however I have not found an easy way to identify this. My understanding is a supervisor or manager has this access, however only for their team. And the team members do not have this same information.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping by making a one stop place to recognize others. This can also be fun to review recent recognition of others.

It's definitely a moral booster! We are always helping each other, so being able to thank coworkers with rewards is awesome.

I have not had any issues with Nectar so far.

Although there are no problems to be solved what it does is bring our teams of teachers closer together and creates incentive to work together as well.

I love that we can use a variety of GIFs, hashtags, and words to show each other appreciation. I also love that we can cash out our rewards for gift cards.

I can't think of a downside. Everything I've seen and used has been great!

I like the ability to send shout outs to my team and send tangible rewards for work and services within my organization. The site layout and integration into Teams is super clean. Really easy to use and navigate.

So far, I have not come across anything I would label as negative.

Within my organization, this software platform allows everyone throughout out the company to feel connected. I think the biggest benefit comes from the inclusivity and sense of belonging among our piers and coworkers.

I love the simplicity of recognizing coworkers. If they have just assisted with a customer service issue I can quickly login and send a shoutout without having to fill in multiple questions and it taking too much time out of my day.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only downside I've found is running out of points to give before the end of the month. A good downside to have.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps me to recognize coworkers that I otherwise would not. I get busy with my day and would forget by the end or put it off until I had run out of time to send any kind of reward or message to a coworker. Nectar lets me easily send someone, even someone across the state, a quick shoutout so not only do they know how much I appreciate them, but the rest of our organization can see the appreciation for them as well.

The down side in my opinion is that many participants give points to their friends only , bypassing the real goal of the Nectar program .

Since Nectar appears not to be used by all employees included management it's effect on encouraging employees to give it them all is probably minimal .

It is readily available within your email and sends status reminders to encourage its use. There is also an incentive plan to reward users for connecting with their coworkers. The shoutout options are easy to add emojis, gifs and other things to make the communications fun.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The number of "points" that are in a person's bank to give to coworkers does not encourage daily use as the points balance runs out quickly. It would be great to have some sort of reward for just sending shoutouts on a frequent basis. It seems people think they must give out points to communicate through Nectar. It would get more use if it could send out a weekly reminder of people having birthdays, work anniversaries, or births, etc. I believe more people would send shoutouts and would get to know their fellow employees better if that existed. to

It is helping me to stay in touch with employees and recognize them when they have something new going on.

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is intuitive to use, prompts affirmation and engagement, and allows me to celebrate wins and connection--big and small! I love getting Nectar shout-outs and giving them, and scrolling through to see how other teams and departments are doing. The gifs, emojis, and opportunities to provide written descriptions while connected with our mission, vision, and values makes it authentic and connected to my daily work. I also like that it's private to our organization and has no ads. We add challenges that are specific to our workplace culture and year, and the real-world rewards are exciting!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes I would like to give a shout-out that isn't tied to one of our values or that doesn't have points. I would also like it to be easier to upload photographs as part of a shout-out. For example, when we have events that are wins, it would be cool to add them instead of using the pre-loaded image choices.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization is fully remote and we live across the US. Nectar allows us to have joyful connection to affirm and celebrate each other. I can also see the wins from other departments, which helps me understand other projects and successes. The real-world rewards are a nice perk. I also like that the affirmations are connected to our mission, vision, and values-- which helps build institutional understanding of our key priorities. Finally, we often add challenges that relate to things that are traditions (like gathering socks for those in need) which allow everyone to participate, no matter where they are.

I love that Tri County Tech has started using Nectar. I love recognizing people who have gone above and beyond to help me on a project or for just being a listening ear. I enjoy the challenges our company puts on there to motivate us to relax, save money, or help find students or educators. Then, on top of all that, being able to cash points in or gift cards.

I haven't found anything yet that I dislike Nectar.

It has helped me to go on vacation by saving up my points and cashing them in for an Airbnb gift card. It has also helped me buy Christmas by cashing in points or using an Amazon cart.

I don't dislike it at all.  It is a great encouragement.

Knowing what the other educators in my district are doing in a positive light. It helps me stay in the know.  I also see that Dr. M encourages us all to become a part of the Nectar community. This let me know that he is interested in promoting a positive environment.

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how easy it is to recognize and celebrate coworkers across the entire company. Whether they’re in the same department or a completely different office, I can send a shoutout . I love that there’s no restriction on who you can recognize—it helps build a positive, connected culture even when teams are spread out.

I also really like that you can personalize the message and even tie it to company values, which makes the recognition feel more meaningful. It’s a great way to give credit where it’s due, and make people feel seen and appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only downside is that redeemed points are taxed and reflected as a deduction in your paycheck. It’s understandable, but it does take away from the full reward value a bit.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the problem of recognizing employees across different departments and locations. In big or remote companies, it’s easy for hard work to go unnoticed. Nectar makes it easy to give shoutouts to anyone, no matter where they work.

It’s helped me feel more connected to coworkers in other offices and boosted morale. I find myself giving more recognition—and it feels great to get it, too.

Nectar makes it easy for employees to recognize each other directly through shoutouts tied to company values, allowing gratitude to be visible and meaningful across the organization. It is beneficial in boosting company morale.  Nectar can also be used to convey humor or congratulations.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There may be employees that forget about the points system, don’t know how to use it, or find limited value in the rewards available. The system may feel less impactful to some.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my department we use Nectar points to recognize our Top 3 Drivers each month and to recognize the Top 3 Drivers overall annually.  They all seem very appreciative.

I think the primary win is that you can reward collogues for the tremendous work they do, and call it out to the entire company, while also rewarding them for any hard work or accomplishments they do.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I currently haven't run into any issues or negatives about using Nectar, I would say it's a pretty balanced system, runs well, and has great rewards for high-performers or co-workers that have great achievements to be rewarded for.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the problem of finding an easy way to recognize greatness in your fellow coworkers for their hard work or amazing accomplishments they achieve; while also being able to pick and choose the exact reward for said hard work and accomplishments.

I like that I am able to see the recognition of employees across the district. It creates a culture that we are proud of our colleagues and it allows us to have potential resources to go to in the time of need based on what they are being recognised on. The platform is simple and easy to use and I believe there has been increased use among employees because everyone loves receiving compliments and rewards.

There is nothing that I dislike about Nectar. If I could offer any suggestions it would be maybe to include more retailers/providers that we can redeem from.

Nectar allows this community to find joy in a system that can sometimes be filled with a lot of negativity and toxicity.

Nectar offers an excellent platform for recognizing employees' contributions to the company's success, supporting wellness accountability, and providing a wide variety of reward options.

I have not had any issues with Nectar's platform and feel it performs exactly as I would have expected it to perform.

Nectar provides a streamlined solution where employees are able to certify company specific actions in order to receive 'reward credits' that can be used for merchandise and/or gift cards. It reduces the person to person interaction required to manage our wellness program and provides a fun way to call out other individuals for their contributions.

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love being able to highlight employees' good work in a way that is visible and impactful. Seeing colleges cheer each other on is motivating to our overall mission. Having those kudos amount to gift cards keeps employees excited to keep pressing on, and also it encourages them to be open with their coworkers on the way they are making a difference.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish you could give or lend points to other employees to share. I've had instances where someone wanted to give someone else a shout-out, but didn't have any left. I wish that I could have given them some of my unused points.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have a good way to celebrate work anniversaries, birthdays, or just overall life events. This gives our teams a unified space to send points to the special person!

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar has everything you need at your fingertips. You can select points, company values, emojis, and GIFs available for you to recognize your colleagues and peers. The clear and easy dashboard tells you how many points you have to redeem and how many points to give away.  The dashboard also shows our company’s value with a short description of the value. The rewards are companies and retailers that almost everyone would recognize along with the customized rewards can be company specific. The swag tab list company specific mugs, journals, and apparel.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't really know of drawbacks of Nectar.  My dislikes: I am being nitpicky here but I am not a huge fan of the green.

Nectar is helping with employee recognition and it seems the employees like the system.

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

When you want to show appreciation beyond a written or verbal compliment, it can be difficult to know what would be considered too much or too little.  The Nectar framework enables a company to establish norms for this, and so it really reduces the guesswork in a person's efforts to show appreciation to a colleague, even if they are in a different department that you may not be as familiar with.  By making it easier to show that appreciation, it makes it all the more likely that a company will keep a positive, encouraging culture.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There are times when I have to log into the web interface just to see the rest of a sentence from a shout-out.  If I already know that I won't need to do anything else after logging in, it would be nice if the email notification would include the entirety of the shout-out message.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar provides a more easily accessible and more consistent way to show appreciation among employees.

I like how you can give praise to your fellow coworkers for something you notice that is going above and beyond and giving people an incentive to be more of a team. Ive only been with Bland for over 3 months and this program has shown me how people notice others doing the hard work and always staying committed to the team and it shows when you get a shoutout for everyone to see that you are doing what is expected and then some.

Not really much downside just the way points might get distributed could make people thing that arent getting rewarded enough to as other people might be.

Just solving that me puting in extra effort does go noticed when I sometimes think it doesnt.

I really like to use Nectar, I think it is a great tool that helps us to feel recognized and more connected to each others. Nectar gives me a nice way to say thank you to a co worker and also helps me to not forget birthdays and work anniversaries. It is easy to use and the nectar points are easy to redeem too, it offers a lot of rewards options and you can choose the one that works better for you, once you redeem your points you will get your gift card code in your email within 1 or 2 minutes. I like the colors and the features Nectar has, is funny when I see how my coworkers make jokes using GIFs and emojis in their comments. I believe Nectar helps us to be a better team and every company should have it.

I believe there is nothing wrong with Nectar.

The limitations. Award limits are too strict and small incremental amounts aren't as meaningful. It would be more appropriate to limit the people you can reward per month based on who you've contributed to in previous months.

Nectar is an easy way to give recognition for achievements / performance.  It's nice to have the option to publicly or privately post your recognition.  For those publicly published, it's a great reminder of all the great work the organization is doing.  If I'm having a difficult day, I often login to Nectar and read the shout outs, and I'm quickly motivated by all of my awesome colleagues!  The reward options are plentiful!

I can't really think of anything that I don't like.  Truly is easy to use and great rewards are offered!

Nectar contributes to employee morale which ultimately leads to more productive staff.
Nectar is a one-stop reward shop.  I can conveniently recognize staff achievements and share them with the organization all at once.

There isn't a way to filter by name only department and points can run out quickly. Also could use more options for GIFs.

It is providing staff a way to recognize each other for the work and support that they do and provide to one another. I love nectar and it always feels good when you get a shoutout. It also allows me to bank up my nectar points and use them around the holidays when I need it most.

I like that you can show appreciation consistently in little moments with tangible awards. I like that I see reminders throughout my work in Slack/elsewhere to send notes of encouragement. The setup was quick, and logging in is also simple.

Nothing so far! I have not found anything I dislike about the app. I have not experienced customer support yet so can't say much about that part.

I like that it helps support engagement and appreciation with fellow employees. I feel like it provides a benefit in the remote work world to fill a gap when we can't see each other physically "at the water cooler" each day like we would if we were working in the same office space. This allows for public shoutouts that can help fill that empty space.

There is something a bit impersonal about thanking people through an app - but Nectar itself is easy to use. I do not like the leaderboard

I'm not sure it is solving any issues, but my coworkers do find it fun, and the challenges are nice. I do not like the leaderboard - that puts a competitive edge to using Nectar that I do not think is helpful.
