I like to give recognition to those that don't often receive it, however I have not found an easy way to identify this. My understanding is a supervisor or manager has this access, however only for their team. And the team members do not have this same information. **What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nectar is helping by making a one stop place to recognize others. It would be great to have some sort of reward for just sending shoutouts on a frequent basis. It seems people think they must give out points to communicate through Nectar. I've had instances where someone wanted to give someone else a shout-out, but didn't have any left. The rewards are companies and retailers that almost everyone would recognize along with the customized rewards can be company specific. The swag tab list company specific mugs, journals, and apparel. **What do you dislike about Nectar?** I don't really know of drawbacks of Nectar. My dislikes: I am being nitpicky here but I am not a huge fan of the green. **What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nectar is helping with employee recognition and it seems the employees like the system. ### 31. The Nectar framework enables a company to establish norms for this, and so it really reduces the guesswork in a person's efforts to show appreciation to a colleague, even if they are in a different department that you may not be as familiar with. By making it easier to show that appreciation, it makes it all the more likely that a company will keep a positive, encouraging culture. **What do you dislike about Nectar?** There are times when I have to log into the web interface just to see the rest of a sentence from a shout-out. If I already know that I won't need to do anything else after logging in, it would be nice if the email notification would include the entirety of the shout-out message. **What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nectar provides a more easily accessible and more consistent way to show appreciation among employees. ### 32.
