## Nectar Reviews
  ### 1. A Great Way to Celebrate Coworkers and Reinforce Company Values

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan W. | Loan Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really appreciate being able to celebrate my coworkers. I also love the different ways it lets us highlight our core values as a company.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing negative so far. I definitely enjoy it, and it definitely serves the purpose it’s meant to.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, it isn’t solving any problems for me. However, it is benefiting me by giving me a way to celebrate my team.

  ### 2. Customizable Recognition with Rewards for Everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren S. | Recruiting Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the way you can customize it for your company values and tag the departments or coworkers that you are recognizing. The points and variety of rewards available mean there is something for everyone! Makes it super easy to recognize team members in meaningful ways. Even the un-techy people on our team have been able to use it successfully.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I find it difficult to access notifications. I get an email someone has tagged me or commented on something but on Nectar itself it can be hard to find.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 100+ locations across four islands and this streamlines the employee recognition process in a way that traditional or corporate/physical site recognition could not

  ### 3. Finally a Reward I can use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deborah S. | On site Property Manager, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is a fun way to acknowledge the people you work with and their accomplishments or tell others the little things that they do not get to know about the day to day performances of those team members not close or in the same region as each other. Also lets the supervisors know how well their team members can work together and come up with solutions to a problem and recognition for going above and beyond what they are expected to. An easy way to earn points that can be tuned into a gift certificate or redeemed on amazon for various items. What employee doesn't like to feel appreciated.? This allows you to give the praise to those who have worked hard to meet a goal or to to improve on their skills they needed to improve . It also allows you to give shout outs to a new hire or retiring team member. I think that it is a great way to show the team that you see them and appreciate the efforts they are putting into the organization. quietly yet effectively, It is also nice that you can turn the points into something you want, not something that is given to you that you will end up regifting to the next person who has a birthday. Not something I would find rewarding if it were me. Just saying.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

they do not provide a full description of items you can get with your points. You have to go to amazon.com and look them up first if you must know the specific details. Otherwise you are simply making a decision because you wanted it and don't really care about the details anyway.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Closes a gap making it possible for everyone in the company to engage in congratulating others for a job well done. Also helps everyone to know what's going on in the other regions and divisions of the company. Makes them mor informed on what their company has going on as a whole and gives a better understanding of what we do as a company I get to know the members that I never see in person yet we can have a work relationship. I do not have to travel to do so .I get points for my performances and i can give to others. It helps me know that I am just one of many to makes a difference on a daily basis. That makes me happy and all is good in my world knowing that I am a part of a team and I am just as important to this company as they are. I get great rewards I pick for myself and I am the only one that can limit how often I am rewarded by working hard and continuing to do my job that I am already paid to do each payday but my bosses are generous and want us to know that we are appreciated not just here to make them money but to make us money and enjoy actually coming in to work daily. So its a win win kind of thing

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that it encourages positive feedback amongst coworkers. Because you're given a monthly allowance, you WANT to use them all and give them away to the people you appreciate. It is very easy to use. I like that it is like a twitter feed and you can see what other people are getting praised for.

**Reviewed by:** Mattie M. | Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like using Nectar because we have many challenges that are focused on wellness and physical fitness. During stressful times as a Dispatch Supervisor, having these wellness challenges helps to relieve that stress. Just getting in some extra steps or stretching at my desk awards points to my account so I can get some cool city swag. I love my 40oz hydroflask cups that help me achieve my water intake daily. The app makes it easy to use daily too.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's nothing that I really dislike about it. I think it is a great way for city employees to connect on a fun level and give points to each other back and forth.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 13. A Great Tool That Keeps Our Team Connected and Appreciated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raaj G. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how seamlessly it integrates recognition into our daily workflow. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and encourages genuine appreciation across teams. The ability to publicly recognize colleagues for their contributions—big or small—has really helped boost morale and reinforce a positive culture. It’s also great to see how it aligns with our company values and makes recognition feel meaningful rather than transactional.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While Nectar is a great platform for recognition, one area that could be improved is the customization of rewards and point structures. At times, it feels a bit limited in tailoring incentives to match our team’s unique culture or project milestones. Additionally, the reporting features could be more robust—having deeper analytics on usage trends and engagement would help us better understand its impact and optimize how we use it.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping solve one of the most common challenges in team environments—ensuring consistent and meaningful recognition. In fast-paced projects, it’s easy for appreciation to fall through the cracks. Nectar provides a structured yet flexible platform that makes it simple to recognize contributions in real time, across departments and roles.
For our team, this has translated into stronger morale, better collaboration, and a more engaged culture. It’s also helped leadership stay connected to the day-to-day wins happening on the ground, which is especially valuable in a construction environment where progress is often incremental but critical.

  ### 14. Simple, Intuitive, and Seamless Colleague Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff P. | Consultant, Technology & PM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is simple and intuitive. It makes it easy to reward your colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing. The process flows seamlessly from acquiring points to distributing them to cashing them in.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a project lead, it makes it so easy for me to provide meaningful rewards to the team.

  ### 15. So Many Reward Options to Spend Points On

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristine M. | Math Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like all the options I get to use my points on. Groceries, amazon, all kinds of clothing or restaurants.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

That it is only $1 for every 10 points. Sometimes it feels impossible to reach.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I did have enough points saved to get an amazon gift card that paid for my daughters entire Easter basket!

  ### 16. Effortless Recognition with Instant Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

How easy it is to recognize someone and how easy it is for someone to recognize you! The instant feedback when that happens too!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Giftcard redemption thresholds are too high. These rewards sometimes require too many points and therefore it takes a while to save enough for "good" rewards

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping to solve the culture of our organization. It benefits the organization because we work hard to earn those points and recognition!

  ### 17. An Easy, Meaningful Way to Recognize Colleagues—with Real Monetary Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna A. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is an easy way to feel valued and to make colleagues feel valued, and I especially love that the points have monetary value.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Honestly, I can't think of anything at this time.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an online employee, it can be hard to feel seen or valued, but receiving Nectar points always helps, especially when those points mean money.

  ### 18. Empowering Team Recognition with Seamless Endorsements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kai W. | Director of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Can endorse the co-workers effectively and this shout out can motivate team well!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes I just want to send points without anyone knows. Hope can provide this feature.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving the problem of scattered communication and unclear task management by bringing everything into one organized platform. This makes collaboration seamless, keeps everyone on the same page, and ensures that no tasks fall through the cracks. For me, it has boosted productivity and reduced stress. For the team, it creates a sense of clarity and accountability, making it easier for everyone to stay motivated, focus on high-impact work, and celebrate progress together. Using Nectar makes our work not only more efficient but also more inspiring.

  ### 19. A Great Way to Recognize Co-Workers Who Go Above and Beyond

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love being able to recognize co-workers who have went above and beyond their task assigned.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I do wish we had additional points deposited into our account each month to give away.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None that I can think of.

  ### 20. User-Friendly Format with Easy Access to Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal R. | People Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The user friendly format and the easy access to customer service.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I believe the Manager analytics could be a little easier to navigate.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee engagement and a truly collaborative culture are important to me. As a member of People Operations, Nectar has been very beneficial and has helped support those goals.

  ### 21. Enhances Workplace Morale Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LAKEASHA E. | Import Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I appreciate that Nectar allows for employee recognition, as it helps improve social skills and gives people a better outlook at the workplace when they receive recognition and kudos for their hard work. I like the ability to work through and send messages without guesswork. Additionally, the initial setup of Nectar was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Maybe the points could add up a little quicker.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nectar for employee recognition. It enhances social skills by improving outlook at work through recognition and kudos for hard work.

  ### 22. Excellent for Team Recognition and Building Connections

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that it is a great way for people to recognize each other and build connections across teams.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I would like to see more about the shoutout in the email notification without having to stop what I am doing and log into Nectar to see the full shoutout.

The navigation within Nectar is not as easy as I think it could be. Perhaps this is my lack of knowledge. Could we see the delineation of how and when points were added to our available reward points?

Are all reward gift cards electronic? Is there an option to have a physical card (such as for a gift)?

Searching for prior shoutouts - can this only be done through the filters by department, activity type, office location or values? Is there a general 'search'?

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognition of employees that deserve a shoutout. Nectar makes it easy to give them a shoutout. It would be nice, though, to have the option of a private shoutout to let an employee know that they are appreciated without causing jealousy in another employee.

  ### 23. Easy-to-Navigate UI with Smooth, Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taqwa A. | At Risk Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Easy UI to navigate, no bad performance.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Limited options at the moment with the points so that's probably a pricing problem/issues with ROI

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it integrates well for HR, they can send out auto messages and utilize the AI I'm sure to disperse information

  ### 24. Personalized Shout-Outs, Fast and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra B. | Front Desk Receptionist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The personalized shout outs, easy to navigate and use, super fast, definitely worth the price,

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Not applicable, I rather enjoyed it through and through

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps us bridge the gap between busy schedules and taking the time to recognize employees and the work they do.

  ### 25. Useful tool for team building

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruth R. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I think this tool is useful for making people feel valued for their skills across teams. It helps acknowledge each person for their unique abilities. The team can celebrate their wins with each other, and encourage good behaviors in each other.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The login constantly forgets that the computer has been used before, and requires a reauthentication process.

Also, comments on a post should allow you to thank the person giving points and give some back. Instead, it only allows giving points to all people called out in the post.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is difficult to set aside a time and place for acknowledging our fellow team members, especially team members who work in different positions with us, as we don't have many meetings that are not billable - and billable meetings means we have to monitor how that time is spent.
It also helps to encourage good behaviours - hopefully discouraging bad behaviors.

  ### 26. Nectar Makes Recognition Meaningful and Motivating

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia M. | Warranty admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar has truly been beneficial. When receiving points I feel it helps show people you have been recognized for work performed. For some employees, seeing that they earned points makes them work harder and even happy to work. Also it is really awesome for employees to be recognized for training and helps push to learn more when there's a small treat at the end :)

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only downside of Nectar is that we as employees only can give up to 50 points

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly it solves some problems for certain employees that need recognition and saves a manager time from finding a person and saying thank you

  ### 27. Nectar Incentivizes Teamwork

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | Product Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

My favorite thing about using Nectar is that it provides us (myself and colleagues) to reward each other for being helpful, informative and for going above and beyond. The best part about it- thanking your coworker isn’t funded by your own wallet. My company gives me an allowance monthly to spend on my coworkers, so the thank you is free- there’s no reason not to send a shout out!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only thing I have felt annoyed with about using Nectar is that I am frequently logged out of my account on both my work tablet and my personal cellphone. This complaint is small potatoes- but that should tell you just how little there is to dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a business environment, it can sometimes be difficult to know the best way to acknowledge or thank a coworker. Nectar addresses this issue by enabling users to send points as a form of shout out, which the recipient can later redeem for rewards of their choice. This approach removes the guesswork for the sender, making it easier to show appreciation without worrying about what the recipient might prefer.

  ### 28. Great for Employee Recognition and Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great tool for recognizing and celebrating employees. It makes it easy to give shoutouts and helps boost team morale. The platform encourages appreciation across departments and creates a positive culture of recognition.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

One challenge we’ve noticed is that some employees wait until the end of the month to distribute all their points at once, often without adding meaningful comments. We’ve encouraged more thoughtful messages to make recognition more genuine, but it’s still an ongoing effort.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps us create a culture of appreciation and recognition across our team. Before using it, shoutouts were inconsistent and often went unnoticed. Now, everyone has an easy way to recognize coworkers for their effort and teamwork, which boosts morale and engagement. It’s also helped improve communication between departments and made employees feel more valued on a daily basis. We love that it's integrated with Slack!

  ### 29. Engaging, Fun, and Rewarding Team Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is an engaging, dynamic way to interact with your coworkers and recognize all the hard work the team puts in! It is easy to use, the challenges are unique and fun, and there is an excellent rewards selection to choose from.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish there was a way to cash out rewards directly to a checking account.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is fostering engagement between team members! I admit, I did not enjoy using it at first. However, that is more so because I am an old lady at heart that struggles with change and new platforms or systems sometimes overwhelm me. However, after realizing how easy it is to use it became a great way to interact and engage with coworkers in a way that I was never previously doing! I might have thought to send a quick message to a team member, but then it slipped my mind or got lost in the shuffle. It is clear how many points you have left, and a good way to remind myself to send those shoutouts I thought of through the day!

  ### 30. A Fresh, Meaningful Way to Appreciate Colleagues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that this gives me a new way to show appreciation to my colleagues, rather than just saying “good job” or “I appreciate you.”

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Limits on how many points you can send someone but I realize that isn't something Nectar decides

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by giving me a way to show my coworkers they’re appreciated, with a real reward to back it up.

  ### 31. A Simple and Effective Employee Recognition App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mubeen I. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like how simple and user-friendly Nectar is. It makes recognizing and appreciating coworkers quick, fun, and effortless. The clean design makes it easy to use, even for first-timers.

Nectar helps create a culture of recognition by making it easy to celebrate both small and big contributions. The points and rewards system is motivating, and it gives employees flexibility to choose rewards that are actually meaningful to them. It also boosts team morale and strengthens collaboration, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes the selection of rewards could be expanded to give even more variety. Other than that, the overall experience has been very positive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the challenge of keeping employee recognition consistent and meaningful. In a busy work environment, it’s easy for appreciation to be overlooked, but Nectar makes it simple to acknowledge contributions right away. This has helped strengthen team morale, improved engagement, and created a more positive culture where people feel valued for their efforts.

  ### 32. Motivating Rewards with Useful Discounts and Gift Cards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that it’s really motivating and keeps me engaged, because the rewards can be tailored to what I actually like. Company swag usually only goes so far, but with Nectar you have access to discounts and gift cards that you can actually use.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It would be helpful to be able to sign up for notifications so I don’t forget to enter my points and can stay even more engaged. I’d also like the option to set a points goal and have the app track my progress toward it. Those features would mainly enhance the program overall, but there isn’t anything in particular that I dislike.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps me stay on track with my health goals and keeps me accountable, so I can make sure I earn the points that add up toward a prize.

  ### 33. Boosts Team Accomplishment and Appreciation—Perfect for Remote Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry C. | Order Processing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I think it fosters a sense of accomplishment and appreciation amongst the team. In a company that's mostly remote, that is very important.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Occasionally the UI can be a little difficult to navigate, but that is a very mild criticism.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It encourages building a stronger teamwork through acknowledgment.

  ### 34. Nectar is an incredible program promoting positivity, bringing the whole company together as a team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mandy R. | Visual Display Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a way to publicly promote positivity by acknowledging and appreciating each other. When co-workers and team members give extra help or do acts of kindness, they can be publicly thanked for their good works by adding a Nectar post with points and kind words! It's fun to add GIF's and photo images to the comments posted. Nectar is very user friendly and easy to navigate. I use it quite often to recognize my team for their great work and efforts. I love the point system and how points can be utilized to buy gift cards and other rewards. It's great how other people can add points and comments to each post too! It creates a positive energy and vibe within the company. Love it!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I really do not see any downsides of Nectar. It is a fantastic program that promotes positivity!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the problem of not having a way to publicly praise, acknowledge, and reward great work, incredible amounts of effort, and good works being done throughout the company.

  ### 35. Nectar is extremely user friendly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy H. | Workforce and Economic Development Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is easy and fun. It's a great foundation for team building. I love the fact that you can send shout outs to co-workers who have done something extra and deserve the recognition. It's a great support tool to connect and bring focus to our organization through their employees. Employees are the face of the organization, and what better way share what's happening or being done within your organization. Nectar allows you to recognize birthdays, special occasions, or just for going the extra mile, but everyone can see it and celebrate with you. Earning points is an added bonus to the platform. Gaining gift cards for whatever you is needed or wanted is always a plus too!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I can honestly say I don't think there is any downside to Nectar. I'd recommend it to any organization with numerous employees.
I do wish there was an icon for Nectar that I could put on my screen for easier access (and maybe there is and I'm unaware of it).

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar allows you to recognize someone who has gone the extra mile for you whether it's in a time of need, or just because. It's great to be recognized for the extra work, support, or kindness shown to others you work with. Nectar is a great way to say thank you, because sometimes we forget to say it.

  ### 36. A Great Way to Recognize Colleagues and Celebrate Good Deeds

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that you can openly acknowledge your colleagues and thank them for things they've done while giving them the opportunity to earn something for their good deeds

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish there wasn't a limit on how much you could give someone.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve better collaboration

  ### 37. Easy to Use and Great Recognition Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is very easy to use and navigate, especially as a new user. I really enjoy being able to recognize other members of my company, and the selection of available rewards is very vast as well.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There is nothing worth noting that I dislike about the platform

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I enjoy being able to recognize other members of company. I also enjoy being able to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries as well.

  ### 38. Easy Peer Recognition That Brightens the Workplace

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb T. | Landscape Architectural Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great resource to recognize my co-workers for their hard work. Sometimes things go unnoticed especially in a larger company. Being able to recognize people who have helped me out with Nectar points is a effortless way make someone else day or week.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The main drawback I’ve noticed with Nectar is that you’re limited to a set number of points to give each month. It would be great if there were an option to add your own points to distribute as well.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar grants me the ability to reward and recognize my co workers for their hard work and their assistance. It also allows me to interact and engage with people that I may not see on a everyday basis.

  ### 39. Meaningful Peer Recognition Made Easy with Nectar Incentives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jillian Kekauoha J. | Virtual Receptionist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is the incentives they offer. I think it’s a great way to show appreciation for your coworkers and peers, and it makes recognition feel more meaningful.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Maybe a bigger variety of Amazon gifts, and maybe more restaurants, would make it even better—but I already love it all!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like Nectar helps solve the issue of showing appreciation for each other and for the people we work with. I believe it improves company morale and encourages us to appreciate one another, both as coworkers and as friends.

  ### 40. Great Gift Card Variety, Though Monthly Points Feel Limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallory A. | Assessment Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that there’s a variety of gift cards to choose from when using my reward balance.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I only receive 75 points each month to distribute.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A reward system for our company that I benefit from with points

  ### 41. Great Rewards and Flexibility, But Reporting Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I can instantly reward team members for their efforts. I also like that my team can choose company swag and numerous gift cards with their earned points.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The reporting is pretty simple and difficult to use. As a finance leader, I need to account for all these transactions and the reporting is not robust enough for what I need. I find using the platform login is difficult and annoying to get into. I avoid it as much as possible.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think employees always want to reward others for cross-function collaboration, and Managers want to reward employees for going above and beyond. This platform help with immediate recognition/reward for employees, and reinforcement of company values

  ### 42. A Fun, Meaningful Way to Recognize Staff with Rewards They Actually Want

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly D. | Middle School Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that I can praise my staff, and they can use those points to redeem things they actually want.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I do not like that points renew every month, I think weekly would be better

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Culture: it helps lift staff culture.

  ### 43. Nectar Makes Team Recognition Easy, Visible, and Real-Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how Nectar makes recognition simple and visible across the entire team. It helps people feel appreciated in the moment, rather than only during annual reviews, and it keeps that sense of appreciation more consistent day to day.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Overall, it’s a strong platform, but there’s still room to improve the consistency of engagement and to expand the reward options, which would make it even more impactful.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps address the issue of recognition being inconsistent or sometimes overlooked. It provides a more structured way to acknowledge contributions, which makes me feel more valued and more aware of the impact my work has on the team.

  ### 44. Easy to Use and Flexible Award Distribution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It's easy to use and navigate through. I like how you can split up the award amount however you want each month vs a set amount per shoutout. This way, a coworker that goes above and beyond can get a big shoutout!
When you choose a gift card payout, getting it within an hour is also super helpful. In fact, I think I got most of mine within about 10 minutes! This way I can print, go, and use it right away.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The point values are pretty low (1 point is 10 cents) - so even if I sent a shoutout of all my nectar at once and it seems awesome like 50 points yay!! it's only $5.
The amount we get per month is also low ($5 to send out and that's IF I send it all at once - normally I try to split into 10 for 5 coworkers which is literally $1 and feels really cheap).
I wish points rolled over - I've been caught forgetting about using them until near the end of the month and then I went on vacation and forgot to send any and just lost em. That way when I come back, I can send them! Or build up to send someone a really nice shoutout.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with employee engagement and recognition from fellow coworkers, as opposed to being just from managers.

  ### 45. Nectar for employee engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina S. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar has been an incredibly helpful platform for building a culture of appreciation within our organization. The most helpful aspect is how easy it makes peer-to-peer recognition. Team members can quickly give shout-outs and meaningful recognition to one another, which has helped boost morale, strengthen cross-team relationships, and create a more positive workplace atmosphere.

Another major upside is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. It integrates seamlessly into our daily workflow, which makes participation easy and consistent. The ability to attach points to recognition is also a big plus — it adds an extra layer of excitement and gives employees tangible rewards for their contributions.

We’ve also found the automated celebrations for birthdays and work anniversaries especially valuable. It ensures no milestone goes unnoticed, and it takes the pressure off managers to manually track and remember these dates.

Overall, Nectar has been a simple yet powerful way to encourage appreciation, celebrate achievements, and promote a stronger sense of community across our team.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While Nectar has been a great addition overall, its impact depends heavily on consistent participation — if engagement dips, the platform’s value can lessen. We’ve also found that building and launching challenges could be more intuitive; the process can feel a bit cumbersome compared to how seamless the recognition features are.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Nectar, recognition often happened inconsistently and mostly in silos — some teams were great at celebrating wins, while others rarely did. Nectar has helped solve this by creating a centralized, easy-to-use platform where recognition is visible across the entire organization.

It’s breaking down those silos by encouraging cross-team appreciation and helping people feel seen for their contributions, no matter their role or location. This has improved morale, strengthened connections between colleagues, and reinforced our core values in day-to-day work.

It has also solved the challenge of tracking milestones like birthdays and work anniversaries, which used to be time-consuming to manage manually. Automated reminders and celebrations ensure no one is overlooked, which helps employees feel valued and supported.

Overall, Nectar has turned recognition into a consistent, organization-wide practice — building a stronger, more positive culture and boosting engagement in the process.

  ### 46. Nectar Makes Recognition Easy and Fast

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy Nectar is to use. I enjoy being able to quickly make a post and send points to my colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I have not noticed a downside as of yet.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not necessarily a problem, but again, I like the engagement with team members i may otherwise not interact with much.

  ### 48. Nectar: Easy, Fun, Encouraging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele J. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Our employee recognition program has quickly become one of the highlights of our workplace culture. What makes it stand out is how incredibly easy it is to use. The platform is intuitive from the start—you don’t need training or extra time to figure it out. With just a few clicks, you can celebrate a teammate’s contribution, recognize a milestone, or share appreciation in a way that feels meaningful.

But ease isn’t the only win—it’s also genuinely fun. The program brings energy and positivity into everyday work. Whether it’s sending a quick shout-out, adding a playful note, or watching recognition messages ripple across the team, the experience sparks joy. It transforms recognition from a checkbox activity into something people look forward to.

The best part is how it encourages everyone—not just managers—to participate. That inclusivity builds connection and creates a culture where recognition is shared, authentic, and part of the daily rhythm.

Overall, this program has made it effortless to show gratitude while adding an element of fun that keeps our team engaged and motivated.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Some experienced issues with the initial login.
Does not accept a lot of GIFs - compatibility issue.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps bridge the gap with employess that work remote. Incrase moral with in the Team.

  ### 49. Celebrating Successes Together with an Easy-to-Use Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline F. | Group Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great way for our group to share successes & celebrations with our colleagues in a like-minded community of adults supporting our students. I appreciate that Nectar gives us the opportunity to have points each month that we can share with one another when sending a shout-out. I also find the system / app easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Some of our colleagues are not as tech-savy and can't access their accounts often and don't know how or can't use the app.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not aware of any problems or issues that Nectar is helping us solve other than keeping us in communication more often with one another, maybe.

  ### 50. Nectar Brings the Team Together

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven C. | Director of Client Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar has been a great way for our teams and the company as a whole to come together and recognize one another. It’s become a key way we communicate wins, and our team is very active in using it.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There is nothing that I could say that I dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In leadership, you are always trying to find new ways to give thanks and recognize your team members. This helps take some of the guess work out of that, allowing the team members to decide their rewards.
