## Nectar Reviews
  ### 1. Nectar HR Makes Peer Recognition Effortless with Smooth Slack and Teams Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit S. | Bid Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar HR does a great job of bridging the gap between peer recognition and tangible rewards, thanks to its smooth integrations with Slack and Teams. I found it highly intuitive and budget-friendly, making it a strong fit for small-to-mid-sized companies that want to build and maintain a consistent culture of appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The social feed can quickly turn into a “popularity contest,” where back-office or more introverted employees are often overlooked. On top of that, the high monthly platform fees and the “point inflation” can make the rewards feel less meaningful, especially compared with the effort it takes to earn them.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us feel like we’re all on the same team, and that we can appreciate each other.

  ### 2. User-Friendly Employee Recognition That Strengthens Team Connections

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elvis M. | Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a user-friendly application that connects employees with one another, both within and outside my workspace. The points-based matrix is instrumental in making this happen because it motivates employees through team building and by letting us redeem points at different outlets of our choice. The variety of outlets available for using points is another reason I like the application. I’ve also connected with many of my colleagues through Nectar by celebrating their birthdays, work anniversaries, and the accomplishments they’ve achieved.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Personally, I wouldn’t say there’s anything I dislike about the application. That said, there are still some areas for improvement, particularly around the app’s interface and revising the points-based matrix so it’s more achievable and easier to use across different outlets.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping solve challenges around networking and employee motivation within my organization. As employees connect through different accomplishments, it strengthens a culture of team-building and cohesion, and supports a safe, healthy work environment. Because people are able to network more, they also have the added benefit of earning points that can be redeemed at different outlets at any time, which further boosts employee motivation and morale.

  ### 3. A Great Way to Get to Know Colleagues and Receive Positive Feedback as a New Employee

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carol G. | Client Relationship Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

As someone who is new to a company, it's a great way to learn who your colleague's are and what they do. It's also really great to start a job and right away have your colleagues give you feed back in a positive way after only being here a short time.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing that I can think of right now. I think it's a good system.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know that I would say it's solving problems and much as it prevents them through team building. It's always fun to see your co workers reactions to things and get the email in your own inbox that you've been recognized. It's also a great way to underscore the values of our company since we use them with a # for each time we send points to our coworker.

  ### 4. Great for Peer Recognition

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jarnai L. | 5th Grade Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar allows colleagues to recognize and highlight positive interactions with one another which boosts morale within the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I dislike the leaderboard on Nectar. It seems more like a popularity contest when those who are more well-known receive points and are highlighted for all to see.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar encourages staff to look for opportunities to provide genuine commendation. This helps me seek out the positive things that are happening each day and motivates me to help others.

  ### 5. Fast, Rewarding Recognition with Instant Gift Card Redemptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I feel rewarded for going above and beyond in my work. I used to do it simply because of my work ethic, but now I also earn rewards that I can redeem for gift cards or other cool things.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's nothing I really dislike about it. I think it works well and I usually get the rewards within minutes of redeeming.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It creates greater incentive to foster a collaborative environment among coworkers.

  ### 6. Strengthens Teamwork and Camaraderie Among Coworkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | Economics Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It helps build camaraderie among your coworkers and strengthens the sense of teamwork.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes I run out of time and, when I’m really busy, I don’t have the chance to write out shoutouts. I just wish the points could roll over to the next week or even the next month.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly write shout-outs during team-building professional development sessions and in special circumstances that justify them. Some weeks go by when I don’t really have a reason to leave one.

  ### 7. Appreciative and Meaningful Recognition!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

For a small amount of money, we are incentivized to say thank you. Given a limited budget of thank you credits and default public nature adds meaning to the reach out. The interface is fast and easy to use, making small familiarity with social media the only requirement. My last place handed out thank you cards to try to achieve the same effect and it didn't take hold in the corporate culture like Nectar.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I've not run into any issues. The interface is fast and responsive and AI is used to make sure that your thank you is complete.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making the corporate culture more appreciative, and connecting the overall goals by having those as hashtags.

  ### 8. Easy Recognition and Reward System with Great Redemption Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie R. | Customer Care Embracer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like being able to shout out a recognition and give a gift of points. I also have a wide range of items available to redeem. It's easy to use with Teams and easy to learn how to use it. The interactive challenges that companies can do also make it fun. I log in daily. I also like how it integrates with our survey and allows customers to provide an incentive they would like to recognize us with if they feel like we went above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's not anything I dislike, it would be cool to set up my personal email to receive my redemption rewards instead of my work email but it's not a big deal.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee and engagement. We are able to receive immediate feedback on how well we are doing and challenge each other to do better. Recognition is also fun since you can donate your points awarded to give out to those you were helped by or want to give an extra recognition to.

  ### 9. Great Employee Recognition with Meaningful Incentives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer R. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that as employees, we are able to recognize each other's accomplishments and I LOVE that we get incentives for personal use such as gift cards, etc. I think thats a great way to show employee's appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I dislike that the amount of points we get is very low and its hard to accumulate enough to use them.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping with making employees feel a little more appreciated and it is benefiting our motivation to gain more nectar points.

  ### 10. A Fantastic Way to Recognize and Appreciate Each Other

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie O. | Supervisor of Registrars, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that we’re able to recognize one another. People like to feel appreciated, and this is a really great way to show our appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing!!! I love everything about it. I just wish my employer would give us more points to give out!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the lack of face to face appreciation that is apart of an in person company. Being virtual, Nectar allows us to appreciate and keep that momentum of recognition alive on the daily.

  ### 11. Simple to Use, Great for Recognizing and Rewarding Team Efforts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo P. | Branch Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Very simple to use and a great way to recognize and reward the efforts of our team members!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I have none so far. There are good products.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to recognize and reward our team member's efforts.

  ### 12. Clear, Concise Rewards That Strengthen Team Relationships

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It’s clear and concise. We mostly use it as a reward system for my company, and being able to quickly set an allowance, make note of team members who have helped throughout the month, and reward them for it feels endearing and promotes a healthy work life. It also supports healthy work relationships and gives me something to look forward to achieving day to day.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I’m not familiar with the other products or opportunities Nectar has to offer. There isn’t anything I can say I dislike, but I think it would be helpful to have a bit more insight into the different resources it provides.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team building and camaraderie. It gives me and my team something to talk about each month.

  ### 13. Easy peer rewards with customizable shoutouts and seamless payroll integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy it is for employees to reward each other. I also appreciate that we can customize the values we add to the "shoutout," which helps us consistently reinforce those values. Lastly, the integration with our payroll systems means we don’t have to manually add or remove employees, which saves time and reduces extra administrative work.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Only that some people don't use it on a regular basis. We signed on hoping we would get 100% participation, but unfortunately, not everyone participates.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to give a free service (massage or facial) to all of our employees every month, regardless of their performance or how many hours they worked. We reached out to Nectar because it allowed us to create "custom rewards" and distribute points based on performance. It also provided gift cards as a reward for those employees that didn't want a massage or a facial.

  ### 14. Fast to Implement, Effortless to Use—A Powerful Boost to Culture and Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyeta s. | Senior Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The platform brings together rewards and recognition, communication, and feedback to give leaders clear insights that help strengthen culture and performance. It’s fast to implement and effortless to use, and it fits seamlessly into the tools your team already relies on. Overall, it helps organizations create workplaces people don’t want to leave.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Although Nectar integrates seamlessly with the tools our team already uses—Microsoft Teams, Slack, Outlook, and more—so recognition can happen regularly and naturally within the flow of work, we’ve run into issues with customer support. When it comes to getting help, the support experience hasn’t been that great, and that’s where we start facing problems.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines company messaging, bridges gaps between remote and in-office employees, and strengthens culture through effortless communication. Leaders also get real-time visibility into who is receiving and reading updates, which removes the guesswork about whether critical messages are truly being seen. No more wondering if important announcements are disappearing into a black hole.

  ### 15. Wonderful user-friendly recognition platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen R. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a user-friendly recognition platform that genuinely contributes to fostering a positive and appreciative culture. I appreciate how straightforward it is to send quick shout-outs, and being able to connect them to core values adds extra significance to the recognition. The rewards system is also a great feature—earning points that can be redeemed for actual gift cards and perks helps motivate people and makes the appreciation feel authentic.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't have many complaints about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Your recognition carries greater significance: you’re not simply offering a “good job,” but rather reinforcing important values, providing meaningful rewards, and helping to foster a visible culture of appreciation.

The process is straightforward and quickly becomes second nature. The system is designed to make giving recognition easy and frequent, allowing it to naturally integrate into your daily workflow.

By offering thoughtful recognition to others, you actively contribute to higher morale, increased motivation, and stronger connections within your team.

  ### 16. Uplifting Recognition Platform That Brightens My Day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Music Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I appreciate being able to look back at the compliments from colleagues, especially on tough days when I need a boost. It’s comforting to scroll through those kind words and revisit the positive thoughts whenever I’m feeling down.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Honestly, having only 10 points per month to share with colleagues feels insufficient. I really wish we were given more points each month so we could better recognize and reward our coworkers.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe this program is being used in my district to help boost morale among colleagues. Initially, I thought the site was pointless and felt it was a waste of my time and energy, almost as if the district was offering a pretend reward. However, after seeing it in action, I’ve come to really appreciate the program. It’s a great way to send positive messages to coworkers, especially if I know they’re having a tough day, or to offer praise after someone’s hard work or a significant achievement. I also love that the points I earn can be redeemed for real gift cards to a wide variety of places.

  ### 17. Engaging Platform for Staff Recognition and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lei Ann D. | Special Education Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is used in my school district, and I find it to be an enjoyable way for staff to learn about new programs the district offers. It also provides an opportunity for staff members to connect, support one another, and collaborate by giving points. I appreciate how it allows us to be recognized and earn points that can be redeemed for incentives.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Although it is a good program, I found it somewhat difficult to set aside enough time to fully explore everything it has to offer. As a busy educator who is constantly planning, handling paperwork, and teaching students, it just didn’t feel like a top priority. I definitely rely on the email reminders about updates and points to share and redeem.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar has increased my awareness of the staff benefits available to me. I have now signed up for all of them and can appreciate how useful they might be. I find the insurance and financial benefits particularly important.

  ### 18. Nectar Makes Organization-Wide Recognition and Shoutouts Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel L. | English Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that every member of our entire organization is accessible to acknowledge, and Nectar makes it easy to build a great shoutout.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I know this doesn't have anything to do with Nectar itself, but sometimes I feel like I wish I had more points to share.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As remote colleagues, we can connect and interact through Nectar, which can be a collaborative problem. This connectivity is definitely a benefit.

  ### 19. Easy to Use Platform with Plenty of Gift Card Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal S. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy the platform is to use and how any gift card options there are.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I haven't found anything I dislike with Nectar so far.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't currently have any problems I need Nectar to solve.

  ### 20. Effortless Employee Engagement and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that Nectar offers an easy way to congratulate employees on their efforts and share positivity with all staff. It's great for acknowledging when an employee does something well and aligns with our core values. The feature that allows managers or anyone in the organization to share accomplishments and gift Nectar points, which can be redeemed for gift cards, is really valuable. Additionally, the process of handling wellness reward challenges is efficient, with records kept in the cloud. As a user, I found the initial setup very easy.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't like that only managers can post privately. Sometimes co-workers are hesitant to share a shout-out because they worry another co-worker might get jealous.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nectar for efficient employee shout-outs and wellness challenges, storing records in the cloud. It makes congratulating employees easy, allowing anyone to share positivity and reward with points redeemable as gift cards.

  ### 21. All-in-One Social Posting and Scheduling Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nia K. | Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that it is a hub for our company to interact with each other. I like that it post like a feed so everyone in the company can see I feel like it boost moral.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

we want to be able to do polls that go out to our staff and the fact that certain challenges that we create we have to create an extra step so the idea goes as smoothly as it needs to. I feel like certain features are limited where we have to seek other apps.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to engage and recognize those in our company and boost moral by people getting points

  ### 22. Flexible Rewards and Effortless Peer Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like the flexibility of the rewards, especially in comparison to other work recognition systems I've used in the past. It's easy to hop into and quickly recognize people without a lot of effort and it really empowers employees to be able to recognize peers too.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

My biggest sticking point is mostly just trying to find the right category of accolade to fit my call outs into. The system does a good job of prompting through the whole process as it is, so it's not hard at all to use.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely employee recognition. It's the best source of recognition I've been able to find so far, and it's structured in a way that really promotes recognizing your coworkers.

  ### 23. Easy, Intuitive Team Recognition Tool with Lots of Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia G. | Collections Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It’s a really nice tool for interacting with my team and for recognizing everyone’s efforts and accomplishments. It also offers many different options that let us enjoy the benefits, and overall it’s very easy and intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I feel like it could be more inclusive for remote teams, with more diversity in the benefits offered outside the USA.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Teams integration is great. It’s really nice to participate and see people interacting and recognizing each other’s achievements. Even when I’m working remotely, it still makes me feel like I belong.

  ### 24. Intuitive Coworker Rewards with Real-World Points

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia L. | Educator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like the whole idea of being able to award coworkers real world usable points. I think that the platform is easy to use and is very intuitive. I have not yet used my points on anything yet so I do not know how easy that will be.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I have not run into anything that I really dislike about Nectar. Occasionally it can be a little difficult to log in.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar provides incentive to go above and beyond.

  ### 25. Frequent Recognition That Truly Boosts Employee Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Executive Director, Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Frequent recognition has a massive impact on employee morale.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It's a bit far to reach the area that shows where I've given points in the past and that report often doesn't load on the first try (my profile -> activity -> given).

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is vital in ensuring colleagues feel valued

  ### 26. Effortless Recognition That Boosts Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Program Support Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how simple and intuitive it is—anyone can give recognition quickly, and it fits naturally into our daily workflow. The most helpful part is having all recognition and rewards centralized in one place, with automated milestones that save time. It also really boosts morale and motivation across teams—especially remote or hybrid environments. Overall, the upsides are better team morale, stronger culture, and a fair, consistent way to appreciate people across the company.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There’s nothing I dislike about Nectar. I think it’s a great service!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar addresses the issue of inconsistent or neglected employee recognition by providing a straightforward, centralized platform for acknowledging achievements, milestones, and daily contributions. At the company where I work, this has led to higher morale and better engagement, particularly among remote employees like me. It has also made it simpler for leadership to reinforce our culture and values.

  ### 27. Easy One-Click Praise and a Great Live Shoutouts Feed

I like the live feed of shoutouts; I like the ease of the program and the ability to do "one-click" praise

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I dislike my monthly point allowance. I need more points on months I am testing site coordinator.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At its core, Nectar is designed to solve the "Silent Hard Worker" problem—where people do great work every day, but because it’s not a major project milestone, it goes unnoticed.

  ### 28. Effortless Team Recognition and Rewards with Nectar

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria N. | Senior Procurement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is great for rewarding my team and other members of the organization when they exhibit our company's core values and work together to help everyone succeed. It's quick, easy, and everyone appreciates the recognition and reward. The platform helps ensure you recognize people and show gratitude regularly as well.

Speaking of recognition, the ability to make the shoutout private or public helps when considering whether a team member is not comfortable with public praise. You can still show your appreciation for them without putting it on the public-facing page.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It is a bit confusing when you are first getting used to the platform, or maybe that's just me. Either way, once you figure out what information is required to make the shout-out, it is smooth sailing.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managers and team members alike get absorbed into the day-to-day and often forget to show how much they value the work that their colleagues are doing. Nectar makes it quick and easy to show gratitude to anyone in the organization and promotes doing so regularly.

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It allows me a platform to support and thank my co-workers with real rewards and benefits. Employees feel truly appreciated.

Some employees only "exchange" points with their friends and therefore abuse the system.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping me with collaborating with collegues and build relationships in the virtual environment which can be difficult to do and it also provides proof of positive intent and appreciation/gratitude,.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian S. | Staff Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I’m able to reward my work associates for the great work they do.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I only get 50 Nectar points a month, so I can give as many compliments as I’d like.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to give complements and suggestions to coworkers in a meaningful/fun way.

  ### 32. Platform to establish high level expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg E. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The recognition means more to people than the money does. As a manager, it also allows me to recognize work that meets and exceeds company expectations and provide that as an example of what to strive for. It provides a way to learn by celebration in my mind. I appreciate that opportunity with my young staff and I fully believes it motivates them to a degree.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Some employees have login issues. The software, functionality and platforms could be much slicker, cleaner and tight.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a bar for my staff to aspire too. It allows what I apprecaite to be advertised without trying.

  ### 33. A Fun, Rewarding Way to Gamify Great Workplace Practices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is a fun way to gamify and reward employees for good workplace practices!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It can be a little tough to view organizationally speaking, so having to scroll ends up taking time.

They solve my painpoint of introducing myself to a new company, but with shoutouts people in the firm can see and know who I am.

  ### 34. Nectar gives me the opportunity to efficiently recognize & reward my employees +coworkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What is most helpful about Nectar is that it gives me as a manager reminders as well as more opportunities to be able to reward my employees & praise their efforts for the whole company to see the appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

What I dislike about Nectar is the discounts page, because many of the "discounts" aren't that discounted if you know what current prices are.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving the problem of me having to remember to give rewards for my team's collaboration and hard work. The benefit to them is instant.

  ### 35. Fun and Rewarding Way to Recognize Colleagues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa D. | Digital Advocate II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I've really enjoyed using Nectar within our organization as a way to recognize and reward my colleagues. It's an easy platform to use and the built in hashtags are good prompts for celebrating others. It's been fun to share points as well as collect my own to use on so many different types of rewards.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only thing I find a little difficult is remembering to go to my personal notifications when I've received a shout out from someone because it doesn't show up in my feed.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it's been a great way to reward and celebrate coworkers when we are all working remotely as well as in situations where there isn't a budget or ability to provide monetary or actual gifts. I've been able to use points save on big purchases and just get things 'for fun' that I wouldn't have normally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominique R. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I Like Nectar because I like being able to reward someone for the little things they do not think people notice. Giving someone points could brighten up there day if they are having a bad day. I think it is a cool way to show recognition to others.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

No dislikes from me i like nectar so dislikes from me.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar benefits me by being able to give points to other and also allows me to get points that i can use on things. It solves problems by you giving someone who had a bad day points and that could brighten up there day and make them feel better.

I don't dislike anything about the Nectar system. It is really intuitive and easy to use, the use and application is very easy to do both with.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Recognition. It provides a means for recognition of employees through a platform that all can be seen on.

  ### 38. Nectar Keeps Employees Engaged and Motivated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a strong incentive for improving employee performance, and it helps encourage people to stay engaged and motivated.

Honestly, I haven’t found a downside to Nectar. I’ve only had positive experiences with it so far.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping my team stay on track. It also helps employees feel valued, which motivates them to keep working hard and stay engaged.

  ### 39. Easy-to-Use Rewards That Boost Team Morale and Recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It boosts morale and lets me acknowledge my co-workers while earning points at the same time, which helps me keep up with my shopping. :)

  ### 40. User-Friendly Peer Recognition with Helpful Mobile & Email Notifications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrianna M. | Sales Support Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a very user-friendly platform. It not only walks you through the process of recognizing a peer, but it’s also laid out in a way that’s easy to navigate. I also appreciate the push notifications in the mobile app, along with the email notifications, which make it easy to stay on top of updates.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Redeeming rewards only in whole amounts can be difficult at times. I feel like I’ve left points on the table because I didn’t have quite enough to redeem them when I wanted to. I also wish the points could carry over from year to year.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be hard to feel truly appreciated at work—especially when you work remotely. Nectar helps bridge that gap by giving you a place to read recognition and to receive recognition for a job well done. I also genuinely enjoy seeing my peers get rewarded, and sometimes I even like that more than receiving rewards myself.

  ### 41. Familiar Facebook- Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia R. | Second Grade Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best is how familiar it feels—it's a lot like Facebook.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The downside is that everyone can see who you give Nectar points to, and who you don’t give them to.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves some aspects that I miss from working in person. It benefits me when I give points—I feel like I’m showing up with a Starbucks for a coworker who helped me give the lesson.

  ### 42. Easy, Encouraging, and Keeps Me Motivated Every Day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** juan s. | Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Its easy, encouraging and keeps me motivated to perform better every day

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It could have better partnerships to allow more offer of products and rewards, also i would like that nectar points would be more valuable in front of its cash reference

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its giving me an incentive to keep a good job and giving me another way to save for emergencys (having access to food or buyng usefull stuff)

  ### 43. Nectar of the Gods!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco T. | Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Everything. The interface is easy to use and very intuitive. The shoutouts to be engaging with gifs/emojis help make it fun. Being able to see leaderboards is a great way to gamify the experience, also.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I find the login process to be a bit clunky - this could be our own system, but often I have to authenticate and would prefer a remember me or something just to make dropping in/out quick. This is exceedingly nitpicking, so please keep that in mind. In general I do find the interface/user experience to be fantastic!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of finding creative ways to celebrate small wins that don't feel forced. It is common for us to use GIFs or fun/light messages in day-to-day communication via Teams, and Nectar just feels natural.

  ### 44. Effortless Recognition Across Global Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cliodhna O. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It's really easy to use and a lovely way to make colleagues feel appreciated. It is especially good for international and remote teams as there are options for cashing in your points in all countries. I am in Portugal and I have colleagues in Italy, Northern Ireland, South Africa, Spain and England. It is great that we can all use this platform.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

In general Nectar is great but the 2FA every single time i log is a little annoying, it always thinks I am on a new device but I am never on a new device.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar allows us to connect with each other and also is a nice way to feel appreciated both by our employer and by each other. It is helping to solve the disconnect that can occur with remote teams.

  ### 45. Easy-to-Use Employee Shout-Outs That Make Recognition Feel Genuine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron V. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It’s really easy to use and a great way to give employees shout-outs. It makes me feel genuinely recognized, and it also lets me reward others.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Their embed feature is a little confusing when it comes to SSO. You have to copy the code and then paste it back in.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really helps with employee recognition and encourages a more collaborative atmosphere at work.

  ### 46. Keeps Our Team Engaged and Active with Nectar Points

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It helps our team stay more involved in socializing and keeps us active, with our supervisors engaging us through questions and rewarding us with Nectar points.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There isn't anything to dislike about it.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes us feel rewarded whenever an individual employee accomplishes something whether it is small or big.

  ### 47. Easy Co-Worker Recognition with Seamless Microsoft Sign-In

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy it is to recognize my co-workers for their help by being able easily search for their name and how well it's integrated with Microsoft to make it an easy sign in experience.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The biggest downside I've found is that points need cashed in closer to the beginning of the month. If you wait until the middle or end of the month to use them, you can get locked out and unable to cash in until the start of the next month.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's the easiest way to recognize my co-workers and let them know how much their help means. It's an easy way to show how valued they are.

  ### 48. Great for coworker shout-outs and wellness, but the login and setup could be simpler

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany W. | Page, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the ability to publicly thank my coworkers for all the help, teamwork, professionalism and guidance that they give me.
I like the focus on health.
LOVE our town SWAG.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wouldn't even have any idea how to log onto it and couldn't use it without the (very helpful) links.
I THINK I can add my 3-mile walks to work somehow...but haven't really had the time to play with it or to figure it out (yet).

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me solve the problem of how to professionally and properly thank my coworkers for all that they do to help me.

  ### 49. Makes Employee Appreciation Part of the Daily Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer P. | Curriculum and Instruction Specialists, English grades 6-12, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Recognizing employees who go above and beyond because it moves appreciation away from "once-a-year" reviews and into the daily workflow.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish we could have more points to give. Otherwise, I do not dislike Nectar's platform or features.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Invisible Effort Gap. In many companies, small wins and daily "saves" go unnoticed by leadership. Nectar solves this by allowing peer-to-peer recognition.

  ### 50. Love the Points and Discounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nikesh k. | sales rep, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**
