## Nectar Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Employee Engagement and Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelcie W. | Human Resource Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I appreciate Nectar for streamlining milestone recognition for birthdays and anniversaries, which frees us to focus on other tasks. I also like how the communication portion keeps everything centralized and pushes important information to the forefront. It's convenient being able to send messages via email or text. We use the challenges feature to motivate people with points for completing tasks we need them to do. Switching to Nectar for communication made sense since we were already using it for recognition and challenges, allowing us to keep everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish we could set the challenges for a fiscal year instead of calendar. We run on calendar year, and it would just make things easier.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar streamlines milestone recognition and centralizes communication, keeping everything in one place. It motivates with point-based challenges and frees up time by handling recognitions effortlessly.

  ### 2. Easy-to-Use Recognition Tool That Builds Camaraderie

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ALEX D. | Water & Distribution Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is great because it puts an incentive on recognizing others in your company for things they may not get recognition for. It also promotes camaraderie. It is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There isn't anything that I dislike about nectar. The only thing and this may be specific to my company is that we have health incentives that are given out as nectar points. It would be nice to filter that out from the main page, with a company our size, sometimes it can get cluttered.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Nectar solves the problem of apprehension someone may have about recognizing someone else in the company face to face. It is a good way to recognize but also have incentive behind it. It benefits me because it is a tangible site and I make time to use it.

  ### 3. Easy Employee Recognition, But Reward Variety Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit P. | Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar makes employee recognition very simple and more consistent. The points and rewards system keeps teams engaged and it’s easy to appreciate someone for good work in public channels. Setup is quite easy and doesn’t take much effort. Integrations like Slack can be enabled quickly, and team onboarding is simple. Support is responsive and helpful for most queries. Sometimes the resolution takes time when it’s related to rewards or third-party vendors. We use Nectar weekly for giving recognition and sending points. It becomes more active during team events or monthly appreciation cycles.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Reward options can feel limited depending on location, and sometimes the catalog doesn’t have enough variety. Also, few features feel basic and could be improved for better customization.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool fosters a culture of appreciation by integrating recognition into everyday work routines. As a result, it helps boost morale, enhances engagement, and ensures that employees feel acknowledged on a more consistent basis.

  ### 4. A great platform for building a culture of appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hrithik V. | Software Engineer - Trading Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar makes employee recognition simple, visible, and engaging. It’s easy for me (and others on my team) to recognize coworkers in real time, attach rewards, and reinforce our company values and principles. The Slack integration is also very smooth, which makes it easy to recognize others on a monthly basis or quickly when the moment comes up.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While some reward customization options could be expanded, these feel like minor points overall compared with the value Nectar provides.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the problem of inconsistent and informal employee recognition. Before Nectar, appreciation for coworkers and teams was mostly limited to managers and wasn’t very visible across the organization. Now, anyone on the team can recognize great work, which improves transparency and helps boost motivation and engagement. Overall, it has helped build a stronger culture of appreciation and made employees feel more valued.

  ### 5. A Great Way to Recognize Others and Show Appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pa Nhia Y. | Staffing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that you can recognize others, whether it’s for a kind gesture or something they did for you. Sometimes, when someone helps you out with something, people forget to give back or even acknowledge it because everyone gets so busy. This feels like a great way to say thank you and show appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There isn’t anything I don’t like about Nectar. I just wish I could give out more points to people because of all the kind things they’ve done for me!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the common problem of forgetting to send a thank-you card to someone who helped you. Instead, you can recognize and thank them directly through the Nectar app or platform. This is benefitting me in a way where I can send a quick nectar point and recognition to a co-worker who helped me.

  ### 6. Excellent Platform for Employee Recognition and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abbey W. | Project Accountant II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I believe Nectar is an excellent tool for recognizing employees and sharing updates throughout the company. With our team spread across several states, I appreciate being able to see what my colleagues in other locations are working on and to receive recognition for my own contributions. I also really enjoy the rewards system—Nectar provides a variety of great options for redeeming reward points.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The main issue I have with Nectar is that I am repeatedly required to log in, even though it is already linked to Teams. I would prefer if there were an automatic login feature that kept me connected as long as my Teams account is active.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar has made it easier for my company to connect and foster a positive atmosphere. We can recognize each other's achievements, which really boosts morale. I also love that we can use the recognition points we earn to redeem gift cards—it's a great incentive!

  ### 7. Easy Coworker Shoutouts for Recognition, Birthdays, and Work Anniversaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlin T. | Substance Abuse Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The best thing I like in regards to Nectar is being able to send shoutouts to other coworkers, not only for them to be see/be recognized, but others can see the things they do as well! It's also a great way to celebrate coworkers birthdays and recognize their employment time within the company.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The least helpful thing I don't like about Nectar is the hashtags. You are unable to post until you add a hashtag and I feel sometimes the hashtags do not go with what you are sharing.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving the problem of sharing staff shoutouts from were ever you are instead of having to do the shout out face-to-face. We are also able to celebrate others even if we are not with them at the time.

  ### 8. Empowering Recognition Across the Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darcy L. | Contact Center Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the chance to shout people out and have them recognized by the whole company. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, there are a number of gifs and fun memes to use in shout outs. I look at it every day to see what shout outs are being given, and I am always so proud when I receive a shout out.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I really don't dislike anything at all, I can't think of anything.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives frontline workers the chance to be seen by everyone, and of course, the rewards just make it that much better. We use it for recognizing outstanding work, but also on rough days, we like to do fun things like "I'll give 10 nectar to the funniest dad joke". Since everyone gets an allowance to give out, it empowers everyone on the team to recognize good work, or to create a bit of fun.

  ### 9. A Simple and Powerful Platform for Meaningful Employee Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankush v. | Customer Support Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how easy and effective it is as an employee recognition platform. It’s very user-friendly, simple to implement, and integrates smoothly with existing workplace tools. The platform encourages frequent use by making recognition quick and engaging, while offering a strong range of features like peer recognition, rewards, and reporting. Additionally, the customer support team is responsive and helpful, making the overall experience smooth and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While **Nectar** works very well overall, one area that could be improved is adding even more customization options for rewards and reporting to better fit different company needs. Sometimes, minor feature enhancements or additional flexibility in configurations would make the platform even more powerful. However, these are small improvements, and the overall experience remains very positive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the problem of inconsistent and infrequent employee recognition by making appreciation simple, structured, and part of everyday work culture. It eliminates the gap where good work often goes unnoticed and replaces it with a transparent, peer-driven recognition system. This benefits me by creating a more motivating and positive environment where efforts are acknowledged in real time, boosting morale, engagement, and overall team collaboration.

  ### 10. Effortless Recognition and User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia C. | Claims Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really appreciate how Nectar allows me to publicly recognize my coworkers in a way that genuinely benefits them. The platform is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and find whatever I need. Giving shoutouts is also a quick and straightforward process, which I find very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only aspect of Nectar that I find frustrating is the need to cash out points in set increments, which often leaves a small balance remaining. However, I am unsure if this is a decision made by Nectar or if it is outside of their control.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Nectar, my organization did not have an easy way to recognize many people for the small things they did. Nectar has made it simple to show everyone that their efforts are valued and that every contribution, no matter how minor, is important.

  ### 11. Easy Recognition and Reward System with Great Redemption Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie R. | Customer Care Embracer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like being able to shout out a recognition and give a gift of points. I also have a wide range of items available to redeem. It's easy to use with Teams and easy to learn how to use it. The interactive challenges that companies can do also make it fun. I log in daily. I also like how it integrates with our survey and allows customers to provide an incentive they would like to recognize us with if they feel like we went above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's not anything I dislike, it would be cool to set up my personal email to receive my redemption rewards instead of my work email but it's not a big deal.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee and engagement. We are able to receive immediate feedback on how well we are doing and challenge each other to do better. Recognition is also fun since you can donate your points awarded to give out to those you were helped by or want to give an extra recognition to.

  ### 12. Fast to Implement, Effortless to Use—A Powerful Boost to Culture and Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyeta s. | Senior Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The platform brings together rewards and recognition, communication, and feedback to give leaders clear insights that help strengthen culture and performance. It’s fast to implement and effortless to use, and it fits seamlessly into the tools your team already relies on. Overall, it helps organizations create workplaces people don’t want to leave.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Although Nectar integrates seamlessly with the tools our team already uses—Microsoft Teams, Slack, Outlook, and more—so recognition can happen regularly and naturally within the flow of work, we’ve run into issues with customer support. When it comes to getting help, the support experience hasn’t been that great, and that’s where we start facing problems.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines company messaging, bridges gaps between remote and in-office employees, and strengthens culture through effortless communication. Leaders also get real-time visibility into who is receiving and reading updates, which removes the guesswork about whether critical messages are truly being seen. No more wondering if important announcements are disappearing into a black hole.

  ### 13. Wonderful user-friendly recognition platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen R. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a user-friendly recognition platform that genuinely contributes to fostering a positive and appreciative culture. I appreciate how straightforward it is to send quick shout-outs, and being able to connect them to core values adds extra significance to the recognition. The rewards system is also a great feature—earning points that can be redeemed for actual gift cards and perks helps motivate people and makes the appreciation feel authentic.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't have many complaints about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Your recognition carries greater significance: you’re not simply offering a “good job,” but rather reinforcing important values, providing meaningful rewards, and helping to foster a visible culture of appreciation.

The process is straightforward and quickly becomes second nature. The system is designed to make giving recognition easy and frequent, allowing it to naturally integrate into your daily workflow.

By offering thoughtful recognition to others, you actively contribute to higher morale, increased motivation, and stronger connections within your team.

  ### 14. Engaging Platform for Staff Recognition and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lei Ann D. | Special Education Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is used in my school district, and I find it to be an enjoyable way for staff to learn about new programs the district offers. It also provides an opportunity for staff members to connect, support one another, and collaborate by giving points. I appreciate how it allows us to be recognized and earn points that can be redeemed for incentives.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Although it is a good program, I found it somewhat difficult to set aside enough time to fully explore everything it has to offer. As a busy educator who is constantly planning, handling paperwork, and teaching students, it just didn’t feel like a top priority. I definitely rely on the email reminders about updates and points to share and redeem.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar has increased my awareness of the staff benefits available to me. I have now signed up for all of them and can appreciate how useful they might be. I find the insurance and financial benefits particularly important.

  ### 15. Effortless Employee Engagement and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that Nectar offers an easy way to congratulate employees on their efforts and share positivity with all staff. It's great for acknowledging when an employee does something well and aligns with our core values. The feature that allows managers or anyone in the organization to share accomplishments and gift Nectar points, which can be redeemed for gift cards, is really valuable. Additionally, the process of handling wellness reward challenges is efficient, with records kept in the cloud. As a user, I found the initial setup very easy.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't like that only managers can post privately. Sometimes co-workers are hesitant to share a shout-out because they worry another co-worker might get jealous.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nectar for efficient employee shout-outs and wellness challenges, storing records in the cloud. It makes congratulating employees easy, allowing anyone to share positivity and reward with points redeemable as gift cards.

  ### 16. All-in-One Social Posting and Scheduling Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nia K. | Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that it is a hub for our company to interact with each other. I like that it post like a feed so everyone in the company can see I feel like it boost moral.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

we want to be able to do polls that go out to our staff and the fact that certain challenges that we create we have to create an extra step so the idea goes as smoothly as it needs to. I feel like certain features are limited where we have to seek other apps.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to engage and recognize those in our company and boost moral by people getting points

  ### 17. Flexible Rewards and Effortless Peer Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like the flexibility of the rewards, especially in comparison to other work recognition systems I've used in the past. It's easy to hop into and quickly recognize people without a lot of effort and it really empowers employees to be able to recognize peers too.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

My biggest sticking point is mostly just trying to find the right category of accolade to fit my call outs into. The system does a good job of prompting through the whole process as it is, so it's not hard at all to use.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely employee recognition. It's the best source of recognition I've been able to find so far, and it's structured in a way that really promotes recognizing your coworkers.

  ### 18. Effortless Recognition That Boosts Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Program Support Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how simple and intuitive it is—anyone can give recognition quickly, and it fits naturally into our daily workflow. The most helpful part is having all recognition and rewards centralized in one place, with automated milestones that save time. It also really boosts morale and motivation across teams—especially remote or hybrid environments. Overall, the upsides are better team morale, stronger culture, and a fair, consistent way to appreciate people across the company.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There’s nothing I dislike about Nectar. I think it’s a great service!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar addresses the issue of inconsistent or neglected employee recognition by providing a straightforward, centralized platform for acknowledging achievements, milestones, and daily contributions. At the company where I work, this has led to higher morale and better engagement, particularly among remote employees like me. It has also made it simpler for leadership to reinforce our culture and values.

  ### 19. Effortless Team Recognition and Rewards with Nectar

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria N. | Senior Procurement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is great for rewarding my team and other members of the organization when they exhibit our company's core values and work together to help everyone succeed. It's quick, easy, and everyone appreciates the recognition and reward. The platform helps ensure you recognize people and show gratitude regularly as well.

Speaking of recognition, the ability to make the shoutout private or public helps when considering whether a team member is not comfortable with public praise. You can still show your appreciation for them without putting it on the public-facing page.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It is a bit confusing when you are first getting used to the platform, or maybe that's just me. Either way, once you figure out what information is required to make the shout-out, it is smooth sailing.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managers and team members alike get absorbed into the day-to-day and often forget to show how much they value the work that their colleagues are doing. Nectar makes it quick and easy to show gratitude to anyone in the organization and promotes doing so regularly.

  ### 20. Fun and Rewarding Way to Recognize Colleagues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa D. | Digital Advocate II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I've really enjoyed using Nectar within our organization as a way to recognize and reward my colleagues. It's an easy platform to use and the built in hashtags are good prompts for celebrating others. It's been fun to share points as well as collect my own to use on so many different types of rewards.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only thing I find a little difficult is remembering to go to my personal notifications when I've received a shout out from someone because it doesn't show up in my feed.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it's been a great way to reward and celebrate coworkers when we are all working remotely as well as in situations where there isn't a budget or ability to provide monetary or actual gifts. I've been able to use points save on big purchases and just get things 'for fun' that I wouldn't have normally

  ### 21. Nectar Makes It Easy to Recognize and Reward the Little Things

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominique R. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I Like Nectar because I like being able to reward someone for the little things they do not think people notice. Giving someone points could brighten up there day if they are having a bad day. I think it is a cool way to show recognition to others.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

No dislikes from me i like nectar so dislikes from me.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar benefits me by being able to give points to other and also allows me to get points that i can use on things. It solves problems by you giving someone who had a bad day points and that could brighten up there day and make them feel better.

  ### 22. User-Friendly Peer Recognition with Helpful Mobile & Email Notifications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrianna M. | Sales Support Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a very user-friendly platform. It not only walks you through the process of recognizing a peer, but it’s also laid out in a way that’s easy to navigate. I also appreciate the push notifications in the mobile app, along with the email notifications, which make it easy to stay on top of updates.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Redeeming rewards only in whole amounts can be difficult at times. I feel like I’ve left points on the table because I didn’t have quite enough to redeem them when I wanted to. I also wish the points could carry over from year to year.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be hard to feel truly appreciated at work—especially when you work remotely. Nectar helps bridge that gap by giving you a place to read recognition and to receive recognition for a job well done. I also genuinely enjoy seeing my peers get rewarded, and sometimes I even like that more than receiving rewards myself.

  ### 23. Nectar of the Gods!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco T. | Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Everything. The interface is easy to use and very intuitive. The shoutouts to be engaging with gifs/emojis help make it fun. Being able to see leaderboards is a great way to gamify the experience, also.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I find the login process to be a bit clunky - this could be our own system, but often I have to authenticate and would prefer a remember me or something just to make dropping in/out quick. This is exceedingly nitpicking, so please keep that in mind. In general I do find the interface/user experience to be fantastic!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of finding creative ways to celebrate small wins that don't feel forced. It is common for us to use GIFs or fun/light messages in day-to-day communication via Teams, and Nectar just feels natural.

  ### 24. Great for coworker shout-outs and wellness, but the login and setup could be simpler

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany W. | Page, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the ability to publicly thank my coworkers for all the help, teamwork, professionalism and guidance that they give me.
I like the focus on health.
LOVE our town SWAG.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wouldn't even have any idea how to log onto it and couldn't use it without the (very helpful) links.
I THINK I can add my 3-mile walks to work somehow...but haven't really had the time to play with it or to figure it out (yet).

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me solve the problem of how to professionally and properly thank my coworkers for all that they do to help me.

  ### 25. Inspires Team Bonding with an Excellent Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio O. | Paid Media Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like Nectar's entire system, which incentivizes building a strong workplace culture and creating stronger bonds between coworkers. I also think the user interface its strong and well designed.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I think it's strong overall, but maybe there's a way to make the platform even more interactive. At the moment, I only use it to send Nectar points but given that I tend to give those away around the same time, it means I don't really interact with Nectar for the majority of the month.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is great for building a strong workplace culture and making me feel more connected to my company, beyond my immediate team. I think it does a great job of encouraging people to be more social, helpful, and resourceful.

  ### 26. Easy, Meaningful Coworker Recognition with Positive Reinforcement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aly M. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I enjoy the ease at which I can offer acknowledgement to my co-workers for the ways in which they bless me. I also love the positive reinforcement it offers to me on a personal level to take care of myself and get rewarded! The app is easy to use and submission of proof is simple.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I honestly don't have any negatives to offer.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is encouraging me to express my gratitude to my coworkers with use it or lose it points to give away! Nectar is encouraging me to get my steps in and/or my work out in for easy to obtain points.

  ### 27. Uplifting Team Spirit with Shoutouts, Worth the Extra Effort

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory W. | Behavior Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the use of the shoutouts to highlight when people do well and the positive atmosphere nectar creates for our team, and then how that translates to direct positive reinforcement of your choosing by redeeming points for things you want or even need!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Taking the time to remember to go in and make shoutouts for others as it feels like one more thing to do, that said, I think it is definitely worth doing, and everyone at our company seems to really enjoy it!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has changed simple things in our company that result in huge gains. For example, points are given for being on time to meetings and appointments and since using Nectar, often times people are there before meetings 2-3 minutes and are chatting and engaging with one another. That is valuable team building to hear about co-workers personal lives and make connections outside of the work we do.

  ### 28. Heartwarming Recognition and Easy Rewards with Nectar

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha K. | Secondary Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the basis of Nectar. It always warms my heart when I receive a shout-out, and it allows me shout-out my colleagues as well. It goes right to my email, so I always know when I have points to use. The challenges are also a great way to earn perks for things I'm already doing. We use it all the time in our district, and it's very easy to get a hang of things.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish there was a wider variety of challenges to complete. I also wish the points we were allotted were a bit more. I'd love to shout-out MORE people, but I only really get 10 points.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps me to feel connected with my colleagues. Whether I'm getting or giving a shout-out, I always feel closer when Nectar is used.

  ### 29. Fosters Community and Recognition—A Must-Have Platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth J. | Claims Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really appreciate the sense of community this platform fosters within our company. It's wonderful to see hard work being recognized—not just my own, but also that of my colleagues. I highly recommend it, and it has become a fantastic way for me to reward myself as a busy, hardworking mom and wife. My Nectar rewards are truly just for me!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I truly hope a direct deposit feature into my bank account becomes available, or perhaps a dedicated Nectar card where the funds could be transferred directly. It would be great if this could be offered as an option in the future.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate how easy it is to quickly send shout outs and rewards to individuals who truly deserve recognition.

  ### 30. Exactly what every company needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris W. | Manager of Solutions Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a really awesome way to acknowledge your coworkers in a fun and engaging way. Many companies have a peer-to-peer recognition software or method but it is pretty much always clunky or difficult to use so employees don't use it. Nectar fixes that problem and then some. Not only is it easy to use, but it's also fun to use with the integration of gifs. I appreciate being able to break up your allowance into into many chunks to shower numerous coworkers with praise or appreciation. Our entire company uses Nectar and not sporadically. There are always points flying around all the time.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish there was a way to send back points to someone who gave you points in the comments of the thread. Like if someone is like "thanks for doing a good job on this! +100" I'd like to be able to comment back like "hey, thanks for the help with it +50"

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar replaces the old clunky way we did peer-to-peer recognition. Our old way was via salesforce which as you can imagine was a nightmare.

It's benefiting not just me but the whole company. We're remote so it's hard to give what feels like genuine praise via an email or chat. Nectar provides a bit more body to what sometimes feels like passive praise.

  ### 31. Shoutouts, Points, and Good Vibes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raquel W. | CRC, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Honestly, I really like using Nectar. It’s super easy to use—I didn’t need anyone to explain it to me, I just logged in and started sending shoutouts.

I usually use it a few times a week to give coworkers some recognition or just say thanks when someone helps me out. It’s cool seeing everyone hyping each other up—it definitely adds some good vibes to the workday.

Getting recognized feels good too, not gonna lie. And the rewards are a nice bonus (there’s actually stuff I want to redeem points for).

Overall, it’s simple, fun, and makes work feel a bit more positive.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes the point limits make it hard to recognize as many coworkers as I’d like. Would be nice to have a bit more flexibility.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps make recognition part of our everyday work. It’s a quick, easy way to shout out coworkers, and it really boosts team morale. People feel more appreciated and motivated.

  ### 32. Varied Point Redemption Options That Keep Us Motivated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angy M. | Property analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like the variety of options available for redeeming points, and I feel they help with motivation, since work can sometimes be stressful

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Some options are only available in the USA, and as a remote worker, I would like you to consider including other countries

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my personal case, I was able to buy a better office chair after receiving some points as a reward from my company. It was very rewarding to have Nectar so I could redeem the points and improve my workspace

  ### 33. Thinking about using Nectar? DO IT! Nectar is AMAZING!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seth D. | Culinary Instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar HR is an outstanding platform for recognizing and rewarding employees who go above and beyond their job descriptions. It strikes the perfect balance between being professional and personal, making recognition feel both meaningful and genuine — you can’t help but use it often! Giving Nectar points to coworkers is truly rewarding; it’s such a simple, yet impactful, way to show appreciation and motivate others. On the flip side, receiving points is incredibly encouraging — a tangible reminder that your hard work is seen and valued. Nectar is so easy to use that it’s become part of my daily workflow.

The platform is very user-friendly, and implementation was smooth and straightforward. It integrates easily with other workplace tools, and customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever I’ve had questions. I also love the thoughtful design — for example, when you’re typing a shoutout, the system turns green once you’ve written a strong message, which is such a fun and motivating touch. The “Rewards Shop” is another highlight, offering a huge variety of options to redeem points. Personally, I’ve even used my Nectar points to help book several BnB stays for vacations, which has been an amazing perk.

Overall, Nectar HR makes recognition effortless, engaging, and rewarding. With its easy integration, rich features, and supportive team, it’s a must-have tool for any organization that values appreciation, motivation, and positive company culture.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There is little to dislike about Nectar; however, when completing challenges, I wish the algorithm would bump those down in the feed to show the person-to-person shoutouts first. I think it would help add more of a positive feeling, seeing all of the shoutouts first!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar HR is solving the challenge of consistent and meaningful employee recognition. In many workplaces, great work often goes unnoticed or isn’t celebrated in a timely way — Nectar changes that by making appreciation easy, visible, and part of everyday culture. It provides a simple platform for giving and receiving recognition that feels both professional and personal.

For me, this has created a more positive and motivating work environment. It’s rewarding to give points to coworkers who go above and beyond, and equally encouraging to receive them. The built-in “Rewards Shop” adds even more value, turning recognition into tangible benefits. Overall, Nectar helps strengthen team morale, improves engagement, and makes recognition something everyone looks forward to.

  ### 34. Effortless Employee Recognition with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo P. | Business Process Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that we can get to recognize employees on a daily basis for taking actions aligned with our core values. Something that before would go without little to no recognition, now we can do a shoutout so the company knows.
It's super simple to use, and the onboarding was quick and easy.
Lastly a shoutout to their customer support. I have contacted them a few times, and they are quick to answer and provide a quick solution to my issue or question. I highly recommend Nectar!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing that I can think ok right now. I know that there are some cool features that are behind a paywall, but we are happy with the ones we have!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team engagement and culture for Local and Remote employees.

  ### 35. Building a Culture of Appreciation from Anywhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea J. | Intake Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I find most valuable about Nectar is its ability to foster connection and recognition in a remote work environment. It provides an accessible platform to express appreciation and award points to colleagues, even when we don’t interact in person. I also appreciate the opportunity to read and engage with others’ recognition posts, as it helps build a sense of community and reinforces a culture of appreciation across the team.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I think Nectar is a wonderful platform!
One enhancement that could improve the user experience would be the ability to access gift cards directly within the app, rather than locating them through email.

I wouldn’t consider this a true dislike—more of an opportunity to make an already great tool even better.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While working from home and not having in person connections with other remote coworkers Nectar encourages a culture of appreciation and engagement by allowing you to see and celebrate others’ successes

  ### 36. Enhancing our Organizational Culture, one Nectar Point at a time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ann B. | Chief of Staff, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar provides an intuitive experience and aligns directly with our mission and values, making it easy for employees to recognize each other. We've integrated the platform with our Teams system, allowing staff to access Nectar effortlessly whenever they want to give praise or a shoutout—which happens daily in our workplace. Setting up Nectar was a smooth process, and our implementation team was fantastic to work with. Although the platform is so user-friendly that we rarely have questions, whenever we've needed administrative support, customer service has been prompt and helpful. This rewards and recognition tool has been a great addition; we celebrate our "givers" and "receivers" of Nectar Points at every monthly All Staff meeting, and Nectar is frequently mentioned in our annual engagement survey as something employees value (both the recognition and the "nectar points").

Redeeming points has been a highlight for our team. The swag store offers excellent choices, and the speed at which staff receive their items surpasses other recognition platforms we've used. It has even become a regular topic at our All Staff meetings to discuss the latest swag picked up from the Nectar Swag Store. Overall, Nectar has truly enhanced our organizational culture.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

We have no complaints at all—Nectar has fulfilled all our needs and even exceeded our expectations.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar enables us to connect across departments and recognize employees for their outstanding work, successful collaborations, as well as important milestones and birthdays. In our remote and hybrid work environment, our team communicates primarily through Teams and email throughout the day. Integrating Nectar within Teams has made it effortless for colleagues to celebrate each other's achievements and express gratitude for support and assistance. Since transitioning to Nectar from our previous system—which required staff to log into a separate platform—we have noticed a significant increase in appreciation. The old process felt like an extra chore, and many simply didn't think to participate. Now, Nectar Recognition messages are exchanged daily and flow naturally among staff members.

Nectar has helped us overcome the challenge of breaking down communication silos and fostering appreciation across the organization. It has also given our team greater insight into the work others are doing. The addition of fun "gifs" makes the messages even more engaging, and some of our staff have become expert "gif finders," always choosing the perfect one for each occasion. This playful touch brings smiles to everyone’s day, often just when they need it most.

Finally, Nectar does so much for us, yet it is incredibly budget-friendly for our non-profit association! We are able to use this for encouraging Volunteer Days, Contests, and more!

  ### 37. Customizable Recognition with Rewards for Everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren S. | Recruiting Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the way you can customize it for your company values and tag the departments or coworkers that you are recognizing. The points and variety of rewards available mean there is something for everyone! Makes it super easy to recognize team members in meaningful ways. Even the un-techy people on our team have been able to use it successfully.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I find it difficult to access notifications. I get an email someone has tagged me or commented on something but on Nectar itself it can be hard to find.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 100+ locations across four islands and this streamlines the employee recognition process in a way that traditional or corporate/physical site recognition could not

  ### 38. Finally a Reward I can use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deborah S. | On site Property Manager, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is a fun way to acknowledge the people you work with and their accomplishments or tell others the little things that they do not get to know about the day to day performances of those team members not close or in the same region as each other. Also lets the supervisors know how well their team members can work together and come up with solutions to a problem and recognition for going above and beyond what they are expected to. An easy way to earn points that can be tuned into a gift certificate or redeemed on amazon for various items. What employee doesn't like to feel appreciated.? This allows you to give the praise to those who have worked hard to meet a goal or to to improve on their skills they needed to improve . It also allows you to give shout outs to a new hire or retiring team member. I think that it is a great way to show the team that you see them and appreciate the efforts they are putting into the organization. quietly yet effectively, It is also nice that you can turn the points into something you want, not something that is given to you that you will end up regifting to the next person who has a birthday. Not something I would find rewarding if it were me. Just saying.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

they do not provide a full description of items you can get with your points. You have to go to amazon.com and look them up first if you must know the specific details. Otherwise you are simply making a decision because you wanted it and don't really care about the details anyway.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Closes a gap making it possible for everyone in the company to engage in congratulating others for a job well done. Also helps everyone to know what's going on in the other regions and divisions of the company. Makes them mor informed on what their company has going on as a whole and gives a better understanding of what we do as a company I get to know the members that I never see in person yet we can have a work relationship. I do not have to travel to do so .I get points for my performances and i can give to others. It helps me know that I am just one of many to makes a difference on a daily basis. That makes me happy and all is good in my world knowing that I am a part of a team and I am just as important to this company as they are. I get great rewards I pick for myself and I am the only one that can limit how often I am rewarded by working hard and continuing to do my job that I am already paid to do each payday but my bosses are generous and want us to know that we are appreciated not just here to make them money but to make us money and enjoy actually coming in to work daily. So its a win win kind of thing

  ### 39. A Great Tool That Keeps Our Team Connected and Appreciated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raaj G. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how seamlessly it integrates recognition into our daily workflow. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and encourages genuine appreciation across teams. The ability to publicly recognize colleagues for their contributions—big or small—has really helped boost morale and reinforce a positive culture. It’s also great to see how it aligns with our company values and makes recognition feel meaningful rather than transactional.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While Nectar is a great platform for recognition, one area that could be improved is the customization of rewards and point structures. At times, it feels a bit limited in tailoring incentives to match our team’s unique culture or project milestones. Additionally, the reporting features could be more robust—having deeper analytics on usage trends and engagement would help us better understand its impact and optimize how we use it.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping solve one of the most common challenges in team environments—ensuring consistent and meaningful recognition. In fast-paced projects, it’s easy for appreciation to fall through the cracks. Nectar provides a structured yet flexible platform that makes it simple to recognize contributions in real time, across departments and roles.
For our team, this has translated into stronger morale, better collaboration, and a more engaged culture. It’s also helped leadership stay connected to the day-to-day wins happening on the ground, which is especially valuable in a construction environment where progress is often incremental but critical.

  ### 40. Empowering Team Recognition with Seamless Endorsements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kai W. | Director of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Can endorse the co-workers effectively and this shout out can motivate team well!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes I just want to send points without anyone knows. Hope can provide this feature.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving the problem of scattered communication and unclear task management by bringing everything into one organized platform. This makes collaboration seamless, keeps everyone on the same page, and ensures that no tasks fall through the cracks. For me, it has boosted productivity and reduced stress. For the team, it creates a sense of clarity and accountability, making it easier for everyone to stay motivated, focus on high-impact work, and celebrate progress together. Using Nectar makes our work not only more efficient but also more inspiring.

  ### 41. Enhances Workplace Morale Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LAKEASHA E. | Import Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I appreciate that Nectar allows for employee recognition, as it helps improve social skills and gives people a better outlook at the workplace when they receive recognition and kudos for their hard work. I like the ability to work through and send messages without guesswork. Additionally, the initial setup of Nectar was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Maybe the points could add up a little quicker.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nectar for employee recognition. It enhances social skills by improving outlook at work through recognition and kudos for hard work.

  ### 42. Excellent for Team Recognition and Building Connections

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that it is a great way for people to recognize each other and build connections across teams.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I would like to see more about the shoutout in the email notification without having to stop what I am doing and log into Nectar to see the full shoutout.

The navigation within Nectar is not as easy as I think it could be. Perhaps this is my lack of knowledge. Could we see the delineation of how and when points were added to our available reward points?

Are all reward gift cards electronic? Is there an option to have a physical card (such as for a gift)?

Searching for prior shoutouts - can this only be done through the filters by department, activity type, office location or values? Is there a general 'search'?

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognition of employees that deserve a shoutout. Nectar makes it easy to give them a shoutout. It would be nice, though, to have the option of a private shoutout to let an employee know that they are appreciated without causing jealousy in another employee.

  ### 43. Useful tool for team building

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruth R. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I think this tool is useful for making people feel valued for their skills across teams. It helps acknowledge each person for their unique abilities. The team can celebrate their wins with each other, and encourage good behaviors in each other.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The login constantly forgets that the computer has been used before, and requires a reauthentication process.

Also, comments on a post should allow you to thank the person giving points and give some back. Instead, it only allows giving points to all people called out in the post.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is difficult to set aside a time and place for acknowledging our fellow team members, especially team members who work in different positions with us, as we don't have many meetings that are not billable - and billable meetings means we have to monitor how that time is spent.
It also helps to encourage good behaviours - hopefully discouraging bad behaviors.

  ### 44. Nectar Incentivizes Teamwork

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | Product Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

My favorite thing about using Nectar is that it provides us (myself and colleagues) to reward each other for being helpful, informative and for going above and beyond. The best part about it- thanking your coworker isn’t funded by your own wallet. My company gives me an allowance monthly to spend on my coworkers, so the thank you is free- there’s no reason not to send a shout out!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only thing I have felt annoyed with about using Nectar is that I am frequently logged out of my account on both my work tablet and my personal cellphone. This complaint is small potatoes- but that should tell you just how little there is to dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a business environment, it can sometimes be difficult to know the best way to acknowledge or thank a coworker. Nectar addresses this issue by enabling users to send points as a form of shout out, which the recipient can later redeem for rewards of their choice. This approach removes the guesswork for the sender, making it easier to show appreciation without worrying about what the recipient might prefer.

  ### 45. Great for Employee Recognition and Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great tool for recognizing and celebrating employees. It makes it easy to give shoutouts and helps boost team morale. The platform encourages appreciation across departments and creates a positive culture of recognition.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

One challenge we’ve noticed is that some employees wait until the end of the month to distribute all their points at once, often without adding meaningful comments. We’ve encouraged more thoughtful messages to make recognition more genuine, but it’s still an ongoing effort.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps us create a culture of appreciation and recognition across our team. Before using it, shoutouts were inconsistent and often went unnoticed. Now, everyone has an easy way to recognize coworkers for their effort and teamwork, which boosts morale and engagement. It’s also helped improve communication between departments and made employees feel more valued on a daily basis. We love that it's integrated with Slack!

  ### 46. Engaging, Fun, and Rewarding Team Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It is an engaging, dynamic way to interact with your coworkers and recognize all the hard work the team puts in! It is easy to use, the challenges are unique and fun, and there is an excellent rewards selection to choose from.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish there was a way to cash out rewards directly to a checking account.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is fostering engagement between team members! I admit, I did not enjoy using it at first. However, that is more so because I am an old lady at heart that struggles with change and new platforms or systems sometimes overwhelm me. However, after realizing how easy it is to use it became a great way to interact and engage with coworkers in a way that I was never previously doing! I might have thought to send a quick message to a team member, but then it slipped my mind or got lost in the shuffle. It is clear how many points you have left, and a good way to remind myself to send those shoutouts I thought of through the day!

  ### 47. A Simple and Effective Employee Recognition App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mubeen I. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like how simple and user-friendly Nectar is. It makes recognizing and appreciating coworkers quick, fun, and effortless. The clean design makes it easy to use, even for first-timers.

Nectar helps create a culture of recognition by making it easy to celebrate both small and big contributions. The points and rewards system is motivating, and it gives employees flexibility to choose rewards that are actually meaningful to them. It also boosts team morale and strengthens collaboration, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes the selection of rewards could be expanded to give even more variety. Other than that, the overall experience has been very positive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the challenge of keeping employee recognition consistent and meaningful. In a busy work environment, it’s easy for appreciation to be overlooked, but Nectar makes it simple to acknowledge contributions right away. This has helped strengthen team morale, improved engagement, and created a more positive culture where people feel valued for their efforts.

  ### 48. Nectar is an incredible program promoting positivity, bringing the whole company together as a team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a way to publicly promote positivity by acknowledging and appreciating each other. When co-workers and team members give extra help or do acts of kindness, they can be publicly thanked for their good works by adding a Nectar post with points and kind words! It's fun to add GIF's and photo images to the comments posted. Nectar is very user friendly and easy to navigate. I use it quite often to recognize my team for their great work and efforts. I love the point system and how points can be utilized to buy gift cards and other rewards. It's great how other people can add points and comments to each post too! It creates a positive energy and vibe within the company. Love it!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I really do not see any downsides of Nectar. It is a fantastic program that promotes positivity!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the problem of not having a way to publicly praise, acknowledge, and reward great work, incredible amounts of effort, and good works being done throughout the company.

  ### 49. Nectar is extremely user friendly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy H. | Workforce and Economic Development Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is easy and fun. It's a great foundation for team building. I love the fact that you can send shout outs to co-workers who have done something extra and deserve the recognition. It's a great support tool to connect and bring focus to our organization through their employees. Employees are the face of the organization, and what better way share what's happening or being done within your organization. Nectar allows you to recognize birthdays, special occasions, or just for going the extra mile, but everyone can see it and celebrate with you. Earning points is an added bonus to the platform. Gaining gift cards for whatever you is needed or wanted is always a plus too!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I can honestly say I don't think there is any downside to Nectar. I'd recommend it to any organization with numerous employees.
I do wish there was an icon for Nectar that I could put on my screen for easier access (and maybe there is and I'm unaware of it).

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar allows you to recognize someone who has gone the extra mile for you whether it's in a time of need, or just because. It's great to be recognized for the extra work, support, or kindness shown to others you work with. Nectar is a great way to say thank you, because sometimes we forget to say it.

  ### 50. Easy Peer Recognition That Brightens the Workplace

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb T. | Landscape Architectural Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great resource to recognize my co-workers for their hard work. Sometimes things go unnoticed especially in a larger company. Being able to recognize people who have helped me out with Nectar points is a effortless way make someone else day or week.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The main drawback I’ve noticed with Nectar is that you’re limited to a set number of points to give each month. It would be great if there were an option to add your own points to distribute as well.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar grants me the ability to reward and recognize my co workers for their hard work and their assistance. It also allows me to interact and engage with people that I may not see on a everyday basis.
