The company was founded in Uruguay in 2024 as a spinoff of Pento, a software development firm focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Pento's work had centered on large custom AI projects, and nBlock was created to bring those capabilities to mid-sized companies without long implementation projects or replacing the systems they already run. After early work with SMBs and retail, the company narrowed its focus to wholesale and distribution: a sector with thin margins, large customer portfolios, credit-based sales and ERPs that hold years of transactional data that is rarely analyzed. nBlock is led by Pablo Soto, CEO and co-founder, and Gastón Kehyaian, COO and co-founder. Gastón spent more than 15 years managing retail companies and was the first customer of nBlock's initial version before joining as a co-founder in 2025. That background shapes how the product is built: from the operator's side of the business, around the daily decisions of sales, purchasing and finance teams. The company's approach starts from a simple premise: distributors do not need another dashboard, they need help acting on what their data shows. nBlock is delivered as independent blocks, each one solving a specific problem across three areas: selling more, collecting on time and operating with margin. Companies adopt the platform progressively, one block at a time, with implementations measured in weeks and no long-term contracts. This lets teams see results on a concrete problem before expanding to other areas of the business. nBlock is now developing a new line of AI services, where agents execute complete sequences of tasks that distribution companies currently outsource to external providers. nBlock is headquartered in Montevideo, Uruguay.
