Navex was and is a bad business partner and vendor and I would never want to work with them again and recommend against doing business with them. An executive who is no longer with the company purchased and was clearly oversold. I reached out to renegotiate or figure out a way to partner, and Navex was completely unwilling even though the sold 4 times as many as we had employees at the time. I understand that they had a contract, but they also had an unhappy customer and were completely unwilling to work with us.
Regarding the product, we purchased several modules and I have a different log in for each, which is cumbersome. In addition, while the some of the trainings were decent, the set up for notifications is not intuitive and some of the shorter trainings have low information density (i.e. a 10 min burst course could be done in 5 min or less). The customer service and anyone who is there to "help" you is extremely rigid, unfriendly, and unhelpful. This is not an isolated incident. This is over a dozen calls and even more e-mails trying to resolve issues. I've never experienced anything like it anywhere else. Not only can I not endorse Navex, I would caution anyone who is considering them to carefully consider other options first, and secondly, do NOT sign a long term contract! We like having all of our policies in a central repository. The features we appreciate most are the version control of documents and that all changes are tracked within the software. There is a compare feature where you can compare any published version to another version. The search functionality is fabulous. The software is extremely robust, allowing us to pull reports directly from the dashboard, in addition to the standard reports. We were able to customize the platform to match our company branding for a consistent look for our end users. There are a number of ways to organize data and it is easy to navigate the software. Navex Global provides exemplary customer service. They respond quickly to all requests and are continually improving the software. My company, Apline special Treatmenr center used this software to provide trainings throughout the years to our staff members, without having to pull them from the floor for in person trainings. I love that you can watch and read review trainings at your own convience and then submit then back to HR to show that you are compliant in that area. It’s a great way to break down a lot of information kept in an associate handbook to simplify obtaining the information. A lot of times, I’m scrolling through the hundreds of pages trying to find a specific policy, but this allows for me to click a category as well as search for things I’m looking for.
