## Navan (Formerly TripActions) Reviews
  ### 1. Great Integrations, but Onboarding Delays and a 4-Room Booking Cap

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The integrations they let you connect can really help streamline a business.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I understand that some of the delays aren’t entirely their fault, but the onboarding process still isn’t very fast. Also, they should increase the number of rooms I’m allowed to book, instead of capping it at four at a time.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The streamlined side of it, given the number of rooms we’re booking, should hopefully speed up the process and reduce the hassle of chasing receipts.

  ### 15. Great for Travel Booking, Needs Per Diem Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KC Y.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think it's easy to use, and I like that I can use personal travel without my company seeing it.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I have a problem with the fact that Navan doesn't let me claim my per diem if I'm not officially on a trip. If I don't have a rental car or hotel booked, it doesn't think I'm on a trip, so I can't submit my per diem. Even when I'm staying with someone else, I should still be able to claim my per diem, but the current setup doesn't allow that.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan for booking travel, handling hotel and rental car reservations, and managing per diem claims daily.

  ### 16. Streamlines Business Travel and Expenses Seamlessly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like that Navan actually saves time instead of just shifting work around. Booking travel is fast and predictable because you see what’s allowed, book it, and you're done, without second-guessing. The automation for expenses is mostly effective, with charges showing up on their own and receipts easy to capture, which means I'm not rebuilding reports from scratch at the end of the month. It feels like a "set it and forget it" experience. I really like that travel and expenses are in the same system; everything stays connected, especially when plans change. It prevents messes in expenses or reconciliation and reduces the need for context switching. When I book a trip, the spend is already tracked and flights and hotels are connected to the itinerary, cutting down on manual cleanup and back-and-forth.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan's biggest issue is flexibility. The policy rules are helpful when they align with the company's operations, but in gray areas like last-minute travel or odd international routes, the system can feel rigid. You often have to jump through approval hoops even when the choice seems reasonable. Inventory can sometimes be hit or miss, especially in smaller cities or outside the US, where fewer hotel options or less competitive pricing might appear compared to searching directly. This can be frustrating. The UI, while generally solid, has some flows that feel heavier than necessary, particularly when rebooking or handling complex changes, suggesting they are designed more for compliance than for speed. Also, while expense automation is useful, it's not perfect. You still need to monitor mismatched receipts, confusing categories, or charges requiring manual explanation.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Navan to streamline booking work travel and manage expenses effortlessly without manual reports. It reduces friction, keeps expenses under control, automatically attaches receipts, and supports seamless changes. Everything is connected, preventing wasted time and email back-and-forth.

  ### 17. Smooth Experience for Both Business and Personal Trips

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

What I like best about Navan is how easy it makes booking both personal and business travel in one place. The platform is really intuitive, I can search, compare, and book flights and hotels quickly without jumping between multiple websites.

I also love that it connects directly with my airline and hotel loyalty programs, so I still earn points and status just like I would booking directly. It keeps all my reservations, confirmations, and travel details organized in one spot, which makes trip planning super convenient.

Overall, Navan saves me a ton of time and gives me peace of mind knowing my travel details and rewards are all synced seamlessly.

I like to travel so I tend to use Navan quite often. It integrates with my reward accounts very easily for hotels and airlines. I was not responsible for implementation but it's very easy to use and their support team is very responsive when needing help.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There isn't much that I dislike. To be honest Navan has been smooth and reliable for managing my personal and business travel so I can't complain.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan takes the hassle out of managing travel across different sites and apps. Instead of searching multiple airline and hotel websites, I can handle everything in one place, which saves a ton of time and keeps all my reservations organized.

It also solves the problem of tracking loyalty rewards separately. Since Navan connects directly to my frequent flyer and hotel accounts, I still earn points and status automatically on every trip. That’s been a big benefit, especially for business travel where rewards really add up.

Overall, it’s streamlined how I book, track, and manage trips, making the whole process faster, more transparent, and much less stressful.

  ### 18. Effortless Use with Instant Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert W. | Central Florida Sales Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find Navan incredibly simple to use. The card never fails, and even in remote areas where most apps slow down, Navan works instantly each time. The ease of use is invaluable, especially when I'm on the road. The app is user-friendly and makes reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses nearly instant. The app itself works very well, even in areas with poor cellular service. Setup was also incredibly easy, with very little to do.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There is nothing I do not like about the service.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**
