## Navan (Formerly TripActions) Reviews
 ### 1. Navan Keeps Improving, But Compatibility Issues Still Frustrate

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan always strives to make improvements to their platform. Most of the reps that we work with are generally interested in improving our experience.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

My main frustration is the number of compatibility issues we continue to run into. Even though we are heavy users of the platform, it often feels like we’re the first ones to raise many of the problems we’ve encountered. I understand that no system is perfect, but I’m surprised these issues weren’t already on their radar and that the needed improvements don’t seem to be in the pipeline. Many of our concerns center around problems on the Navan Connect side. Information does not always come over complete from our credit card feed. Statements are missing what Navan calls "office" (location); p-cards do not have all information available (plus managers cannot approve p-card transactions); and there is very little visibility for managers for unapproved transactions under the "info requested" and "awaiting repayment" categories. Also, repayments using credit cards can only be handled using one legal entity (we have about 20). Many other issues in addition to these that we are working through.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have corrected other problems such as making Navan Connect statements static, rather than allow retroactive changes. It is now similar to traditional Navan statements.

 ### 2. Misleading Sales Info and Missing Controls Like Dual Approval and City-Wise Limits

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nasir A. | Asst Manager - Systems & COE, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like Navan Rewards and the user interface.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The sales team didn’t provide accurate information while we were evaluating the product. We were misled about some features that are not actually available—for example, there is no dual approval for travel. Also, we cannot configure city-wise limits for a specific cadre/band of employees.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Travel for our global offices was scattered, and we had little visibility into our travel spend. After integrating Navan for our international offices, it helped us streamline the process and gain clearer insights into our travel spend and the areas we need to focus on.

 ### 3. Overpromised Onboarding and No Sandbox Make Launch Painful

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the potential for what their system has to offer. The overall look and feel is great, as well as the ability to self-serve a lot on the admin side is a great feature (especially when comparing to Concur).

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Onboarding has been painful. We were told that it could be done in 7 days, but it took over 3 months to get to the point where we were forced to launch and the launch has been anything but smooth. The lack of a sandbox environment to do any testing has been a major part of our inability to launch timely - I dont know how larger companies go live on their platform with the ability to do little (if any) testing. Our support person is very friendly and builds great rapport, but the support we get on the technical side just isn't up to the caliber that we expected. Definitely am feeling like we were overpromised on the sales side and being unable to deliver those promises on the onboarding piece.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a more user-friendly UI/UX experience, while providing a better inventory of travel for our team.

 ### 4. Intuitive UI, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I really like Navan's user interface. It feels like it's a new generation that can connect with it quite easily, especially compared to other legacy products that are about fifteen years old. The UI is something that I like the most.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think Navan's support can be improved a lot. Additionally, the customer success or account management team that Navan assigns to us probably could be a little more empathetic towards the customer. I feel they are more centric towards how Navan is right and how Navan is correctly doing things rather than understanding the problems of the customer.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Navan simplifies travel bookings and expense reimbursements, allowing us to manage them independently. It's relatively simpler to use than other models in the market.

 ### 5. navan

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea g. | sales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Not much has changed, except for the costs, which I see as much higher.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

have more choice of cars, have the ability to order by price level

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

notting, it's more clear navan platform, i'm like a lot app, it's very useful TripActions was very complex i like chose to business trip and personal trip for find a good price for my trip

 ### 6. Relatively simple to use platform, but no clear SLA's for support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The interface to configure policies is fairly straight forward, there are just a lot of policies you could configure. Make sure to align your internal policies with whatever you setup or consider changing them to match what's available in Navan.

Note, changing accounts and things in NetSuite or Navan can create some sync issues if you didn't keep them 1:1

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Clearer separation of IT Access from Finance

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan helps by keeping our travel within budget constraints and allowing overrides when necessary. This helps with alignment of company policy while making it easier for our users to get immediate feedback.

 ### 7. Terribly Designed Invoices and Missing Local Formats

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There is no upside. I prefer using direct websites. The tools is mandated by our HQ.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The invoices are terribly designed, and they’re often not available in local formats.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides global reporting but anything else should be managed outside as rates are not good.

 ### 8. Slow, Glitchy Site with Limited Reservation Changes—and Higher Prices Than Direct Booking

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

All of your reservations are housed in one place

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Higher prices than booking directly with hotel, no easy way to alter existing reservations, site is very slow and glitchy

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easier to project hotel costs because all of the history is within the site

 ### 9. Smooth UI and Easy Bundled Booking, but Support and Pricing Fall Short

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UI is smooth helps you make a decision more quickly, i havent used it as much but i like the thing where you can book all 3 hotel car and flight

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The support we got was kind of lackluster.... And the fact that google flights had the same flights but cheaper a bit cheaper but still,

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its easy to make flights reservations and car reservations

 ### 10. Centralized Travel Management, But Higher Prices and Extra Trip Fees

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

centralizes all travel activity in one place

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

prices often more expensive, plus you pay a trip fee

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

more visibility to travel spend

 ### 11. Merger has degraded he product

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Still easy to upload expense but reports for team cost management is poorer than before.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I would say the UI redesign has gone down hill

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of expensing work related purchases

 ### 12. Easy Trip Booking, but Navan Prices Often Higher Than Booking Direct

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cecil C. | Sales Representative-NGM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Its very easy to book the trips for personal or business

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

i have notice that the prices navan list are higher than from going to say Marriot even when you have all your memberships added to the navan site. car rentals are another example.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

none

 ### 13. Hotel Listings Need Improvement and Better Customer Support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I have used Navan before and it integrates well with our corporate systems.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

During my recent trip to Dubai, I reserved a hotel through Navan that was advertised as "good" and rated four stars—the Emirates Grand. Unfortunately, the hotel turned out to be extremely dirty and actually felt like a fire hazard. I reached out to a Navan agent via chat, who assured me they would look into a refund and follow up with an email, but I never received any response. Hotels like this should not be available on Navan, and if you promise to contact a customer, you should follow through.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the moment it is not solving any problem--I had to pay for two separate hotels in Dubai.

 ### 14. Easy Trip Booking, But Prices Higher Than Booking Directly

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

easy to use when you book a trip but price are not the best

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

price a more expensive than booking directly on the airline website

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the selection is consistent but the optimization of the cost is not

 ### 15. Sleek Booking Experience, But Corporate Support Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The looks of the booking tool and ease of booking

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

As a corporate I feel the support given is not enough

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making business travel smooth and convenient

 ### 16. Okay for flights, but interface can be slow and hotels unreliable

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam J. | Member of Technical Staff, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UI is fairly clean and mostly usable. And booking flights is reliable if you get through checkout. Not as painfully rigid as SAP Concur a lot of the time.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It's so slow that it makes me want to tear my hair out everytime I use it. Genuinely gives me an 'ugh' when I have to book travel because I know how painfully slow it'll be.

There are way too many confusing options for hotels. I wish there was a 'simple and fast' mode which would allow me to book travel a lot faster. Additionally booking hotels is sometimes a little unreliable - e.g. I can get to a hotel and they'll have me down for a different room type, or won't have breakfast when the rate I booked does etc.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Booking flights and hotels

 ### 17. Excellent 24/7 Support, But Needs Bug Fixes for Reservations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramona B. | Workplace Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The 24/7 support and knowing that if anything shows up I have someone available to help find the best solution.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Looks like Navan still has some buggs - ie: not showing 2 guests on reservations, missing the option to add name for a second guest to reservation. Prices are much higher for business bookings when compared with other similar providers.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expense management - all company expenses are in one place.

 ### 18. Very clunky and needs refinement for Buisness travelers

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio G. | Logistics Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

That you can book your own travel for Buisness instead of relying on an agent to choose the appropriate plan and hotels for your needs . And the reward programs is also a nice feature

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

That for rental car bookings it does not allow you to charge corporate cards direct so it requires you to provide your own card for rental car bookings for payment and security deposits , along with hotel reservations if you do not choose the hotels.com or Expedia pay in advance option which does not allow you get accumulate travel rewards it requires you to present a card at check in for payment and security deposit , it does not allow you to book the corporate card direct since Navan is a third party , if you do use the pay in advance option a separate card is still required for incidentals so for Buisness travel it is very clunky and does not incentivize people to travel more for work having to put their own cards down and they get reimbursed later .

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not being able to choose your own flight and accommodations

 ### 19. The Hotel fare charged was higher not worth the money spent

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gupta B. | Midlevel Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Portal is good in terms of look and feel and also in terms of usage and full marks for this

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It was my first experience with Navan, usage of the tool was great but would be helpful if any aids were provided to chose the correct property and Navan gets at the right price.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless booking of Airline and hotel

 ### 20. Still Exploring—Too Early to Tell

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James V. | Program Manager - Technology Infrastructure, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Haven’t used it enough to determine yet.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It’s different than our last trip planning system, and I’m not used to the interface.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that the information goes right into my company’s procurement system

 ### 21. One Stop Shop with incredible deals and smart searches.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

While Navan prioritizes searches with my preferred airlines, hotels and rental car companies, it still finds a lot of hidden bargains which can be great when traveling for personal reasons. The choices are searchable via a number of different parameters and it's very easy to save different options and perform "what if?" scenarios. They also do a quick analysis of all choices and verify that they work with our corporate travel policies, which saves a lot of hassle on the back end.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

There is a service fee associated with most bookings.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides me with lots of choices and instant verification that choices are within policy but is pricey

 ### 22. Navan travel Good, Expense part Sucks

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dano M. | Display Technology Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Adding and getting Hotel and Airline credits automatically

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The Expense part Sucks and 10%+ of the time, expenses vanish for days. And not sure if expenses properly ever. Hate how the Navan Card auto expenses Hotel charges, especially deposits. Also Navan points are near useless because I need to book within a week each time and never able to select a reservation that offers them. Expensify was way better for expenses.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Travel but truthfully it has no advantage over me doing my own travel from most other commonly available travel websites like Hotels.com . And comparably worse. Expenses are very clunky and unreliable on Navan

 ### 23. Effortless Flight Search Makes Booking a Breeze. App needs a lot of work.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Aviation & Aerospace | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Flights are easy to find and easy to add hotel, car, ect.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The app for android does not work. This is very frustrating as access to info during travel would be extremely helpful to have.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding good flights without spending a lot of time reviewing and resetting filters.

 ### 24. nothing special

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peyton H. | HR Generalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I liked that I was able to start an event and invite employees. I could set limits and times on flight purchasing. I also liked that I could recommend a hotel as well.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The admin portal is awful. I cannot view employees and help arrange travel. I cannot assist with declined cards or booking issues.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is keeping all travel expenses in one area. That is about it.

 ### 25. Not a quick turnaround for a T&E app

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily J. | Payroll Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The platform is easy to import but still a bit clunky.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Takes a week to repay any expenses which is the longest it has taken out of the many T&E apps I have managed/used.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They aren't solving any problems - I have to wait a week to get reimbursed for everything.

 ### 26. Halfway satisfied is not enough when I could have done better myself.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe B. | Professional Freelancer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I love that I am able to book everything in 1 portal and not different websites. The 1st time you just need to enter any rewards that you have with hotels, airlines, and car rentals.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I dislike that when I sign in and it is supposed to connect to my travel points and car rentals, some of the information went missing and I wasnt aware until I was already traveling.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time by booking in 1 portal, being able to track everyones expenses in one place, and sending info to finance for reimbursements.

 ### 27. Pretty Decent App

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hank I. | Marketing Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the rewards and the way you're able to plan the trip in advance

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It's not the most user friendly site as far as ease of use

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

travel management for work related trips

 ### 28. Good potential but bugs to be solved

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I like the clean interface. Expense claiming part works pretty well especially automatically creating an expense claim from a receipt file or picture. Is is pretty fast and pretty accurate.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Flight booking is quite buggy especially for complex itineraries, prices keep changing and I cannot make a booking so in the end I book outside of Navan

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expense claims and reimbursement and travel bookings

 ### 29. Trips Are Less Stressful-But Not Great Rewards Programs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The program is easy to use; it relieves a lot of stress when making reservations. Also, my experiences with customer service have been pleasant. They seem to be genuinely concerned about my issues and ready to help.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Trying to get credit card authorization information, after-the-fact, can be challenging. Mostly, when disputing with a hotel. However, this may be due to my company policy versus Navan.

The rewards program where credits are earned from hotel bookings is not fair. Originally, they did not expire and now they do (2024).

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As of now, this is not applicable.

 ### 30. Navan is OK

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Easy to add receipts. You just take a picture and add.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Not easy to tie to projects. Not all projects show in the list.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps expense submission /

 ### 31. Nice experience, Easy to understand and use

Managerial feautures not available on Phone App. Have to login to desktop for the same.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 32. It works, but not always intutive

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It does technically accomplish what it sets out to accomplished

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UI isn't always straightforward and takes some getting used to.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is how I do my expenses and book travel for work. It does do a good job and makes it easy, there are just certain things that are frustrating.

 ### 33. Navan Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will F. | Sales Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

My expenses normally get paid for in a timely manner

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Sometimes i have had to wait a couple weeks for a trip to go through

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps pay for gas on trips i used to not get paid for

 ### 34. Overall, super easy to use!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan M. | Office Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Navan is so easy to use. I love that the info can autopull from the receipt image.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I was a bit confused at first....thinking I needed to press "next" or "submit" or "done" but that wasn't the case. I don't really dislike it, but it's the only thing that took a minute to get.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its solving the time issue - Navan is so quick to use and getting reimbursed for items is much faster than our previous app.

 ### 35. Great company application

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Fast reimbursements into personal account

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Seems if you don't book hotel stays with week advance notice, you miss out on rewards

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides single place to book travel arrangements

 ### 36. Nice UI

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UI and app make it easy to submit expenses.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Wish the calendar integrations were better.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to submit my expenses

 ### 37. Not bad experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaoyu Y. | Data Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Quick response and results after submitting the tickets

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Not accurate support from customer support

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help in spend

 ### 38. Very pretty, not super intuitive

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelica M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I really like that the website layout is pretty straight forward, and that you have buttons that already give you the options or request youre looking to submit.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

What I found difficult about Navan, is that my team only uses it twice a year at most - but one of those times is for a large company event for all 14 hundred employees - and I can never remember what payment information needs to go in, if I'm seeing all possible hotel options chosen by my company or Navan. It makes me hesitant because I'm not really sure what will get rejected.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solving booking, and I would say payment being made directly from my company so I don't have to expense the charge - but the last time I booked a hotel with Navan they charged my personal card directly.

 ### 39. Navan is simple to use but has some bugs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiageng C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

very simple to use. I could book flights/hotels in the same app for business trips. Whenever things arise, I could talk to an agent and get a quick response.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

it is always a pain to export my receipts. It should work based on what it says in the app. But it fails every time when I try to export my receipt from the app. I always have to screenshot the receipts and send them through email.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to book my business trip flights and hotels. My company recommends it and it does work well. I could talk to an agent when my flight is cancelled so they could help me rebook easily

 ### 40. Not sure what you mean by title

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jubu A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I enjoy the convenience of putting in my expenses. Very user friendly app and easy to submit claims. The scanning of the receipts and how it manages to read the data with such accuracy is commendable

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The travel booking tool is very frustrating to use.

- I cannot set my currency to AED, it keeps showing in Australian Dollars, not able to change to AED currency
- Extremely poor and unreliable offline support via phone & chat
- I had a multi-leg trip to book, DXB-IST-BER-CDG-FCO-MXP-FCO. There was no one in Navan to support or guide me, I had try become my travel agent, it was a dreadful experience, trying to figure out how to split the trip, how to ensure there was sufficient baggage allowance, that tickets were refundable
- As global traveller that also regular needs visa to travel everywhere, I need to provide an interim air travel and hotel itinerary. The system does not have this functionality, super annoying and frustrating

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claiming expenses was a very manual process before, your expense management solution has really made life easier

For a straight forward point to point travel, Navan is fine, I need better support when I have a multi-leg trip

 ### 41. User friendly but not the most innovated

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iva-Elaine T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think it is very easy to use and to understand. I like that employees can upload their bank details to receive quick refunds. The app is also easy to use and has a nice set up.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I think there are a lot of limitations. I think there needs to be a better place to view if refunds are have been issued. More control on missing receipts such as blocking a card if a user doesn't upload a certain amount of receipts. Also some of the software that takes a guess at what things are isn't useful. I think that instead you should let the admin customise which suppliers are for gl account, with the option to override when nessacsary. I also think that when exporting to your financial system I don't like how you have to select all transactions. I think once a transaction as been approved you should be able to just do a bulk upload.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has definitally given us more control over what people are using their company card for and is flagging it quickly. I like how it give an actual policy to each area and you can set the spend to it.

 ### 42. Great UX but with shortcomings outside of the US

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The user experience is very good. It's easy to navigate the platform and book your travel. The customer service is very good as well.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

As with all platforms born out of the US, they do not cater well to markets outside of that, Europe being an example.
There are many EU airlines missing from the platform as well as flight options that cater for short trips. Why do you need checked luggage for a 2-day business trip?

I've had to use TripActions since 2018 and they haven't been able to adapt to EU business needs since then. Most times, many users will try and book directly with the airline after a quick search on google flights and expense the flight. Overall, it is a lot cheaper doing it this way than paying inflated prices and unsuitable fare options (checked luggage for a 2-day trip).

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One platform for employees to book their travel. Not much benefit outside of that.

 ### 43. Navan Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Ease of purchase card creations and monitor of employee spend on personal cards.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Lots of technical glitches. Won't sync itemized transactions

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee spend monitoring and travel arrangements.

 ### 44. Pretty good expense app with room to improve

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The Ease of use booking travel. It is easy to find my loyalty brands and shop within those filters.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The expense inputs and receipts import features leave a lot to be desired. I'd like to be able to email receipts to a website address and have them automatically injected.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying travel coordination and the expense management process.

 ### 45. User friendly

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Both travel and expenses are on the same platform

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

When booked flights for the user and her daughter, confirmation did not show the daughter's name. Both booking went under the user's name. In reality, they were under two different names, but it was confusing.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One same platform for both travel and expenses

 ### 46. Not the most intuitive but is good enough

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It does streamline work travel in that it helps me organize my trips, definitely takes the headache out of logistics

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The UX just isn't that pleasant or intuitive. It's good enough but could be so much better. I also think the branding could be sleeker.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I said before, it helps to organize travel and let's me know what I can book versus what I can't. Overall I think it's a very valuable service.

 ### 47. Love the expense entry but there is no way to view totals

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It's very user friendly to upload receipts and input information directly from the receipts

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It's crucial for expense tracking to show totals. Without totals it's only useful for expense submitting but is completely lacking in tracking.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of entering lots of expense transactions

 ### 48. Meh I mean it actually allows me to see my trip info for work trips so that’s nice

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Expenses are remburst fairly quick which is nice

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Seems like a decent format easy to use very nice

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So I can actually see my trip plans it's very nice

 ### 49. Great app for booking, support leaves MUCH to be desired.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan G. | EAE, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

It is great for finding great deals and bookings on flights/hotels/cars. The speed of the booking process is amazing and very useful when on the go. The app is very responsive and solid on this front. Better than Concur/SAP options.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Chatbot default support is a waste of time. The support from humans via chat is also horrendous compared to AMEX or Concur should your trip not go according to plan.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast booking solution for travel reservations.

 ### 50. The app is easy to use-but ensure you follow up if your flight was cancelled!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy F. | Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The app is super easy to use and makes booking travel easy and quick.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I have been chasing them since my flight in December was cancelled and my refund was never received. I had to advocate for myself and reach out to the airline directly and then go back to Navan to have them re-file the refund request.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They make booking work travel easy.
