"Leading global consultant database but focus on Asia can be improved"
4/5
What do you like best about Nasdaq eVestment™?

My company has purchased & currently uses 3 modules (Analytics, Market Lens, OMNI). I am responsible for the overall commercials with eVestment.

Analytics: It is a great tool to get a pulse on market sizing, industry sales trend & perform peer analysis against competing strategies. Appreciate the network effect of having many asset owners & managers on the same platform.

OMNI: Helpful utility service to populate our company & strategy information across multiple databases, although eVestment continues to be our highest priority database.

General points:

1) The database is user-friendly and relatively intuitive for new joiners

2) Our relationship manager has been supportive & responsive to our needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasdaq eVestment™?

Analytics:

1) More data & transparency on Asia will be appreciated. For example, Investor Domicile fields in Asia are limited to Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Other Asia ex Japan.

2) Design lab can be improved. It feels clunky and is typically slow to refresh / load. Morningstar Direct Presentation Studio is a positive example on how eVestment can improve the module.

3) Frequency & timeliness of data refreshes can be improved. I understand this is dependent on data completeness from Asset Managers crossing the 80% threshold. For example, it is 5 Aug 2025 and I still see Q1 2025 data in the Asset Flow page.

Market Lens:

1) Similarly, more data on Asia-based asset owners & RFP activity will be appreciated. My company's business is largely focused on Asia and we have not been able to reap the benefits given the limited data available for sales prospecting. The cost of this module has not been able to justify the spend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing platform for institutional competitive intelligence!"
5/5
What do you like best about Nasdaq eVestment™?

As a frequent user of eVestment Analytics module, I really appreciate both the ease of use on the website and ease of integration (the Excel PowerLink module). High quality data and user friendly interface make it an enjoyable experience and help to concentrate at a task at hand. Also, I've always had a great experience with the Customer Support any time I had any questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasdaq eVestment™?

Sometimes exporting results to excel can take few minutes to load but that's when I prefer to use the excel PowerLink module. Also, Compare Results excel exports have a unique code that enable to update the results easily but I also wish there was a way to modify that report if any slight changes are needed. "Investment Management: Trusted Source for Market and Competitor Intelligence"
5/5
What do you like best about Nasdaq eVestment™?

Nasdaq eVestment is a trusted source for institutional investment, market and competitor intelligence. I like their focus on data quality and delivering actionable insights for asset managers, asset owners and allocators. One of their competitive advantages is their loyal user base and network across asset owners and consultants. The strength and breadth of their user base has resulted in eVestment becoming an invaluable tool for every asset managers' distribution, consultant relations and product development strategy. The Nasdaq eVestment support and success teams are knowledgeable, professional and user-centric. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasdaq eVestment™?

There is an opportunity to enhance vehicle-level data for each investment strategy. I also wish that all traditional, geographic data sets were included in the Analytics platform subscription. Currently, these are purchased a la carte, which can provoke a bit of fatigue after coming to terms with the price tag just to access the platform. With full data sets in Analytics, I think the business case for other add-on modules becomes far easier for users to envision and then advocate for within their organizations. "Tool has it flaws, but overall satisfied."
4/5
What do you like best about Nasdaq eVestment™?

I've been a user for some time now (almost daily) and I like the fact that it remained pretty much the same. Some tools try to innovate and completely change their layouts. I like that eVestment has remained their lay-out.

Customer support is good and responsive. They are willing to help and setup calls if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nasdaq eVestment™?

I am missing new functionalities. The developments in AI could help me as a user to get results more quickly. I forsee some cool new stuff in compare when you can prompt an AI bot with questions. The amounts of data that the AI can work with will result in cool outcomes. I hope that is coming soon.

The data quality/entry is something that can be improved. I know the Asset Manager themselves are responsible but eVestment should push for more and higher quality input from Asset Managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
