Even though I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, the administrative portal can still be tricky to navigate since there are so many controls. I've called into tech support twice and was impressed by how helpful they were and how quickly they picked up. **What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?** We've experienced some accessibility issues (e.g., difficulty downloading or previewing files). However, it may be partly because we primarily utilize Boardvantage as a secure email service and shared document repository. The list of documents can get quite long when uploading materials and it would be nice if there was a way that you could move the documents that were needed for collating down to the bottom of the list of documents or some way to keep it separate and apart from the list of documents that you are using to link. It would be nice if when you are in a folder that it shows you the full path at the top. Uploading the documents, creating the board book, sending notifications, and updating the documents even after they are linked to the board book are all very simple tasks to complete. The outlook meeting information syncing capability is also a huge time saver. I don’t consider myself as tech-savvy and usually avoid all the “bells and whistles”, but through my experience working with Boardvantage so far, I’m actually looking forward to learning more of the features, including signatures for minutes and conducting surveys. The 24/7 customer service is also very nice because often Board members have technical or login questions that are best answered by Boardvantage personnel. Having a live person to speak with directly to handle these in a timely fashion is critical. **What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?** Some of our Board members are not tech savvy so getting everyone to use the tool at Board meetings is challenging. Also, I have not used the Docusign integration yet, but prior to Docusign, there was no easy way to have Board members execute documents. We've received feedback from users that there is a lot of clicking to go between documents. I have found migrating from Director's Desk to Nasdaq Boardvantage to be easy with enhanced features. Beyond the platform, I have found the customer support, in particular our Customer Success Manager Kelly Honke to be an amazing resource as I onboarded to Director's Desk from another board portal. **What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?** As a former Director's Desk user, there are features I miss from DD in Nasdaq Boardvantage. However, the team has always been open to my feedback and suggested features which I greatly appreciate. A restriction would be able to sync documents from Google Drive or move a document from Google Drive. It just takes a lot of steps to get where I want with the documents to upload into Boardvantage. I have never come across a point where the software was down unexpectedly, so I can guarantee my directors and executives that I'll be able to access Boardvantage. For a small company, Boardvantage offers everything we need at a decent price point. The customer service is always very quick and polite, and they are also receive good feedback from our directors whenever they have to reach out to support. **What do you dislike about Nasdaq Boardvantage?** The newest updated version that we're running on is a little bit funky to use, but once you get past the learning curve it's very simple. I dislike that there is poor customer service to let us know when new versions come available. I dislike the admin tab, as it feels very outdated and requires a whole other page to open up instead of being imbedded along with the main page of the software. **Recommendations to others considering Nasdaq Boardvantage:** Boardvantage is a good option for those, like our company, who aren't using too many features. While there are multiple features available, if you're trying to find a way to host board books online and easily accessible, this is a good option. **What problems is Nasdaq Boardvantage solving and how is that benefiting you?** Boardvantage is better than sending out a massive PDF file, as our "board books" often reach in the 500+ page range which would be heavy on many email & server systems. Plus, Boardvantage allows us to edit individual documents quickly, so there is no downtime when making urgent changes. During a request for a report a few months ago, we were told that there was a newer version of the software available and that was the new standard, but we had never been informed that there was an upgrade. ### 44.
