I had an old data source from a statistical yearbook, given to me as fotographs of pdf files. i needed nanonts to read those old tables, and I needed it to understand that sometimes rows of data would not even be along straight lines - for example the yearbook had tables spanning over 2 pages, if the second page was slightly twisted during the process of taking the photograph, the second page would not line up exactly. very difficul for a standard OCR. nanonets had no problem with this setup, and I had to do no extra training or tuning for this to work.
