"API integration platform for developers."

3.5/5

What do you like best about Nango?

I as software developer, we need to integration as our main job is to get the data from different apps twitter linkedin instagram and show insights to the customer , create dashbaorad and everthing , so we need to create api to get the data, so nango helps simply the process, instead of writing complex Oauth code or managing token is done easily here, it refresh the token automatically Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

documentation is bit confusing because the documentation doesn’t always explain everything clearly. It took me some time to figure out a few things on my own, need to research and get help from chatgpt or grok to understand its documentation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

we usually push the data to hubspot, so that our sales team gets leads to call up the customers who visited our konnect insights website, so syncing of data to this 3rd party app becomes easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cost-Effective OAuth Integration for B2B Platforms"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Nango?

I appreciate Nango for its cost-effectiveness compared to other vendors like StackOne, which were significantly more expensive. Nango efficiently helps in integrating with other platforms, acting as an OAuth keyholder, which is superb for managing the OAuth process. This functionality is crucial as it securely holds the OAuth keys during user registration, streamlining our operations and enhancing our B2B AI SaaS platform’s capabilities by centralizing key management. Although the initial setup of Nango was not perfectly smooth, it was manageable and did not pose significant issues. Overall, the value Nango provides through its pricing and keyholder capability substantially supports my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

Nothing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

"Nango helped us to increase security of our assets by controlling multiple in our company workflow."

4/5

What do you like best about Nango?

The most helpful is flexibility of Nango and its effectiveness in controlling multiple integrations. For example, we import our developers from our Slack channel, however we frequently needed to delete and add different developers depending on the project we are working on. It's very easy with Nango to delete all developers and then add only those who are responsible for the current project.

Additional advantage is its flexibility in the way you work with Nango. I am as a manager using browser to monitor and control integrations, but if we have a custom job - I can write a simple JavaScript functions and do everything by in a custom way. The app is pretty easy to start using - github repository contains demo application and for me was not hard to start working. We work with Nango every day and happy with the final result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

Nango is using NodeJS as a server and JavaScript is not the most flexible language to write an effective app, I would prefer to have it in Python and markdown. And of course you have to pay for everything you do, however it is worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nango is solving problem of weak security because of integrations. In software development you never build anything from the scratch - you build your software by using other people packages. When you add integrations with other software your security maybe at risk and you usually forgot about it. For example, if someone is left the company his access right should be revoked. With Nango it is easy to catch up and do not undermine the security of your assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless API integration made easy"

4/5

What do you like best about Nango?

I think Nango does a great job of simplifying API integrations. Rather than having to manage separate authentication, token, and API issues, it offers a single access point that simplifies the process tremendously. Pre-built integrations take a lot of time out of the process, as they do not require custom code for each service to be developed and maintained.

Its handling of automatic token refreshing is a major asset point, eliminating a source of frequent headaches when dealing with multiple third party APIs. It guarantees that integrations are always connected without user interaction, which leads to increased reliability. On the whole, Nango is a revolution when it comes to the ease of API connectivity and it lets me concentrate on being a developer instead of on integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

An area of potential enhancement is the writing of documentation - it is good, but sometimes lacks practical examples or more direct treatment of more obscure edge cases. A step-by-step guide for the specific scenario would be very useful. Additionally, though the pre-packaged integrations save lots of time, there are times that I require an API which isn't currently offered, in which case I still need to implement some custom logic. Overall, Nango is a good platform, but it could be further improved by supporting even more APIs and making the doc more understandable. Although Customer support could have been better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nango makes it much more convenient to integrate multiple third-party APIs by exposing a single, common-way for working with them. Typically, when setting up and maintaining multiple API connections one has to cope with different authentication protocols, token renewal behavior, as well as with API incoherency. Nango handles all of that, so I don't have to write and maintain their own integration code for each service.

It saves much time and human resources, particularly when long APIs are considered. It also lends itself much more elegantly to scaling up, if I need to add a new integration, I don't have to rebuild from the ground up. Besides I do not have to worry about failed API calls or expired credentials because there is built-in token management and error handling. However, it takes away many of the typical pains of interfacing with APIs, allowing me to spend more time on coding and less on debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes API Integration much less painful and faster"

4/5

What do you like best about Nango?

With the wide choice of 400+ third-party API and pre-built connectors, I do not need to deal with the repetitive task of handling oauth flows, rate limits etc. I think this is a platform designed by developers, for developers due to such ease of implementation and integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

While the tool is quite powerful, it also comes with a downside of the steep learning curve for first-time users. There might be some need of custom setup in specific use cases. Luckily I am a technical person, but non-technical users will likely need developer assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nango helped us integrate third party applications by handling auth, token refresh and complex API logics without much hassle. It did save us countless development hours and was very worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not a silver bullet but can help accelerate integrating with 3rd party APIs"

4/5

What do you like best about Nango?

- The support team is very responsive

- Troubleshooting through the platform's logs works pretty well

- Having access to a shared repo allows peeking under the hood when needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

It still requires a decent amount of technical knowledge to integrate with the API, so the time saved by using Nango depend on having a large number of apps integrated there.

To me one of the biggest hurdles of integrating with 3rd party apps is configuring, testing, and oauth approvals, and these can unfortunately not be delegated to a third party service like Nango. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

We help our customers manager their SaaS accounts, which requires them to create and delete accounts when employees join or leave their companies. We automate this process for as many apps as possible so that accounts are managed automatically, which requires integrating with these apps APIs. All these apps use different APIs but can be abstracted by Nango. So we're only implementing the integration code with Nango, and Nango manages the translation into the various 3rd party API calls. This removes implementation work, but we still often need to configure our organization's OAuth settings for many of these apps, and optionally getting approval before the app can be distributed. "Simplifying the Complexities of API Integration"

4/5

What do you like best about Nango?

the built in connectors for discord, shopify and gitHub save me hours. I have all my integrations on one place on the dashboard and can easily monitor everything. Testing without risking real data is great with the sandbox mode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

It could be time saving if the search functionality was smarter for e.g filtering by region or industry. Also there is no built in analytics for the API metrics performance and I am really forced to use third party tools which i dont like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

It saved me from having to manage 15+ APIs in a client project because instead of writing individual code for all of them I use nangos unified interface. It auto syncs data and errors which help me work faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good APIs Integration tool"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Nango?

Nango is a good tool that will help you with integrations of different APIs. The integration is easy, fas and hence saves a lot of time, as it has a very simple and eeasy-to-understand userinterface, but yes it's easy to use and you not need do to roam on the web for guides on how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

Using it for like past 2 months in my development projects, didn't find anything disliking but some compatibility problem could be there with API versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently building a project with different api integrations like discord, shopify and saving a lot of time as I don't have to go anywhere as for different API integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decent API integration tool"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Nango?

The tool has an easy-to-use UI/UX interface and a lot of pre-built integrations which comes in very handy and reduces development time significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nango?

Nango is great in many areas but the range of supported APIs could be broader for the new and upcoming platforms like Notion, RazorPay, PayU etc. which are pretty widely used in geo areas like India Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nango solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nango is a great tool which acts like a central place for integrating and managing multiple APIs, especially when validating and authenticating, token refresh, and scalability. It reduces the need to write and maintain custom integration code for every API, which reduces the development time drastically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
