I liked that they offered many different platforms to refine my skills in my new career that is focused around data analysis and research. Being able to use Kaplan as a study reference and refining our skills in our IT team. I like that it will deduct the hours that you are putting into it and will let you know how many hours you should be spending overall per section and per chapter. I also like how it follows the class and gives you the details on where and went the class will be and the chapters that will be covered in case I forget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about N2K Certify? that you cant zoom in on the app when you are watching a live channel or a recoding of it. The flashcard app has terrible definitions and no pictures; there are not enough worksheets and the class doesn't cover all of the content. it cover just strategies but I would prefer to go over content instead so that I could understand the material better before focusing on the strategy. It makes you really a ton of chapters and then in class you dont even go over it. it doesn't make any sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering N2K Certify: it would be nice to have live chat instead of having to call someone when you need something and be put on hold for like an hour for a simple question. I would have more tutors available on line for the channels and also have a better flashcard application. I wold recommend putting more videos on the high yield topics because they are the most important on the mcat and the book does not always do a good job at explaining or depicting the information necessary for us to understand the material well. I have to use it but sometimes I have trouble loading the page and there aren't enough videos for the high yield material. There doesn't seem to be improving and I dont know what else to do other than write this review. it is very expensive and the books don't do a good job at explaining the material. In fact I have found some straight up error in the book and I'm wondering how many things are wrong that I have not caught. it worries me that there is omitted info or wrong information so maybe I should have just picked exam crackers or Princeton review. the channel also has tutors online or behind the scenes but they are not always helpful and just repeat the same thing that the main tutor just said which is clearly not even helpful since I just asked them to explain exactly what they just stated. I enjoy that this service provides testing for many different topics. This is especially important when evaluating different students of all different ages and levels. When it comes to exam prep, the important thing is seeing how you perform under similar test conditions and SelfTest allows you to be able to mimic those conditions using exam-esque material. The user interface can be a little difficult to manage especially when dealing with younger students who are being tested. Certain students can have difficulty because of their inexperience with exam formats, but Kaplan offers similar to exam question so it is important for them to get close to the exam format. Recommendations to others considering N2K Certify: While Kaplan is centered around test prep, it offers this self test service for exam prep purposes, to see where you may stand in the examination preparation process. You should consider the formatting and material availability and then look at your client base to see if the material matches up to what your most demanded subject reviews are. It happens to be geared more for older students than younger, so we are unable to have a uniform testing program. The benefit is the compilation of different subject material. The testing material is similar to other Kaplan material, so you know it is reliable. They upload a standard of excellence, and this material/service is no different. There is not much I dislike, I just wish they had more extensive material to work with. Recommendations to others considering N2K Certify: The only thing I would recommend is expanding their material. Material is always the issue sometimes with testing, and it is the one thing that is lacking in test preparation. This product helps with that. Use it to self test (as the name suggests)! Sometimes, it is difficult to test objectively or be in an environment to take an exam or prepare for one in the same settings when you actually take the exam.
