I use MyPaint for my small business to create sketch work for social media and my website. I find it very aesthetically pleasing for generating photographs and prints for marketing purposes. I really like the ink and pencil function as it is very detailed and looks very realistic, almost hand drawn. Additionally, the initial setup of MyPaint was very easy. When drawing can do encolouring and regulation. How you want to design, can delete and do again. I like creating new projects, new designs, and adding Pictures. Good job on the change available on Picture. Doing all of the operations is easy. It is useful and easy. Can completing the geometrical drawing, writing on the Picture is entertaining activity. The application has infinite canvases, configurable brushes, support for graphic tablets and a full screen mode without distractions, in addition to a simple GTK + 3 interface. It uses Open Raster as the default file format, but it also supports saving images in PNG or JPEG. What do you dislike about MyPaint? The default hotkeys are different from the standard, but this is simple to fix. Sometimes a bug occurs, and I'm unable to perform any action, but the program still recognizes hotkeys and this happens quite often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering MyPaint: MyPaint is free and lightweight, don't eat your computer resources, easy to learn, different types of drawing tablet works with it, and if you want to use a mouse instead, the line tools are excellent. It`s lightweight, has native stabilization, a wide selection of brushes, you can use both "Line and Curves" and "Inking" to create line art, cheap drawing tablet works fine. Undo feature needs a little more improvement, when selecting brushes sometimes the GUI glitches and you can't draw until you press ESC, rapid motions with drawing tablet create sharp lines instead of smooth. After a few minutes, you'll start to get used to the hotkeys and to configure the brushes to suit your tastes.
