What I liked best is that once I was able to login it was really easy to use. It was integrated well with my class, and it was clear what I needed to do and how to complete the tasks. Mylab is the most useless homework tool and the most unbelievably frustrating and time consuming program a student will ever have to use. The hints are useless, hints SHOULD NOT count against your score because most professors don't teach you how to solve the problems in class and you literally have to rely upon the poorly written and dense descriptions the "Help me solve this" tab provides. Feedback on why you got an answer wrong is literally useless, often along the lines of "check your use of technology", i.e., Microsoft Excel. The program also decides at random where in a calculation you should be rounding, so by the time you enter in your answer, it winds up being 0.1-0.10 decimals off from the "correct" answer.

I have spent entire days trying to attempt to complete 3 statistics questions and found myself unbelievably frustrated and in tears with a failing grade by the end of it, and it is not my fault. The hints are very, very rarely helpful with the problem at hand. You get punished for not getting the answer correct the first time by lowering your score, sometimes even giving a zero for that question. If you get a question incorrect, most of the time it simply tell you its wrong. The platform has been down for 4 days, my students are unable to access the course materials and nothing has been done. Nobody from Pearson is getting back to us, and our local rep tells us that the support team is not responding to his emails either.

My lab has created major problems for the delivery of this course. An online project the students have been working on for 5 weeks and is worth 25% of the overall mark is inaccessible to them because that part of Pearson is down. Nobody is returning our calls or emails. This is an absolute disaster and we haven't heard a word from Pearson. Now, in the last week of this course we are having to scramble and have our students deliver what should have been a 6 week research project in 2 days. From scratch, since all the research they have already done resides within the online platform.
