Geotab is at the forefront of new tech in the industry which helps give out company a competitive edge. The prople are also great always helpful and knowledgable

There is nothing I dislike about Geotab the only frustration I have is with the OEM as the data is not always available to help us and our customers make the correct decision

**What problems is Geotab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main one is proactive maintenance by providing alerts and fault codes so that we can reduce downtime for our vehicles and improve utilisation which is key for our business

The scalability, the consistency with improvement in relevant technologies, the considerations for the Caribbean and LATAM markets. I also appreciate the supportive teams and user friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

While the solutions are great, they aren’t always readily available for the Carribean Market which makes it a bit challenging as a Caribbean Reer Partner.

**What problems is Geotab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our PAM pays close attention to our market needs and makes an effort to accommodate them where necessary. Moving to SaaS has helped us significantly, as we can now offer better pricing positioning and options to our clients that support their cash flow and budget needs.

i love that it keeps all the units up to date and you can see what the fleet board is up to. It also ties in with samsara too and that ties in with geotab

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

I don't like that its not accessible anywhere, I can only access the settings under a work computer. granted I am only at work 3 days a week but I do see that the product is useful

**What problems is Geotab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is being able to track where all of our trucks are and it helps us see if there needs to be maintenance on the trucks and i also love that there are sensors

The monthly fee tariffs are very high and the support isn't able to fix the issue in a reasonable time. Sometimes we need to wait week to fix some bugs

Geotab give to us a powerful telematics solution, market leader and with a lot of features and flexibility. Also the marketing program and the cooperation with Pam are very good

Tracking is easy I can figure out and find the truck a lot faster also I can check for traffic that makes it to give directions to my driver do hen find the place

Actually there nothing I don't like about this is don't any problem with it it a good program to work t k with. T J ere nothing i don't decline this product

When the road what close is check were the driver was and gave him directions on what roads to get it help realy God to get my driver out of the traffic

I use Geotab for daily optimization of my work in a high-end car company. I appreciate its efficiency and easy use. It's quite quick to learn how to use as well.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

Maybe its accessibility, not a lot of people use it at the moment. Due to it needing a cost, perhaps have a free version for people to use with limits.

I use Geotab AI for daily optimization of my work in a high-end car company. It's efficient, easy to use, and quick to learn.

**What do you like best about Geotab?**

I love the platform; it's very user-friendly and intuitive. It's always being updated for better quality of use, which is something I really appreciate. The data it provides is comprehensive, and the platform is very scalable. Clients appreciate how Geotab is easy to use despite its robust capabilities. This ease of use is very valuable to our market, especially since clients don't like a complex tool but love one that understands complexity. The initial setup was very easy too.

Sometimes we get downtime in our region and it's hard to tell if it's Geotab or cell provider related.

Through its GO devices and MyGeotab platform, it offers real-time vehicle tracking, driver safety coaching, engine diagnostics, and fuel management.  It has solid performance, good integrations, and a nice user experience.

There is a need to improve Pricing.  Onboarding needs work, and is cumbersome.   I would like to see more from the AI perspective on automation.  Otherwise its not too bad.

The interface, while functional, can feel overwhelming at first due to the sheer number of options and settings. A more streamlined onboarding experience would make it easier for new users to get started quickly.

Before Geotab, managing our fleet was mostly reactive. Now we can proactively monitor vehicle health, reduce fuel waste, and identify risky driving behaviors before they become costly problems. It has directly reduced our maintenance costs and improved driver safety

I like that Geotab is very practical and effective for fleet management. The interface is very smooth and one of the best, providing good navigation. I can see vehicle information just by hovering over the unit, which makes the interface very useful. Additionally, I find that the configuration is very adaptable.

Everything is pleasant.

User friendly web portal.  Has many options for all the data it collects.  I can run a vast variety of reports and having the physical device under the dash prevents tampering with.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

Not really a dislike but there is so much data it collects, it's easy to get lost looking through it all.  I almost rather have the ability to filter out categories of data I don't use.

Location accuracy is a big part.  Being able to organize state miles is a key component for what we are looking for.  Dispatchers like the real time tracking.

Geotab is a powerful tool in enhancing both safety performance and operational visibility across our fleet. From a safety standpoint, the system provides real-time insights into driver behavior, including speeding, harsh braking, rapid acceleration, and idling. These data-driven insights allow us to proactively address risk, reinforce safe driving habits, and coach drivers before minor issues escalate into serious incidents.

Our challenges with telematics are not specific to Geotab. We are working through implementation and trust/privacy issues with our drivers. Building a plan to manage expectations has helped up but we are not all the way through the finish line.

We are using Geotab to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. The reporting and dashboard functionality enables leadership to make informed decisions quickly regarding safety trends, compliance metrics, and exception-based alerts . I like Geotab because it helped us when we needed a solution. The ELD support is something we really needed, and Geotab allowed us to equip just the vehicles that required it, unlike our Samsara account that required the whole fleet to be on ELD. It's been a great experience so far. We're really liking how easy it is to add new drivers, and the initial setup was very simple.

The ELD and navigation capabilities.  The IFTA tax reporting options.  Fuel entry ease of use.  GPS tracking.  Ability to keep track of mileages in each province and state.

Needs work with the driver logs.  Looking for pre trip inspections to be entered easily.  Looking for a more streamlined process when going off the schedule 1.

Excellent in its ability to create fuel reports with cost and analysis.  Mileage to be shown in miles and kms as well as fuel in litres and gallons for each province and state.

Affordability is a key reason this is so great, along with how easy it is to install in the vehicles it’s needed in. It also makes keeping track of the vehicles so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

It definitely has some bugs that still need to be worked out, especially with the cameras and the way it connects at times. It can also sometimes lag when trying to keep up with locations, depending on the area the vehicles are in.

It makes it so easy to know where everyone is when needed, and it helps keep the safety of staff and customers at the forefront of my mind. With just a few clicks, we can quickly confirm that everyone is where they’re supposed to be.

Easy to track the vehicle and get the telematics information.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

When using the map feature, it will zoom back out to the default view. Would also be nice to customize some of the dashboard views and information. For example, on the max speed dashboard, it shows the vehicle and the recorded max speed for the week but it does not show you the date and time or who was driving when you download the report.

**What problems is Geotab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to reduce speeding events and maintaining the tracking of the vehicles especially in rural areas in order to ensure driver safety.

I like that it’s a plug-and-play device, and that I can track our rental units because it collects data from them. The fact that it’s cost-effective is also a huge plus. With the cost of living going up, my company is always looking for deals.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

The system sometimes crashes or freezes while I’m in the middle of monitoring a route, and it can hinder my work from time to time. That said, overall it’s very manageable for me personally—just those minor issues.

Tracking the whereabouts of our fleet and being able to monitor the health status of all our vehicles benefits me a lot. It allows me to focus on other work tasks.

We use this platform to help our vehicle are driven safely . Our drivers get a good guideline to be safe and improve their driving skills. We have improved our seat belt usesage and Idling time. This program has all features that we need to move to the right direction.

I have not come across anything that I have to mention for dislike. I love this platform.

Trying to run a report for a vehicle to match to a time sheet isn't very easy. It would be easier if I could select a unit and from that place be able to pull a report for where the truck has been based on date ranges.

I use Geotab to track vehicles and match timesheets. It helps manage breakdowns by quickly dispatching a wrecker, streamlines urgent orders by locating nearest vehicles, and simplifies part exchanges between technicians. The support group is useful, albeit sometimes slow.

I use Geotab ELD with Geotab Go devices for our fleet and find it extremely user-friendly and adaptable. The menus are intuitive, and the reports are well put together, which enhances the experience. I also like that Geotab integrates seamlessly with our TMS, and that the initial install and setup were fairly seamless. Our drivers learned the Drive app software easily, and the staff found myGeotab to be fairly easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

An area for improvement would also be the reporting. Reports like 'Missing Pre-Trip Inspection' are calculated on something other than the HOS regulations. That make the report redundant and useless.

Some in our company have navigation issues, but they also have little training, so no fault of Geotab. I love it, zero dislikes.

I really appreciate the support from the Geotab implementation team, which made the setup process smooth and effective. The safety and fuel analysis features, especially the GoAnalytics tool, have been incredibly beneficial. It helps us analyze our fleet's usage more efficiently than our previous provider, by identifying instances and potential accidents that our drivers might miss. The safety and fuel reporting capabilities are particularly useful. Additionally, the integration with Power BI through the data connector is something we use considerably, enhancing our data analysis. Overall, the staff support stands out as a key reason I'd consider choosing Geotab again. As someone who provides customer support, it is valuable to have a comprehensive source of documentation to find solutions to the issues that customers bring to us every day, and that is what Geotab provides. Not only that, but having videos, Geotab Academy, and Geotab Community helps you become more knowledgeable. I think it's great that they don't just provide the product, but also accompany you on your journey to understand the platform and how the devices work, in addition to the support they offer.

Personally, I like the platform because it's easy to interact with and I like its design.

What I don't like is that email and phone support is limited to only a few languages, which can sometimes be frustrating when you need help quickly.

**What do you like best about Geotab?**

Geotab has been on the forefront of innovation in telematics for some years now and is a leader when it comes to providing robust data analysis and ensuring that their products are compliant with the latest governmental regulations (such as HOS/ELD, IFTA, CARB, etc.).  Their ELD solution works well, and I've seen a number of fleets roll it out and use it effectively over the years for their hours-of-service tracking.

The amount of integrations that work with Geotab is vast, and very useful for things like new rollouts or making systems that a fleet already has in use for other things (e.g. maintenance management) talk with Geotab's telematics software.

The very best part of Geotab in my book is the Geotab Community, where you can collaborate with other people using the software to get (usually) helpful answers to questions that you might not find just in a user manual or training video.  I use this as a reference constantly, and I appreciate the friends and colleagues I've been able to work with more through the Community over the past several years since it was created.

And, of course, Geotab Connect is easily the best networking event in the industry.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

Personally, I do not like the UI changes that Geotab has made over the past 5 years or so.  The lack of color and switching to tiny icons and fonts that all look similar at first glance is challenging from a troubleshooting standpoint.

I find that their software is less intuitive and user-friendly than it used to be.  They have overcomplicated features (such as the Groups Filter) that worked perfectly fine before and that nobody (I know of) was asking to have changed, while ignoring (or at least not seeming to prioritize) developing features that would have added practical functionality that people have been asking about for years (e.g. being able to report on HOS features as Exceptions).

MyGeotab seems to run more slowly for certain tasks (e.g. running reports) than it used to.

So, the UI updates with complications make it feel a bit like adding whitewash to a solution rather than providing an actual refresh.

It's still a very good system overall, and I have seen it work very well for nearly every fleet I've worked with, but there are certainly aspects that customers will find frustrating if they do not have assistance during implementation to ensure their stuff is set up well and in a way that matches their safety and compliance goals, etc.  (A new fleet will do well to find an exemplary reseller who can provide top-notch support or hire a consultant to get things set up well from the start.)

Geotab is providing an enterprise-quality fleet-management solution to companies around the world so they can track their vehicles' locations, drivers' safety, and other metrics such as engine faults.  This benefits me, as a consultant, because my job is to help people understand and get the most out of their Geotab solution, and so they hire me to help them use the Geotab system more efficiently.

The product flexibility. From rules engine to SDK and IOX, Geotab has proved that a "one size fits all" is not enough. There's always specific needs that wouldn't be met if the ecosystem was static.

On the other hand, I love how much Geotab cares about listening to us. It's evident with Geotab Community, product research programs, and other interactions such as the ones with support management and signature team.

I believe that today it is complicated to take advantage at global experience. Some needs and challenges may have been faced by someone in other part of the wolrd, but sometimes it feels like we have to develop our own solutions from scratch.

On the other hand, when Geotab grew more geotabbers have joined the company. That brought us the opportunity to have local representatives that now speak our languages and are closer to us, which is great. However, it is still a challenge to ensure that the local support can be effective and efficient (not only technical support, but general help around our company strategies and other key needs).

There is still the essence of a family run business and they treat the resellers with humility and personal care. They're still not so cold in corporate and there's that sense of family when you are a reseller of this product. Of course the product is so reliable and cutting edge it's just like I always say the George Foreman grill set it and forget it it just works

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

There is more and more complications seeming to come we're getting more and more mired in rate plans and billing issues that are inflexible and seem to take forever to resolve with a dozen emails literally to get things fixed or underway the way we would like. The new go plan seems to have some merits but seems to be extremely rigid and inflexible. I would love to once again have a better explanation of the long-term view of why this go plan seems to be the only way forward. Our biggest competitor goes in with a low priced option and then starts to slowly get more stickiness with the customer and I firmly believe we must have this option easily available with the base plan and then add to it add to it as necessary. I feel that the management seems to have this high-minded idea that only quality customers are what they want and quality means somebody who would want the goal plan and if they don't want go plan then they're probably not desirable as a customer which I very much disagree with. The Profit made on base plan is just as important to the overall bottom line as profit made on the go plan. The product works great my partner account manager is great there seems to be more red tape and more confusion creeping in month by month unfortunately.
