MyFMS is a farm management system built on a working South African farm (Mpande Farms). Workers log in each morning on any smartphone with the farm code and a PIN, follow a timed task list and tick off each task – so the owner sees who did what, and when, even when away from the farm. Broilers: bird age, live birds, daily deaths, weights against target, feed programme, vaccines and the selling window for every chicken house. Layers: egg collection in trays of 30, laying % against target for the hens' age, egg stock and sales. Incubators: temperature and humidity checks, turning, candling, lockdown and hatch-day tasks for chicken, duck, guinea fowl, quail, turkey and goose eggs, plus hatch rates. Cattle and goats: morning and evening head counts, vaccinations, dipping and deworming reminders, sick-animal reports with photos. Crops: 29 ready-made crop programmes with fertiliser, spraying, weeding and harvest tasks, spray withholding checks, harvests and produce sales. Owners get instant email alerts and WhatsApp buttons for high deaths, underweight birds, low laying, incubator problems and sick animals, plus a morning brief, an evening report and 7/30-day reports.
