This web application is essential for any Ethereum token holder, the platform allows sending or receiving Ethereum tokens or ETH based on ERC20. Through the application, you can manage your physical wallet like nano ledger, trezor, or any other physical device that serves as a means to store cryptocurrencies. Myetherwallet also allows you to create your own wallet in a file that the website itself generates using random algorithms that calculate your private key using javascript. Thanks to this application, we can send and receive custom tokens, and although entering them manually can cause confusion, this was resolved with the new interface we recently introduced, making the site much easier to understand for new users, while allowing its use. Honestly, since the last update, its biggest flaw was the interface, which could be a bit chaotic for those who entered for the first time or used a web wallet. Another negative point, although it is not a fault of Myetherwallet, is that it is a website that hackers constantly try to access, so it is recommended to check the DNS and HTTPS certificates when accessing it. Recommendations to others considering MyEtherWallet: I recommend that when you use Myetherwallet, make sure you are using the original website, so check that the domain and certificate are correct. Once this is done, verify that you send the tokens to the correct address because if you make a mistake, you cannot undo this action and it will result in the loss of funds. I needed to be able to send custom tokens for which a wallet has not been developed and that must be managed through an Ethereum smart contract. The MyEtherWallet service allows you to manage your Ethereum portfolio (and the ETH tokens) as well as send coins from your personal wallet. The service offers support for file-based wallets and physical wallets (offer greater security against theft). One of the best features of the service is that it has a very friendly interface which is essential in the world of cryptocurrencies where everything is so complicated and it is vital to simplify the management to avoid losses. The application also has support for physical wallets such as "Trezor" or "Nano Ledger", which we must previously connect to our computer using a USB cable. We can also highlight the possibility of using MyEtherWallet on our computer locally and without accessing the internet to manage our wallet and sign shipments without risk to security, the signed file can be sent later to the online version of MEW to propagate the transaction. I do not like the old version of MEW because it is very complicated to use for people with little experience in the world of cryptocurrencies so I recommend you make use of the new version that has a much more user friendly interface. Using MEW it is much easier to send ETH, before MEW I had to use a command console to interact directly with the "smartcontract" of the token I needed to send, since I use MEW everything is much faster and simpler, in addition to insurance because the graphic interface is very friendly and allows you to verify everything before confirming the transactions. I like this cryptocurrency wallet first for the ease of use, then for the security and stability that it has. It is a wallet that throughout its history has been very secure allowing cold storage through a private key, currently has many more forms of access and all with a high level of security. Also, I like it because it allows the user to set the amount of commission he wants to pay for a transaction. At the same time it allows storing and transferring all existing ERC-20 tokens in the network. I also like the new image and design of the entire platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about MyEtherWallet? I do not like some visual aspects of the I consider that they still need to improve the platform at the level of functionalities, such as making the collection of the commissions of token transactions from the ERC-20 token itself.
