And IDE with great potential lost to Intellij **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Paryush J. | Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2022 **What do you like best about MyEclipse?** I liked the simplicity of the IDE, no fancy stuff but works just fine. Specially the legacy application or the once where we required to use external server, Eclise or MyEclipse is best. **What do you dislike about MyEclipse?** One thing which made me move to Intellij from MyEclipse was the dark theme, even after trying lot of external dark theme plugins, nothing worked for me and being a fan of dark themes, IntelliJ just pulled me towards it. **What problems is MyEclipse solving and how is that benefiting you?** Now a days I only use MyEclipse for very old java applications. Specially if I want to run some application on external tomcat or some other server, otheriwse I only prefers intellij. ### 2.
