Teams can replace scattered spreadsheets with one central record for every asset: IT equipment, vehicles, machinery, tools, furniture, office and audio-visual equipment. Getting started is quick. You can add assets manually or import them from Excel or CSV, and attach photos, serial numbers, purchase details, and costs. My Assetrack generates asset tags with your own prefix and prints barcode or QR labels, so anyone on the team can scan an item with their phone and open its record right away, even in the field. Every important change is logged in the asset’s event history: check-outs, returns, reservations, leases, repairs, transfers, and disposals. Assets can be assigned to people or locations with due dates. Built-in reservations prevent double bookings, and email alerts flag overdue items. Assets can be organized by site, location, category, and department so teams can find what they need without chasing colleagues. My Assetrack also handles one-time and recurring maintenance scheduling with email reminders, plus warranty tracking. It makes physical audits faster: you scan labels instead of working through paper lists, record GPS coordinates and notes, and lock completed audits to protect the record. Reports show assets by site, location, category, warranty status, and who currently holds each item. Access is managed through security groups (such as Administrators, Asset Managers, Employees, and View Only), so each person sees and edits only what they should. My Assetrack is fully cloud-based, so there’s nothing to install, and updates arrive automatically. The Free Plan covers up to 250 assets and 3 users, with no credit card required. Paid plans add unlimited users with no per-seat fees, plus phone-based scanning, and you can scale your asset limit as your organization grows.
