Muster is staff scheduling and payroll software that automates roster creation and generates payroll-ready hours. The system collects staff availability and matches shifts to employees based on availability, qualifications, and hours worked. Hours are calculated into ordinary, weekend, public holiday, and overtime categories for payroll processing. Managers invite staff through a single code, eliminating manual data entry. Staff input weekly availability, which repeats until updated. Managers add shifts, and the system auto-generates rosters by matching employees to roles. Hours export in payroll-ready formats such as CSV files. Features include automatic shift matching, a calendar view for schedules, staff-initiated shift swaps, and digital clock-ins. Time tracking accounts for overnight shifts that span multiple days. The software operates on flat-rate pricing regardless of team size. Data is stored on servers located in Australia.
