Mustatil Legacy is a local desktop AI and GIS application for large-image detection, annotation, model training, and geospatial export. It is the permanently free version of the software Mustatil. It is version 5.6 of Mustatil. The app is designed for workflows involving large raster images, satellite imagery, GeoTIFF files, archaeology, remote sensing, mapping, and computer vision datasets. It allows users to run object detection on large images, review and annotate detections, manage classes, export results, and prepare datasets for AI model training. Mustatil Legacy runs locally on your Windows device. User-selected images, models, annotations, project files, logs, and exports remain on the local computer unless the user manually shares them outside the app. Key features include: \* Large image and GeoTIFF detection workflows \* YOLO-based tiled detection \* Detection preview with class filtering \* Annotation tools with editable class selection \* Add and delete annotation classes \* Export detections and metadata to GeoPackage \* Export crops for dataset creation \* YOLO training dataset preparation \* Local project folders for images, labels, annotations, exports, and weights \* Offline-first desktop workflow \* Support for AI/GIS research, archaeology, remote sensing, and mapping tasks Mustatil Legacy is intended for researchers, GIS users, remote sensing workflows, archaeology projects, and users who need local AI-assisted image analysis without relying on cloud processing.
