As an interactive workspace, Mural enables teams to create persistent visbility that builds alignment, while leveraging human-centered AI that accelerates teams to reach their outcomes faster. Whether it's building better products more in line with customer demand, creating more seamless marketing campaigns that drive pipeline, or collaborative selling motions that close deals faster, teams are using Mural to drive revenue growth more intelligently. The primary target audiences for Mural all have their hand in go-to-market motions, including product management & engineering teams, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. These teams often face challenges aligning their efforts and communicating effectively, hindering their ability to respond to market demands quickly enough to gain a competitive advantage. Within Mural, teams can leverage tools and expert-designed methods that increase their speed: to visualize their ideas, share insights, and collaborate in real time, regardless of their physical location. Key features of Mural include customizable templates by role or function, diagramming tools, intelligent workflows and methods, and AI infused throughout to help teams move faster from ideation to execution. ## Mural Reviews
 ### 1. Does what I need as a UXer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lia M. | Ux reseacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Easy to use, but best part is I can put a list of bulleted points and copy paste then into a mural and it will automatically create a bunch of stickies.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing that I dislike at the moment. For a time they removed the ability to copy paste bullets into stickies but brought it back.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving me a space for affinity mapping so I am able to better sort and categories large amounts of data.

 ### 2. MURAL is a sticky notepad plus on steroids

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamal V. | Business Strategy Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

Mural help to categorize our ideas with divisions based on our needs
The canvas provides various tools to highlight, poll, marker,Voting
Collaboration of team to do brain storming with simultaneous inputs
Simple Access with a URL or download as pdf.
Sending notifications from the dashboard

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Updating the progress using the date and color
Having board like structure to show different versions of the work performed by time
If the templates can be organized by folder and they are suggested

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with hands-on simultaneously multiple members saves time.
The canvas helps in having meaningful conversations using multiple examples illustrated
Having a repository of mural boards for reuse of data to save time

 ### 3. I use Mural almost every day with geographically-distributed groups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Dairy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I use Mural almost every day for brainstorming (I love the variety of templates!), Agile Retrospectives (adding fun images), project planning (yeah mind maps!) and work organization. The Infinite Canvass means I never run out of space and the ability to save objects to my own library gives me flexibility and efficiency in quickly building out a workspace.

Having a workspace where everyone in the meeting can contribute in real-time helps make the meeting more productive. The voting capability also lets me run Lean Coffee sessions for my Retrospectives, identifying and facilitating discussions of the issues that most resonate with my team.
I also really appreciate the “facilitator super powers” that let me control the flow of the meeting when I need to do that including making the contributions anonymous, asking people to follow me through the Mural, and locking objects I don’t want people to change.

All of these capabilities provide me with a tool that is invaluable when I facilitate collaborative sessions with geographically-distributed groups. In the work-from-home culture many of us now live in, a powerful online collaboration tool is vital, and Mural does a great job of fitting that bill.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I wish there was an "UNDO" capability. If you aren't careful, it is easy to accidentally move objects around. Being able to quickly "undo" would be a great improvement.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary business problem is how to collaborate with a distributed team in an efficient and effective way. Simply talking is, by its very nature, single-threaded. Mural allows a multi-threaded conversation to happen in real-time AND/OR asynchronously.

 ### 4. Best place to do retrospectives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda M. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love the feature of submitting anonymous feedback, different color-coded sticky notes and lots of creative content adding capabilities. Thety are awesome. Also admin has a lot of control over the board.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I have used mural board a lot of times. I didn't find any issues or any disadvantages from using it. In fact it is suggested across our company for collaborative space

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use mural for all meetings that require feedback from employees. its anonymous feedback helps a lot! also the feature to make the comments invisible to others

 ### 5. Helpful templates for a variety of use cases.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural provides valuable templates to get you started in a variety of project types. For instance, I've used it to brainstorm with colleagues, plot out a sitemap, gather feedback, and put together communication plans. It's very intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I truly can't think of any features that I dislike!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It supports idea generation, information organization, and a spot where my team can collaborate on communication plans.

 ### 6. Mural has really made a positive difference to my collaboration with colleagues / stakeholders.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love visual aids! Mural is such a user-friendly tool! Many things can be done, such as eliciting requirements, adding screenshots, commenting on them, etc. There's no need to try other collaborator tools from the competitors ;).

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

When working with multiple people on a Mural board, if one of them uses the Undo button, that will have a negative impact on the work as it will remove not only the things (e.g., writing, post-its) of the person that clicked on Undo, but of everyone interacting with that board at that moment in time ->> so one click, multiple people's work affected.

Also, depending on where I'm using Mural - whether via the work environment (Citrix) or by using my Microsoft credentials, the experience can differ, the first one involving a lot of 'timing out', need to refresh the page, not quite a live session, unfortunately. This doesn't matter if I've joined the board as a visitor or signed in.

On a separate note, I am unable to submit my screenshot due to an error you're presenting on page (I used both png and jped files): 'Something went wrong. Please try again in a few.' I'm still expecting you to honour the voucher offer. Surely, you can check I'm a user. Happy to send a screenshot another way (without confidential details).

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working from home has advantages and disadvantages; however, my collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders would suffer greatly without using Mural at home. Way easier to explain things when sharing screens!

 ### 7. Mural is great for collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hema B. | Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is a great tool for collaboration and brainstorming. I liked the fact that it had a rich set of templates that can be availed right away. Mural's interface is designed to be friendly to users and hence it was very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Mural allows leveraging a maximum of 5 (?) templates. This is understandable given that I am not a paid subscriber of the tool.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Used for Brainstorming. Mural enables ideation whereby ideas can be quickly dumped/jotted down on a broad canvas and can be revisited later for elaboration

Note: I used it as part of my course at IU's Kelley School of Business and it was effective.

 ### 8. GREAT AND EASY TO USE

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Simple and effective helps with my ideas

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Mural is a good tool to work with no issues

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business processes

 ### 9. I love introducing Mural to my non-design major peers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jada W. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

mural is easy to use, is suitable for basic mapping all the way to complex strategizing, has helpful frameworks included, and makes team planning more interactive!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I don't like that i'm unable to have more than three active murals without upgrading. I wish that I could make the sticky notes any color through the use of the color spectrum tool.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

access to more intentional planning

 ### 10. Efficient Online Collaboration App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hany I. | Technology Trainer/Integration, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

MURAL is efficient for online collaboration among team members and cross-functional projects. It's easy to use and has seamless integrations with various applications and services like Zoom, Microsoft Azure, Google workspace, Unsplash, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

It's easy for members and admins and has a well-designed user interface.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There is almost nothing that I dislike about Murals. However, it would be better if users could customize, add, and remove items from the fixed menu on the left side of the project space ( The Murals).

**Recommendations to others considering Mural:**

Start with the Getting Started guide under the help menu on the project space.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Murals application helps me collaborate with teammates and cross-functional teamwork members on various projects. The application facilitates remote brainstorming sessions and design thinking sprints. The project space has the tools and third-party applications we need to organize our work and achieve project goals.

 ### 11. Great tool to present an idea in a structured way.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pascal D. | Senior innovation advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love Mural's templates and to share my own templates to the team. These make great tools to standardize our practice across the division.

Compared to a competitor software, Mural was more easily adopted by the members of the team.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I would like to make more professional-looking graphs and images in Mural. Also, I would make it easier to manipulate content to group, crop, change dimension, improve, etc. in order to play with a lot of elements.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an innovation team where members come from very different backgrounds. Mural helps us to speak the same language and get on the same page. Otherwise, we'd sit on meeting for a long period and won't reach agreement.

 ### 12. intuitive and quick tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renée F. | Manager, Marketing IT & Analytics, CIO

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2022

 ### 13. Mural is the perfect solution for remote employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dayana P. | Senior Manager, Channel Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It has an interactive whiteboard, where all team members can add notes in real time about the project, so we can leave our ideas and views. It also has role-based access, which allows us to control who sees the information and who does not, also allows us to monitor and track projects easily and thus know the progress of activities.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Although it is necessary that it is cloud-based, the truth is that when some users do not have a good internet connection, the whole application slows down. It took me several attempts to integrate the applications that I use daily, especially asana and all google applications.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is being very useful throughout the organization, because it allows all the work teams in all departments to be in sync regarding the activities and projects they have. It is a very easy to use, dynamic and interactive software, where all team members can exchange ideas, make notes, send and receive documents and files and much more.

 ### 14. A grate tool for facilitators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorena M. | UX consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The facilitator tools helped me cross the distance generated by the remote, transmitting emotions through emojis and animations.

I always used Mural. #MuralFan.

Currently, my work is remote. Before the pandemic, 70% of my work was virtual, and I was already used to Mural. I don't know what it would be like. It's a great tool to encourage the teams and clients.

A mural is an excellent tool for breaking the ice, generating conversations, and organizing successful meetings.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes the mouse movement has delayed. I don't like to use it on the flows because the connectors don´t work well. It's hard to put the connectors where I want.

**Recommendations to others considering Mural:**

Use it.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For more than 3 years I have been using Mural to run remote meetings and workshops. This allows me to connect with clients around the world. Design incredible boards with their tools and standardized my boards with my brand.

 ### 15. Mural Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It's easy to track candidates in recruitment by colour and to break up information into small chunks. I like how multiple people can also collaborate at the same time. It's also quick and easy to learn and I felt comfortable with it quite quickly after joining my employer. I learned this week about holding CTRL so you can drag and drop information and I use that feature a lot now. I also like the different icons that mural offers such as exclamation marks and warning signs, I use these to flag certain things that are important on the mural I am working on. It's handy to be able to resize the shapes and titles in mural also so I can draw attention to particular areas as needed. For larger murals the outline feature is also useful as we are finding it is getting harder to track the different frameworks and where they sit within a mural. Before working with my employer I hadn't seen any similar tools to mural but I would defintely recommend future employers to use it going forward. Even when I am working outside of my role as recruitment I use mural across the board and know my colleagues do too.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I wish the frameworks were bigger. I find I am having to drag a lot of them out to make them bigger when I run out of space. Also the invites to add people don't work sometimes. I think there is a lot of features our company don't use so I would like to get more time to explore them. I find the search button doesn't take me easily to what I am looking for, for example it might tell me that there is a sticky note in the mural with that person's name on it but it is hard to get mural to actually take you to that location. It seems only mural owners can edit the size of a framework, it would be good if anyone could make amendments to the mural in this way.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The colour coding is great and I can see in live time when my colleagues make updates, it is also very handy for client brainstorming calls to capture multiple ideas. I am able to separate the different roles I am working on and also track ones I have successfully closed. I like that I can see all the positions I have ever worked on in one place. Every day I keep it updated and take the management through the recruitment updates by sharing mural on my screen. Mural is also very fast and requires such little information to be useful for the user.

 ### 16. Government of British Columbia

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Great support and training services. Mostly easy to use and doesn't require a huge learning curve. I like the ease of access and navigability of my Murals.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Design and function is still a bit clunky and unpolished. It would be nice if the key functions were the same as MS programs, so we wouldn't have to learn new habits (e.g. drag to select a group of objects). I would REALLY like to be able to use different fonts and text sizes within a sticky note. I would also like to be able to define the size of the font so it doesn't automatically grow/shrink when I resize the sticky.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of brainstorming on Mural. It's great to be able to take a jumble of information and start to structure it. It's been a great tool for online collaboration and we use it for all of our synchronous and asynchronous collaboration.

 ### 17. Mural for business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

By providing a digital canvas with templates it is a useful tool for business and creative purposes.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Some functions are hard to use and navigate through the canvas without a mouse is hard to manage.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gather ideas, record and share discussions. Create a story with flows where participants can share without a format. For instance it is better than Powerpoint or smilar tools.

 ### 18. Amazing Organizational App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

UI is great and straightforward - The options tailor to different preferences/needs.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Shortcuts for keys should be made, Otherwise, great app.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing thoughts about professional development as well as project.

 ### 19. Think Mural when its virtual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramanathan Y. | Agile Coach, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Readymade templates where you can create your stuff. Very user-friendly UI to work with and make our stuff. Very useful for remote trainings ,which gives a classroom feeling

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

As of now i don't have anything, but the invite to workspace and those stuffs can be bit more user friendly, the text and visuals addition should be more easy as its difficult now to switch over

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it gives us a readymade template which helps the rework time and also helps to work efficiently to brainstorm and gather ideas through collaboration over virtual mode

 ### 20. The Versatility of Mural

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne T. | Senior Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like Mural because it can be used for so many different applications. It is easy to share links for others to join your Mural, and its controls are intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I dislike having to zoom in and out of the Mural. It can be a little cumbersome at times. I've accidently resized an object on the Mural itself a few times. The interaction could be improved.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mural to problem solve and hold retrospectives. It is also a good way to get feedback in an anonymous way. The templates are vast and very helpful so that I don't have to start from scratch each time.

 ### 21. Tool that provides you with another pair of hands

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It's a tool that is an extension of a creative mindset. MURAL is helping to streamline your thoughts coherently, preparing your creative sparks to find a way to become lofty ideas in a structured way. You need to start using it and see the real magic.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There is nothing about MURAL to dislike, and there is also a stand-alone app so you can work offline on your projects.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MURAL helps in the development of own ideas, teamwork brainstorming sessions, pitch sessions for a customer or visualization of problems that need to be solved quickly and efficiently.

 ### 22. Mural has made a huge difference in my presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathya W. | A, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The user-friendly navigation of the board and the ability to add content to it. Mural is very versatile and engaging to the user.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I would like to see more colors added for the full board background and not only the current four options. Nothing else I can think of, is very complete.

**Recommendations to others considering Mural:**

Make sure to watch Mural's short training clips, they are super helpful on how to navigate and optimize your experience!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better and more organized presentations for the team and the ability to vote and participate anonymously are amazing! Mural adds the ability for a more creative and personal touch.

 ### 23. Workshop innovation project of wooden furniture companies in a municipality near Medellín

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar I. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Live interactivity during in-class workshop sessions allows for more effective feedback

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It is not very functional with the mobile application. It is better to use a tablet or a pc

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prioritize ideas and adequately define the type of user that you want to serve with the proposed solution

 ### 24. MURAL review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara H. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

MURAL has hundreds of business type templates for us to gain ideas or at least get a user to a starting point and idea of the best representation of their content

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I do not have any downside with them. Maybe a clearer explanation of how licenses work and what free trial is all about vs guest and members.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my team, we conduct our team meetings in this platform which allows those meetings to be more interactive than before and not just listening (maybe not even that)

 ### 25. Digital Whiteboard

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Launa P. | Fundadora e #Executora, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love the feeling of Mural- it's like a vast whiteboard or flipchart that my team can use to collaborate on projects. We've been working remotely for a while now, and one of the things we miss the most is brainstorming together. It's just impossible to replicate that feeling using Zoom, but with Mural, we come close. And another thing I appreciate is that you don't need an acc or anything to post on there. Anybody can join in and add their thoughts, which makes collaboration much easier!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The learning curve for Mural is minimal and uncomplicated. I understood how to use the software within an hour, and my group was prepared to depart soon afterward. Having used the app for just one meeting, I already had a clearer understanding of how to optimally organize the board compared to other apps available on the market.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

sing Mural because it makes communication much more accessible, both with people who are near me and those who are far away. It's great for exchanging ideas and is a better option than PowerPoint or spreadsheets.

 ### 26. I don't write reviews, but Mural, holy c**p! Best tool i've ever added to my arsenal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Finlay W. | Marketing agency, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is the most intuitive platform I have ever used. When you first login, you can just start creating, if you think a button should do X, it will do X. You don't need to watch any tutorial because everything does exactly what you think it should do. Double click surely creates the same shape you've been using right? Yep. Surely you don't have to erase the entire line? Nope, just one click.

It's just awesome.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

One tiny bug I've found, when creating a text box, you have to fill it with contents before you can remove the background, otherwise the workspace needs refreshing.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's the best mind mapping tool i've used by far. I can lay out all my ideas without restrictions.

 ### 27. Mural is a very effective tool in conveying messages to colleagues.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mae S. | Services Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

What I like best is how you can put lots of things to show our performance which is really helpful when doing daily performance review.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Muras is very easy to use. There are unlimited options, ways and templates to use to achieve your goal of collaboration in a group

Perhaps some people who are initiating to facilitate with Mural have some difficulty as it is a whiteboard, however, the templates helped a lot to decrease the learning curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cécile R. | Formatrice en Stratégie Digitale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It took us all three minutes to "teach" everyone how to use Mural in a vast online meeting to assist participants in capturing ideas collaboratively. Quite perceptive! We used it for off-site teams to make vision boards for brainstorming ideas to use later. Once again, even those with no prior digital knowledge can pick it up and run with it.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Several functions require in-depth familiarity with the program to be used effectively. Keeping permissions updated is tedious and time consuming to ensure that work can be copied and scaled efficiently.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The mural is helping me find ways to enhance the work environment at a major company. Mural allows me to host focus groups of 6-8 people to learn about users' routines, problems, and ideas.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is great for collaboration or for individual work as well. I love the variety of templates they have on hand available to help your work process. I also found the group workshops (that we utilized it for) was fun and informative experience.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Alongside others, I found it difficult to move around the workspace space. I couldn't figure out how to increase or decrease the size, or zoom in and out without making errors on the workspace or potentially moving somone's design or board.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The workshops that my company set up in particular, are great for using Mural. As mentioned above, the amount of people that are able to join is large, which helps. And certain little features, like music and a stopwatch, are fun tools to utilize when working/collaborating in a virtual environment.

 ### 35. Amazing tool for virtual meet

Nothing about the tool is wrong, but having multiple users editing simultaneously can get busy on screen.

Allow a project team to brainstorm ideas and add notes in a shared space

 ### 37. My favorite tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The flexibility and user interface are my favorite things about mural. It is so easy to teach others how to use the platform, and the freedom you have to make dynamic visuals makes it enticing to others,.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

While there are no downsides to mural that I can think of, the only thing I would improve is the amount of templates available.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is helping solve the issue of a shared work environment that functions in virtual and physical spaces.

 ### 38. MURAL is a collaborative tool that can be used asynchronously or in real time.

I like the many icons that are available. I also like seeing the cursors move around the page.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I would want more reactions available to the user. Moving the frames around if they are not locked down. Multiple Murals to collaborate on, hard to keep track of them all!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My office is in a hybrid space, and this tool allows us to collaborate when we are all sitting in a hybrid situation. This helps with planning, brainstorming and whiteboarding.

 ### 39. Our essentials for working remotely

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn M. | Manager, Event Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I really enjoy being able to use the Mural whiteboard remotely, since it allows me to do what I love most with my office whiteboard. Being able to have a meeting in my office, explain our schedule to the board, so everyone can follow along, and then come up with a plan that everyone can support is great. Since the Mural has many advantages over a standard whiteboard, we intend on continuing to use it even after the pandemic ends. It doesn't offer as much layout flexibility, but there are numerous helpful extras included.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When developing business models and solutions, I can collaborate remotely with clients from around the globe. Because the Mural is an ongoing project that can be used as a report or a filing cabinet for ideas and documents, time is saved.

 ### 40. Extremely useful, simple to use and versatile!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrique M. | Agile Coach, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

MURAL is an open space that allow your imagination to fly free and create collaborative tools and environments. It contains lots of tools to ensure everyone collaborates with confidence and easiness

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes its performance is a little bit sluggish or not properly synchronized between all users, and it's difficult to understand why it who's being affected, same for invitees without login requirements who experience connectivity issues

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MURAL helps me a lot to use various approaches and ensure everyone can participate and collaborate during sessions, making it easier to include everyone and create safe spaces

 ### 41. Powerful yet simple to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pietro Blu G. | Science Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

MURAL has a very clean and intuitive user interface, even for new users it is easy to understand where the various tools are, which makes it very suitable for use in schools. In fact, the platform offers teachers and students a free plan with unlimited boards and 100 members per organization.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Maybe the absence of an Italian localization for the user interface could be a drawback for the use in Italian schools, but otherwise I don't feel like pointing out things that I find unpleasant or problematic.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I found MURAL very useful for brainstorming sessions and for encouraging group work in my classes. The students were immediately comfortable with it, which saved training time and defined a very fast learning curve.

MURAL is a fun and useful tool that is very powerful for doing workshops, brainstorming and organizing ideas. My favorite part about MURAL is how easy it is to share with others. **What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is an excellent tool for collaborative exercises like brainstorming and design thinking.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

A more diverse range of template designs can be added to the repository

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes group exercises more exciting and more interactive. Some of the templates provide a good base to formulate plans on.

 ### 44. Mural - whiteboard make the work easie

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim Weitzmann P. | IT-supporter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

In a few instances, the ability to export to an image has proven useful. There is minimal to no learning curve associated with its use. Some group members may be unfamiliar with collaborative tools, but everyone can quickly learn the fundamentals. Before inviting people to the meeting, I would include a slide with the essential features. Before transferring them to Mural, you should either demonstrate the basic functionality using the hardware your audience may use Mac, mouse, and trackpad or determine if anyone has specific configurations.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Digital sketching as a collaborative tool would be greatly improved if all of its capabilities could be used with a tablet pen.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is primarily used in group problem-solving sessions. It enables users to view the real-time thoughts of others and to share their own.

 ### 45. Very useful application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It's amazing to carry out a worksop

Advanced tools are unavailable like shapes and swimlanes in creating a flowchart.
Advanced templates can be useful.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is helping us to collaborate and keep data at a single platform
Thus people leaving organisation dont really need to tranfer their data to others

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MURAL is investing in murals as long-term assets, which helps us to improve our info organization, through folders and infinite canvas, for example.

 ### 47. Collaboration without Borders!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Working virtually across six different countries generally requires a lot of creativity and innovation to keep collaboration fresh. Mural provides me with so many opportunities to do just that. It allows me to facilitate thinking and brainstorming sessions that are out of the box, encourage idea generation and help the team to have fun, playing and creating.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

In sessions with many participants, it is easy to lose track of who participates. I would love a feature that shows the participation rates of each person on the mural as an example.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural allows me to have robust conversations, discussions and think tanks with team members across countries, where the lack of distance doesn't detract from the quality of the thinking, ideas and business solutions we can come up with together. As a facilitator, it also encourages you to be well prepared and create good structure to support strong discussions.
