## Mural Reviews
 ### 1. Feature-Rich and Reliable: Great Navigation, Templates, and Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larissa M. | Product Management Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural has great features that work well, such as navigation, post-its, areas, icons, Jira integration, and templates. Also I got support when needed.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Mural still has several gaps, but it does seem dedicated to improving. The positioning and alignment reference lines have improved a lot, but it’s still lacking when it comes to placing items within areas, or when you have areas inside other areas. On a lower-capacity computer, Mural also tends to take a long time to load. I still don’t see much AI in Mural, and I think this is another area where it could improve.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helps me consolidate ideas into a solution, since I can brainstorm and turn it to a clear workflow. Not really sure how measurable this is, but would say it makes online sketching possible, and compared to only text notes or paper, it's 100% better.

 ### 2. Intuitive Collaboration, But Large Boards Can Get Cluttered

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

What I like best about Mural is how intuitive and visually engaging it makes team collaboration. It’s easy to map out ideas, structure projects, and align on next steps, even with distributed teams. The templates, sticky notes, and real-time editing features make brainstorming and planning sessions highly productive and interactive. It truly helps keep everyone aligned and creative, no matter where they’re working from.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

What I dislike about Mural is that it can occasionally feel cluttered when working on larger boards with multiple collaborators. Navigation and organization can get tricky without clear structure, and performance sometimes slows down when too many elements are on a canvas.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is helping solve the challenge of remote and hybrid collaboration by providing a shared visual space where teams can brainstorm, plan, and align in real time. It bridges the gap between in-person and virtual meetings, making it easier for everyone to contribute and stay engaged no matter where they’re located. As an account manager, this has made it much easier to capture client and internal feedback, keep projects moving forward efficiently, and ensure all voices are heard during strategy sessions. It’s helped us accelerate decision-making and maintain creative momentum across campaigns.

 ### 3. Agile, Professional, and Saves Hours with Specialized Templates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rose P. | Sales Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It has stood out for its agility and professionalism, and it also saves hours of manual work thanks to its wide variety of specialized templates.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

System performance is noticeably negatively affected when processing large files, and the slowdown becomes more apparent as file size increases.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural has been indispensable for streamlining our sales process. Its asynchronous collaboration capabilities have largely eliminated the need for constant meetings, making it much easier to keep work moving forward without everyone having to be online at the same time.

 ### 4. Helpful Brainstorming Template That Keeps Team Ideas Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It’s a helpful brainstorm template for collaborating with a team. It makes it easier to share ideas, keep everyone aligned, and organize thoughts in one place.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There aren’t as many templates as in the Miro app, and it also doesn’t offer as many AI features.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration, service, and product design.

 ### 5. Great experience, intuitive, practical, and visually appealing. Made team collaboration easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agustina B. | Diseñadora UX/UI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I love how intuitive it feels and how easy it is to collaborate in real time.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Large boards can get heavy and slow, and I wish there were more templates to customize.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helps solve the challenge of aligning ideas and collaboration in distributed teams. It makes brainstorming, planning, and visual organization much smoother, which saves time and keeps everyone engaged and on the same page.

 ### 6. mural enhances remote collaboration for teams of any size

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Mural?**

What I love about mural is the ease of collaboration. It's really fantastic how we can all work on the same board and complete different workshops as if we were all at the same place.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes we lose track and it can be overcrowded for big teams, still we can work it through by creating multiple boards and split the team so that it doesn't become crowded.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used mural for project planning and user journeys as well as for remote design sprints with clients and their teams.

 ### 7. Great software for team collaboration!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer H. | SQA Analyst II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The ease-of-use of Mural is what keeps bringing my team and I back to it. It is infinitely customizable, intuitive and is used every day. Our IT team makes great use of its Jira integration and is one of the primary reasons it is a staple of our tool suite.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Perhaps it is just my internet and/or computer's processing power, but it does run a little slow sometimes and take up a good bit of memory. There appears to be an occasional caching issue as well but none of these apparent issues keep anyone on my team from using the software.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My software development team and I were looking for a tool to properly do 3 main things: project management, a shared team calendar and a whiteboard to run retrospectives. Adoption of Mural has allowed us to do all 3 of these with the same tool with an incredible ease-of-use.

 ### 8. Helps me to work collaboratively and agile

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica Alejandra C. | Especialista en experiencia de servicios digitales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I appreciate: The different brainstorming templates, the timer, the ease of assigning points and making it easy to choose new ideas.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It would be ideal if it could be added as an extension or just integrated with google meet.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helps me to collaborate with teams in different locations, facilitates the creation of digital products, the selection of functionalities and the making of business decisions.

 ### 9. The best whiteboarding app I've used

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural has a lot of rich features that also work well, making it my preferred whiteboarding tool of the ones I've tried. It supports a lot of media types (which si perfect for my retros).

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Private mode isn't really private; it'd be nice if it didn't show where you moved items to as that makes some of the activities of my team retros not as private as we'd like.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural solves the problem of how to gather ideas together from my team and synthesizing them. With its collection of features & integrations, it's easy to work in Mural and export out.

 ### 10. An Extension of My Mind

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben D. | Associate Director of Research & Strategy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

After using mural for ~6 years now I find opening a board and organizing my thoughts to feel quite natural and a go-to solution for externalizing and organizing my thoughts. As a design researcher I also use it to analyze large qualitative data sets, working remotely with colleagues and clients.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There have been some changes with mural over the years that I question. I particularly dislike that canvases are now default to infinite and that changing them back to a defined board is such an involved process. I also miss having the global view of everyone's cursor and screen in the corner, now I can't easily tell where my clients are looking or if we've lost anyone.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

collaborating around large qualitative data sets and organizing visual concepts

 ### 11. A great platform for your team meetings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin G. | Commercial Legal Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

More than a year ago we started using Mural in our team meetings and we never stopped, it became part of our routine as a team and we've implemented it to all kinds of meetings, from daily meetings to brainstorming sessions, planing, retro, and even running our kanban boards. It is really intuitive, easy to use, and when we had issues they provided great support.

Recently, we've discovered how to integrate it with Atlassian, which made a lot better our Kanban experience!

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The left bar could be improved, as it feels too painful to navigate options. Something more dynamic would help increase the use of those tools.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualization during team meetings, proper Kanban execution linked to JIRA, Brainstorming sessions, Planning and Retrospective meetings, Project Management.

 ### 12. Mural

 ### 13. Great for team collaboration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Has multiple collaborative tools that allow for conferencing, brainstorming, and documentation in numerous boards and applets, with interactive elements allowing for dynamic yet productive meetings.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes the interface can be a bit clunky, with issues such as participants accidentally moving board items (though admins are likely able to restrict this, it should be limited by default to prevent such cases),

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In team meetings, Mural allows for structured collaboration sessions using the multitude of applets and features such as voting, storyboarding, and the like. With the freedom afforded to us, we can design all sorts of team activities for each meeting that are likely outside of the scope of what the developers initally envisioned -- the app has great customisability for this purpose.

 ### 14. Mural Board Use for Medical Students

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The fact that it's collaborative in real-time, that it is powerful and has a lot of functionalities, and it's infinite on all sides.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It can be rather slow at times (it takes time to buffer), and when we work on them, it can be hard to annotate and glitch a lot. The images we upload may not be very high quality too, so when quality is important, we can't use the Mural Board to look at them to make diagnoses about histology slides.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a student, so it's primarily benefittting me in terms of my medical education. No business things

The upside is that it is an easy to use tool with many built in templates. It is made for collaboration, so it works well when multiple users are viewing editing and making updates.

Perfect for capturing feedback from stakeholders, brainstorming, or sorting and organizing large groups of 'sticky note' style feedback. Works well with other MS tools for imports/exports and copy-paste

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Some features are still in process. Does not have as robust of a feature set as Visio.
It took us a while to figure out public/private rooms and how to move murals to appropriate places where the right groups could access.

Ability for multiple users to interact and develop a diagram.

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It's easy to use even for technical novices and works quite well with large groups of guests.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The pro license is limiting and should offer more seats than it does. Also, if you register a free account with a domain associated with a pro license, it won't let you if there are no pro license seats left.

It's useful for collaborative purposes, focusing on engaging both internal and external stakeholders and gathering thoughts.

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural creates space for creative thinking that can support transistion between multiple hybrid, in person and virtual sessions.

My favourite thing about Mural is that it allows persistent and on-going development of a set of ideas / concept over time - allowing people to input offline and sustain that input through further ruture review sessions.

Mural has a largely intuitive UI and if you invest a little time as a facilitator to set up boards in smart ways in advance you can deliver some amazing workshop sessions.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Slightly inconsistents about how the sharing and access model works - think that might be down to our corproate SSO integration - but overall generally the necessary access can be given where needed.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to run innovation and collaboration sessions either virtually or in a hybrid fashion - Mural creates a different way of thinking and organising thoughts which generates better quality ideas.

**Reviewed by:** Quentin L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

- How easy it is to create a mural space and organize it as you wish.
- How easy it is to share it among team members with different access rights.
- The free version covers all of our needs for now ( less than people in a start-up environment)

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

- There are no real start-up programs meaning that if we want to opt-in for the paid version at one point, it might be too expensive for our small company.
- There should be a way to make a template instead of copying old mural and archiving them afterward.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can organize work on a monthly basis and open up discussions about the tasks, their priority and how to handle them.
We use it to brainstorm and plan for any development we might have.

 ### 32. Made gathering and organizing information much quicker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolo' C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

the possibility to work live with colleagues and clients in defining designs and sharing information, this made it much easier to converge on a common vision for the development and, as a consequence, a much faster delivery

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

there are some formatting limitations, some of which got addressed in the latest update that made it difficult somethimes to organize ideas as intended. I would like to see additions such as more block designs options and connection with more ancor points (somethimes moving blocks overlays arrows)

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mural solved the need to reiterate information retrieval meetings and build a shared information model that allows different teams to start building the right solution quickly

 ### 33. Whiteboard Anywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anton H. | Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Having recently joined a new role, I was directed to MURAL by a colleague. It has enabled me to quickly get up to speed in a fast-paced environment, where detail and organisation matters. I'm able to map out organisational groups, business processes, and product workflows, easily and reliably, and extend into on-the-fly planning in solo and joint workshops.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

There are no real downsides to using MURAL, everything has been considered. I don't always find navigation easy, but that is mostly down to whichever laptop or tablet device I'm using. I have occasionally opened other people's MURALs and started moving things around, and having to 'undo' these actions.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being new to the organisation, I've used MURAL for easily mapping out what teams look like, what the business processes look like, and more recently, using MURAL to build RACIs and show individual, and group responsibilities around various workflows. I've also used other people's MURALs as a reference point during product calls, and been able to follow and add value to detailed conversation, which would have been more difficult, without being able to open the product views at that point in time.

 ### 34. mural is user friendly, and useful for coworking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erina Damayanti L. | claim medical officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

we can share files, and mural can be used for gathering games etc. but id prefer if the calendar option can be connected to like google calendar etc, so that the using of the feature is integrated to the reminder etc.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

not integrated to like table spreadsheet usage, and calendar, and drives. so that whatever is there in mural we need to re write somewhere else. cannot sync data through mural. if its only for like drawing, maybe the usage of mural is more not for serious bussines. but more entertaining, like drawing together. a short listed reminder. etc.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

so far... to be honest i do not use mural a lot. we just playing with Mural without using it for important purpose. maybe use the calendar to mark on some dates. but again, it doesnt sync with our phone calendar so..no reminder for the event. so thats not practical

 ### 35. Love this program!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

It was such a helpful tool for my team to use to brainstorm ideas, categorize, them and assign ownership. It was enjoyable and the whole team really loved it.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

It can be a bit laggy at times when you have a large number of people working on it at the same time, but nothing that really got in the way.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to work together as a team to brainstorm and get everyone truly involved

 ### 36. I like to have order

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Przemek P. | Lead, Infrastructure Specialist , Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I like its simplicity in bringing practical solutions for communication. I believe communication is a key to success in big teams, and this tool connects team members.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I don't like the logging process; it always asks for a password and doesn't remember my email. This part could be improved so the sessions could be longer and browser could also save the email.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural brings visualization to the information we pass through. Thanks to this, we can assimilate more information without confusion or getting tired because it is simply too much data.

 ### 37. Great tool for creative collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrada P. | Pricing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is a great tool to use for collaborating with the team. The flexibility it has enables people to add information in their own way; it is infinite so endless amount of info/stickers/frameworks can be added. I get the sense that more of its potential is used in more creative fields where individuals add pictures and communicate visually.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The stickers have limited capability - the writing stays in he middle even though there is a lot more space in the box where it can sit.
The arrows connecting different stickers are sometimes very fiddly and especially if the stickers are close to each other they look odd and don't connect properly.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is great as it gives the ability to work with the wider team on concepts, particularly in the brainstorming phase but also after this stage to add in updates as the project progresses

 ### 38. Best digital real time board

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guglielmo F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

I really love how real-time the collaboration is. It feels very smooth and you can actually use this tool to collaborate even if you are in person.
I also really like the section method

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I think navigating using a mouse is not very fest at times, especially on long boards

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows to bring in ideas from different people in one organize and could based platform

 ### 39. Collaboration.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit M. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The UI part which i liked most about it since it was like a fun game for us when we were interacting.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Nothing much but i have a feeling that it can be made more user friendly in the beginning but navigating things which are special like we get these days in other new applications.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural is making collaboration easy and i used it first in our SAP scholar onboarding, and it was really fun because it was kind of a fun game for us so i will say it will make our next scholar session more fun.

 ### 40. It is a very comprehensive tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robinson S. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Being able to graph the information and processes we work on with our clients, so that it is easier to understand

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I had already mentioned it in another survey, and it's that when using the tool on a 13-inch laptop, the long texts written within the post-its cannot be read clearly. On the other hand, the comments placed next to the post-its move when the background or structure on which they are placed is moved... the same happens with some arrows even if they are anchored to the points of the post-its. I think you should develop the platform in Spanish as well.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to graph the information and processes we work on with our clients, so that it is easier to understand, collaboratively and in real-time

 ### 41. Mural: It's a lot

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Attractive layout and design; perfect for brainstorming and collaboration. It is nice to have many people engaged and working simultaneously. Allows for a lot of creativity in presenting ideas.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Using the tool is not intuitive; individuals have a steep learning curve if they are not used to these types of virtual boards. The way the tools zooms in and out is distracting and cumbersome.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural allows us to brainstorm and collaborate remotely.
The tool allows for greater creativity and collaboration once one gets used to the user interface.
Large groups can participate.

 ### 42. Is good to colaborate with teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentin C. | Scrum Master, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

What I like most about the mural and that is why I choose it is the voting sessions, timer in view, collaborating with teams at the same time or asynchronously.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

What I like least about Mural is not being able to limit users' access to certain boards, and that by default it shows them all of them.
It is necessary to limit the display because you work with many organisations.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mural helped me to work collaboratively in many areas, to be able to express ideas simply and clearly, and to make great presentations with simple drawings.
Finally, the ease of generating templates for recurring meetings.

 ### 43. Review from a UX Researchers PoV

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gero S. | User Experience Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Mural is super intuitive to use, it can be used for so many different things such as workshops, usability tests, heuristic evaluations, kick-offs, organising my own stuff etc.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

When a Mural board is quite full it can lead to performance issues. Also sharing Mural boards between different workspaces doesn't always work well. In the las weeks sharing murals in general led to several issues.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing people together remote in an appropiate way. Through the pandemic Mural was my go-to tool for collaborating with team members and stakeholders

 ### 44. I like the possibilities it offers, and also the templates library

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saloua A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

the templates library
easy to use
bright colors
integration with other tools

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

it gets sometimes complicated when you have multiple people moving around the board

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me visualise processes, conduct meeting, conduct agile ceremonies

 ### 45. Review about Mural

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aurelian S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Planing poker (many people can vote on an item).

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Links to murals cryptical. Seems to be complicated to create new murals and add controls and sections,

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Voting about effort of implementing items.

 ### 46. Mural , a modern whiteboard with excellent basic functionality but lack of advanced capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank D. | Business Design Facilitator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Basis ergonomics are top.
Friendly team.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Lack of advanced functionality when compared to Miro and Lucidspark.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smooth Digital Collaboration Solution supported by a geat team and fantastic website.

 ### 47. Mural as a Creative collaborative tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benedicta G. | Graduate Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Being able to work with colleagues simultaneously or otherwise. Its fun and productive way to work and archive materials for later references

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

I feel its not clean enough. More tools to help visualise data will be great

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creative collaboration among teams which isnt as overpriced as miro. I love that about Mural

 ### 48. Great Flexibility for Planning and Collaborating

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

The templates are actually a great learning resource; when I started investigating the different leadership, organization, and planning models created by various third parties, it helped drive our own collaboration I never would have thought of if not for MURAL. There's also a lot of great templates for group activities/ice-breaking/brainstorming, etc. Mobile support is great, and collaboration/invite management is also very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The UI can seem a unintuitive at first. It's not clunky, but it does take a bit of engagement to start to use properly. Learning that you can zoom WAY in and you always have a lot more room than you think you do when in a zoomed out view, and also using the "LOCK" feature for components you're not actively using, are 2 UX concepts you really have to get used to before you can use it effectively.

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Probably not alone in saying that it's a game-changer for remote work, as sharing a MURAL while on a video conference really bumps live collaboration to a level not possible with other information-sharing tools.

 ### 49. Mural has enabled WFH more smoothly!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** K K. | Software Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Collaboration with mural whiteboard and brainstorming on innovative projects leads to outstanding results! The experience with mural was so smooth that never felt in person meeting is missing. That's the power of Mural offering.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

Sometimes lacked the performance when participants were more than 50. May be it would be network glitch but over all is good only

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WFH with mural has been blessing as collaboration and brainstorming with mural whiteboard was extremely helpful.it was more productive sometimes then in person . The outcome result was win win for everyone!

 ### 50. A versatile tool for collaborating and documenting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris W. | Lead link, Operational Excellence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Mural?**

Lots of things to like. The huge canvas lets us explore really large topics, like detailed process maps. I especially like the new infinite canvas mode.
It's pretty easy to invite others to collaborate and I like that I can invite people as visitors. The learning curve is pretty shallow so I can use it readily with others.
I don't use the facilitator tools much but they work really nicely when I do.
Continuously adding features is nice.
I love the huge array of templates available. I don't use all of them but have often adapted them.
The Content Library is an invaluable tool that I often use to move content from one Mural to another.

**What do you dislike about Mural?**

The feature I dislike the most is that if someone joins as a member (even if they are a paying one but not on the same team as me), my entire account can be locked after 30 days. I appreciate that you are trying to minimize revenue loss, but this seems unnecessarily aggressive and punitive. Why not simply demote them to a visitor and let my account remain active? Or just lock that canvas. Also, if someone is already a paying member, why should they have another account to be a member on one of my canvases? That seems greedy.
Self-help features could be a little more robust. Sometimes trying to find a help topic feels fruitless and chat assistance is not always immediately replied to.
Integration with other software could be better. For example, Miro has a built-in pdf viewer so embedded pdfs can be read directly in the document versus having to download them.

@G2: I don't like having Grammerly nagging me about my language!

**What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Having such a large area on which to work makes it easier to keep a lot of work in one place. I'm using it for, amongst other things, mapping processes and developing service blueprints, which take up a lot of space. Being able to have the whole thing - plus notes, details from other documents, etc. - all in one place makes it easier to work with and avoids page flipping that would be necessary in other tools.
2. I'm able to replicate other types of tools (we use one called EasyRetro, for example, but I don't have a license for it) by getting creative with the available functionality.
3. We're using it for presentations that we want to be able to interact with later or during a session with clients, such as information about a complicated project we're about to embark on.
