Could this be streamlined? I also appreciate the test mode, allowing me to practice new skills before 'going live'. **What do you dislike about Multiview ERP?** There are some things, particularly in the Accounts Payable modules, that are not intuitive in how you go in to look something up. There are some things in some modules that don't exist in others, which has led me to confusion on multiple occasions **What problems is Multiview ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our office has been using Multiview since I came to the office, so I'm not certain what problems it is solving. This is important to prevent mistaking it for production mode and making changes you don't want to make. **What do you dislike about Multiview ERP?** Biggest downside is when I do scheduled payments I have to go through each scheduled payment to add in the supporting document. Improvements would being able to add the document in scheduled payments once and it automatically gets added to all the other scheduled payments in the series. One queer thing about MV is if you add a space at the end of the invoice number then the system allows duplicates. That made no sense to me and is a terrible control. **What problems is Multiview ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently there is nothing that MV ERP is solving for me or providing any benefits at the moment. I could not say if I was more productive or not or if the business performance has improved. My understanding is that MV is looking into how an AP clerk can add a space after the invoice number causing duplicates to be entered into our system. For example, it took me a while to figure out how to use the Interface pdf manual. Took many trial and error to figure out what key description to use in header vs detail line. I wish there was basic example for each module (e.g. AR invoice template, AR payment template, etc.) **What problems is Multiview ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multiview helps automate day-to-day operations as well as financial reporting in my organization. For example, using Ancora to pay vendors more accurately, using various Excel templates to load invoices for monthly billing, using VPA to create custom reporting to replace, so on and so forth. There is a lot of data that can be pulled and used in many different ways and is easy to sort. It is not user friendly overall and doesn't seem thought out (especially the Materials Management side). I would like to see it be more user friendly and more useful to track requisitions. I love going paperless. **What do you dislike about Multiview ERP?** 1. Lag times. Login and wait to load the desktop. Load a report and wait. Calculate a report and wait. Change one line in that report and your numbers go away. Select calculate and wait again. 2. Creating all of the reports. We were assured that all of our reports could be done in Multiview. They didn't mention that we would need to create them ourselves. 3. Workflow log jams. Getting things out of workflow should be simpler. 4. Everything takes at least twice as long to accomplish. Uploading journal entries require that you create text file from your Excel file, upload that file through the file upload portal, go back to the desktop to process that file through the interface, upload the JE backup file to a different place and then attach the back up to the entry. 5. More than 11 months in, and we still haven't managed to create a dashboard because the instructions are sparse. 6. Because we were with CPSI for all our accounting and payroll functions and Multiview does not do payroll, we had to go with Paylocity. We have a very complicated Time Entry process, but probably no worse than any other hospital. It took us more than a year to get Paylocity set up enough to go live and the payrolls are still not correct. 7. The printing process is ridiculous. To print a trial balance, for example, you would search with your parameters, view your trial balance, select the print button. This brings up a print preview where you can make minor layout adjustments. Then you select the print button again, which brings up your printer selection window. You select DCV printer and tell it to print again. Then you wait to see if it will actually do anything. If your report is long, chances are it will fail. But if it does decide to print, it will bring up a new pdf version of the report and from there you can select the print button again. 8. Using multiiple screens with Multiview is a necessity. Their second screen function is a beta product at best. When you open a second screen to view, for example, invoice documents when reviewing AP batches, you select the second screen function and drag viewing window to your second screen. Then you drag the documents tab to that window. As long as you stay in the same AP batch, the documents tab will stay. If you go to another batch, you will need to drag the documents tab back to the viewing window. The second screen function fails regularly, leaving you to wonder where your documents went. 9. Inconsistent results when loading files through the interfaces. If you can't get a file to load after multiple attempts, you can just put it aside and try it again later and there's a pretty good chance that will load right in. 10. The actual written instructions are pretty good when you can find them. The instruction videos are not as good and some are just difficult to watch. 11. The Community board on the support site is so empty it echos. Report writer takes a little getting used to but has proven an effective tool for creating financials. Customer service is very responsive and helpful. **What do you dislike about Multiview ERP?** The online documentation is helpful but could be organized better - I feel like it is often hard to locate what I am looking for. The various dashboards and modules are clean and concise without being overly complicated. I was very pleased with the implementation team we had, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and have stayed in touch to offer support and answer any questions even months after we went live. **What do you dislike about Multiview ERP?** The only downside I would offer up is lack of in-person implementation or training sessions. There will be future conferences to attend and learn from in an in-person setting, but I am a hands-on individual that likes to work through a project together in a room with colleagues. This is a small complaint though, my overall experience with the implementation team we were assigned was very positive. **What problems is Multiview ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Their biggest push is to "End Month End" for individuals in the finance/accounting industry, which means eliminating as many manual processes each month as businesses close their books. No program documentation. For help you need to sit through multiple help demonstration videos that may or may not help. Fortunately, Helpdesk is really responsive so it is just easier to ask for help, even on the simplest questions. The consolidation abilities are not really there (one of the reasons we bought the product). It cannot handle complex ownership structures. Licensing is so-so. We've also added MV Budget & Forecasting and AP Intelligent Capture. We LOVE the RADS and MV reporting capabilities. Year-end audit lead schedule prep and analysis much easier and more comprehensive than what we could do with Dynamics. MV was a God-send during the COVID shutdowns. The ability to attach documents to transactions and route approvals through workflow enabled us to function without missing a beat. Worked out so well that accounting and AP staff now permitted to work from home several days a week. This hybrid work schedule has made us an employer of choice in our city. Our OPS folks love the MV portal, where they can view up to date budget vs actual numbers, and approve various items for entry like AP invoices. **What do you dislike about Multiview ERP?** On our last major system update, some items were changed that were not included in the release notes, so we had a few unexpected hiccups. Support did a good job getting the issue resolved.
