MuckRack offers the most responsive customer service team that I've worked with. The database is comprehensive and solid with better data, in my opinion, than some of the "competitors". **What do you dislike about Muck Rack?** It can still come off being more time intensive and clunky building complete media databases versus competitors. The MuckRack data is often more solid and comprehensive but list building and some of the other tasks still take longer to build out than on competitive platforms. **Recommendations to others considering Muck Rack:** Great product and excellent customer support. **What problems is Muck Rack solving and how is that benefiting you?** More productive. It pulls in the contact details, the impressions, media tracking, media-list-making, mail merge (SAFELY, not a weird Chrome extension), etc. etc. etc. I also love how receptive their team is on any ideas or possible improvements. **What do you dislike about Muck Rack?** The media tracking is sometimes a little hit or miss. I feel like this has more to do with outlets and their web hosts. Especially if a publication reuses and refreshes an old story that published years ago, it will generally miss. On the media contact side, having a way to search for print/long lead editors and decipher from short lead/online would be a welcome add. And adding broadcast viewership and podcast listenership. **Recommendations to others considering Muck Rack:** While every company has different needs and budget, I strongly advise checking out Muck Rack, especially if you have been searching for media tracking. The cost of piecing each of items out across different databases is high. Also, I actually considered Muck Rack a few years ago when they were new and passed. When I went back to check them out just a year later, the database had improved so dramatically I was shocked. Currently, if I want to import my own list, I have to contact Muckrack and request it. I have been in PR over a decade wearing many many hats (both agency and internal) and I can tell you that this is by far the best PR database out there. It's the simplest to use in-browser and export. I have used of Muck Rack's competition in my career but have never felt truly in charge of my personal workspace like I have been using Muck Rack. It's worth every penny! **What do you dislike about Muck Rack?** I feel like Muck Rack can do better in finding contact information for smaller trade and niche publications, podcasts and newsletters. I have also noticed some active journalists' feeds don't really populate and it looks like they no longer write for the publication/at all anymore. I also wish there was some sort of Boolean preview writer for alerts and coverage reports similar to Google Alerts. This will change over time but feels a bit premature.
