The Boolean logic needs to be re-jiggered often to exclude irrelevant results, even though they were set up with the customer service team's help - Alerts can sometimes break and send you multiple emails for the same alert more than two dozen times (has happened more than twice in the last month!) - Email needs to be reconnected often because the integration into the Pitch tool breaks **What problems is Muck Rack solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Muck Rack as a CRM for reporter contacts. The team wants us to succeed. Questions are answered in minutes, team checks in on us to make sure we aren't having any issues. They will also set up a one on one meeting with you for any reason. As for the product itself: Access to journalist information, such as recent articles, email addresses and social media. Easy to send follow-ups, send out and schedule emails. Was trying to do PR with google spreadsheets and it was a crazy waste of time. If anyone is trying to do PR internally get MuckRack, it's more then worth it. MuckRack Alerts! I almost forgot to add this. It doesn't seem to be 100% perfect, but so many journalists are so busy that they don't get around to emailing you when the article actually comes out. MuckRack alerts helps catch those articles so that you can send a thank you (another reason for a MuckRack calendar, next update please?) and promote to your followers the next amazing article. **What do you dislike about Muck Rack?** It's less of a dislike and more of a want list! I would like a MuckRack calendar. Something that you can set dates and reminders to follow-up with journalists and see when your scheduled pitches are going out. Another item I would like is a "How to make media lists" class for Michael Smart! Not the technical side, but how to make amazing go-to lists. Oh and "How to understand the reports", maybe "how to tell your client what the reports mean", something, "reports on MuckRack for dummies????". Honestly just more Michael Smart classes in general, his academy class was freaking amazing. If you haven't taken it, you are missing out, **Recommendations to others considering Muck Rack:** If you are doing internal PR, get MuckRack. I can't speak for an external firm as that is not how I use it. **What problems is Muck Rack solving and how is that benefiting you?** A few phrases come to mind. Time-Saver. A solution to PR. The tool you are missing when trying to get PR.
