It's easy to see share of voice among competitors in media, track media mentions over time, and use widgets that can be shared with teams who have less familiarity with tools. I use Muck Rack for PR program management and media outreach, and it solves several problems for me. The database gives me access to journalists and allows me to personalize pitches globally while tracking engagement and outcomes. I love the AI-enabled discovery of relevant journalists on a granular level throughout the platform. The support I've received through onboarding is A++, making me feel supported with an onboarding strategist available any time and 24/7 live chat. It's a great start, and the platform itself is slick, doing almost everything I need. I like that they're constantly innovating, rolling out several features leveraging AI to improve ease of use, discovery, and reporting. What do you dislike about Muck Rack? I really like Muck Rack, but I'd appreciate two simple features. I have the global database and would greatly appreciate if content presented were translated. As it stands, I have to copy over to another tool to translate which is inefficient. Another feature request: I can personalize the message for a given journalist, but not the timing of my pitch delivery. Since journalists often prefer to receive pitches at specific times, this change would be much cleaner than having to set up new pitches for individual journalists. Lastly, while Muck Rack does offer newswire distribution, it's more expensive, so I use another tool to fill this gap. I'm hoping these rates decrease over time so I can consolidate.
