## Mozilla Firefox Reviews
 ### 1. If Chrome wasn't out there this would be #1

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane A. | CEO & Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Great fast browser. Does everything you need.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Nothing really. It is a great browser. I think the icons on the bookmark bar are hokey.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internet application interaction and web browsing

 ### 2. First runner up to Chrome

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charysse S. | Lecturer, Education Management

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is a much better alternative to Internet Explorer and Safari. Before I used Chrome, Firefox was my go-to browser. I like the fact that it does constant updates of its software.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Unfortunately, Firefox loads slower than Chrome and sometimes crashes/freezes. If you don't like constant updates, you may see that as a disadvantage. I did notice a slow decline in quality over the last 3 years or so, which is why I made the switch to Chrome.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

If you have Safari or Internet Explorer, switch to Firefox. The pop-up blocker is an asset.

 ### 3. Seems like the step child to Chrome

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie F. | Housekeeper, Health, Wellness and Fitness

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I do miss how it had a search bar right at the top to search google instantly. That was nice and convenient.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I dislike how when you are typing into the navigation bar, it doesn't automatically fill in the address for you. You actually have to move and click to what it brings up, and I think Chrome's way of doing saves me some time.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Try chrome.

 ### 4. My second favourite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shyam K. | Account Manager, Renewables & Environment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It is an essential tool in my arsenal especially when testing out new applications. In some instances it has proved to work better than a number of other browsers.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Not as slick and easy to use do certain things as it is on chrome.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Its great as a backup and some sites work better on firefox than most other browsers

 ### 5. My favorite browser

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed S. | Managing Director - Directors Board, Import and Export, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

The most thing I like in Firefox is the customization. I've been using it for my database developing work it is great and you can rely on

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

From my work experience, it freezes sometimes and doesn't respond to any thing you have to close it and restart again but you can restore your sessions and this is nice

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Unique browser, highly recommended

 ### 6. A Good Browser

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Videha D. | Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It is one of the leading browsers and the best thing about firefox is its customizability. You can add varies addons and they are many things that you can do with the browser

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Sometimes firefox freezes on my laptop. and it is also a bit laggy.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

If you need a browser that needs to be customized then go for firefox. You have a hell lot of addons you can add and make the most out of a browser

 ### 7. Firefox is a great browser that is set up very well. However, it has performance issues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Aesthetics, layout of toolbars and options, the fox logo and customization/themes

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox crashes a lot. It is very finicky in regard to performing with multiple tabs. It can freeze and hang up a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Be careful not to overwhelm Firefox with too many video / flash / shockwave pages. Be sure not to keep too many tabs open, as it eats up a lot of memory and can slow down your computer. Be sure to close out Firefox whenever it is not in use.

 ### 8. The Best Browser Out There

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie W. | Group Director of Search, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is a strong all-around browser, but it's greatest strength is the variety of its add-ons. I have a core set of free Firefox add-ons that I use daily in my work, and they save me tons of time. Additionally, Firefox is fast, compatible, and displays well.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Perhaps not as efficient and streamlined as Chrome, but I think the add-ons more than make up for it.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Download it - you have nothing to lose!

 ### 9. Because of the Add-Ins that I need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah M. | Application Support Specialist, Consumer Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Ad Block.
I like that it's all open source and etc... etc... It's a nice bit of software and it's free and it does everything I expect a browser to do. And it lets me shut off advertising, so I'm very, very happy about that.

I suppose there are other add ins, and it's good that there is an add-in developing community.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It doesn't work without an internet connection? Seriously - it's fine.

I'm sure many users have sophisticated and elaborate opinions about their browsers and their add ins and so forth - but I am content and consider Firefox to be only slightly better than any of the other main browsers available.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

http://adblockplus.org/en/firefo

 ### 10. Solid browser. Better than IE. Wide range of plugins available.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg M. | Senior Consultant, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Solid browser with good compatibility across the web. Speedy. Fewer javascript quirks than IE. Easy to install - even offers to import your settings from IE. There's a large number of plugins available that are easy to download and install, including some great development tools.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Occasionally a memory hog, but better than in the past.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Has shifted to smaller, more frequent updates rather than larger releases a la Internet Explorer. This has its benefits and its drawbacks.

If you don't like Firefox, try Chrome. Both are better than Internet Explorer.

 ### 11. Good, but still behind Chrome

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Ad blocking. I don't do much web development, but they offer a good number of time-saving add-ons for that.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Performance is pretty slow compared to Chrome. I have better luck in Safari, too, with load time.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Not a bad option, but still worth testing other browsers.

 ### 12. Open Source At It's Finest

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch M. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

There are tons of add ons available for this browser built by developers across the globe. It's probably the best solution for you if you run Linux.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Nothing, it's a great browser.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

I think Chrome is a little better but this is a great alternative

 ### 13. A Good Alternative to Chrome

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick T. | VP, Head of Sales & Customer Success, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is just smooth and it works very well. It was my top browser until Chrome came along.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It's not quite as user friendly with bookmarks and such as I'd like it to be.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Have it handy for when Chrome has crashed or doesn't render a certain site very well.

 ### 14. Second best browser out there

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bobby H. | Marketing Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It's better in every way compared to IE and Safari. Mozilla is constantly innovating their solution and with that they release new versions of their browser every few weeks. Tweaking security issues and increasing performance

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Not as fast as Chrome and lacks the same amount of plugins

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Try Chrome, if not stick with Mozilla

 ### 15. Tried 'em all and chose this one...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric M. | Director Of Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

All the add-on's available to use aa a developer, load time, speed, separate configuration for proxy settings that are not the same as the system settings, syncing with smart phones!, look and feel of browsing experience.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

None.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Updates automatically, not part of "windows update"..., fast, reliable, etc.

 ### 16. Safe browser to use and compatible with most sites/systems

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susie C. | Senior Sales Ops Analyst, Automotive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Blocks ads, and it is compatible with many of the systems that I use and support.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Wish the load is faster, like Chrome. Sometimes it take awhile for some sites to load.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Better than IE!

 ### 17. Can't stop loving it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Solomon R. | Jr Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

This is the first browser that I have used and still quite love it for its use of it.
I come to firefox whenever chrome fails me.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Sometimes the browser just hangs for no reason.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

An alternate browser option.

 ### 18. There's an plug in for that.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor R. | Brand Protection Analyst, International Affairs, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

The features! I process a large volume of URLs on multiple gTLDs and ccTLDs, and am constantly finding new Firefox add ons that make my work so much easier than it would be.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Sometimes the updating can be a bit overzealous, and the occaisional crashing that can be expected of any browser constantly in development.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Don't let Chrome fool you, Mozilla is superior. But honestly, it comes down to which browser has the look and feel that works the best for you.

 ### 19. Our default browser

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakub A. | Founder, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

IE was never smooth and developed a consistent tendency to crash. Firefox has always been simple to use with very few issues. The ability to manipulate multiple tabs and bookmarks makes for a simple interaction.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Recently there has been an increase in the browser crashing along with Java. All tabs stay in the history and reopen upon a restart so it really isn't a major issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Give it a chance if you have never used it. I prefer the simplicity and ease of use, never had comparability issues either which should be a significant consideration.

 ### 20. Still the best? Maybe not, but really good.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I like Mozilla as an organization. They build great software and they have a great mission.

The Firefox extensions are still the best. Some earlier versions ran into serious performance issues, but ever since 12 I feel like Firefox is back!

And building extensions for Firefox is just good clean fun.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Their new web developer features are annoying. Sometimes they won't go away, and whenever I say "Inspect Element," I expect Firebug to open instead.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

If you haven't used it in a while, give it another chance. It's become my #1 again, I've switched back!

 ### 21. Better than IE; not as good as Chrome

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel W. | President, Public Relations and Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox was the first "alternative" to Internet Explorer that I used. It has an amazing set of extensions and is massively customizable.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is a bit slow and a memory hog. It can take a long time to load when you first fire it up, and page retrieval is only so-so.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Firefox is still great if you want to do website debugging. Plus, it's good for testing website functionalities.

 ### 22. Firefox apps are its strength but looses out Chrome in speed.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francis P. | CEO & Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

The work horse for a lot of users the shear amount of add-ins you can get for Firefox makes it invaluable, skype integration, developer tools, privacy tools and app integration. I use it daily and without the add-ins I'd be stuck :)

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Its slow and has lost ground to Chrome. If they can improve the performance I think Firefox could come back into the running.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Make sure you have Chrome on your desktop first.

 ### 23. best browser with good plugins for a developer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai K. | Software Engineer, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Unless google chrome, mozilla firefox is non profit company. It does not want any of your data. It is very good and easy to use browser. I think firebug and selenium like plug in are very useful and developer must have.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

no iPhone or iPad app

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

If you want a good desktop browser

 ### 24. Great network for plugins and skins

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox has a great developer network behind it. This is most likely because it was the first real alternative to IE.
Very stable and quite powerful. If you need a plugin for anything browser related, there usually is one for firefox.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Chrome feels quicker. But still firefox is very still a great browser

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Choose this or chrome

 ### 25. The only browser I use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan S. | Corporate Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Besides being another great free product, Firefox has tons of plugins available. This is one of the smoothest browsers I have ever used.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I have nothing bad to say about it. It is customizable to fit users as they see fit.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

I would definitely give this a try, even if you are a chrome die hard.

 ### 26. Superb witht he Widnows 8 version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim P. | Health & Life Sciences Solution Design Consultant/Domain Expert, Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Very fast, never breaks, no scripting errors, better features than Chrome, slick modern interface. this is my favourite browser in Windows 8 (64 bit)

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Nothing! Seriously - there's nothing at all that I've discovered after +/-5 weeks use to dislike. works better than IE 10

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Just do it.

 ### 27. A Web Developers Friend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dustin G. | Senior Business Systems Analyst, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is very robust. It comes with a lot of great tools and there are many plugins that are extremely useful for everyone. I consider it my web development playground in conjunction with Firebug.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Not much to dislike other than the speed in comparison to Chrome.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

If you're a Web Developer there are a lot of tools and plugins that make Firefox the best choice, but keep in mind best practices and test web based content on all potential browsers.

 ### 28. #2

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan P. | Vice President Of Marketing And Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

For a long time Firefox was the best alternative to native internet browsers (i.e. Safari and IE), but it has finally been surpassed by Google Chrome. Today, Firefox is still one of the fastest most reliable browsers, but it has failed to innovate fast enough.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Aesthetically the design is lacking, even compared to IE.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Switch to Chrome.

 ### 29. Slow and cumbersome

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidya R. | Vice President/Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I like that there are options for browsers in the marketplace and I'm not stuck with Safari. Used to love it back in the day.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It's very slow and makes everything on my computer run slower. Also it seems to update too often.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

I use Chrome.

 ### 30. Still valuable browser for plugins even if not as slick as Chrome

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared T. | Solutions Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Enormous ecosystem, huge selection of plugins, not attached to any company

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Not as slick as Chrome, not quite as fast as Chrome when comparing javascript performance

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Still absolutely essential browser. I can't function without firebug, all other versions outside of firefox fall short. Chrome on occasion has some unexpected behavior but Firefox looks absolutely solid for the web.

 ### 31. One Foxy Browser

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Business Systems Specialist, Insurance, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is fast and reliable. All of the plugins available are really nice and easy to install. Sleek design. Not prone to crashes.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Nothing really

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Get it.

 ### 32. Excellent easy to use search engine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan K. | Head of People & Culture, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Easy to use, fast and friendly and haven't had any problems with it since I started using it

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Not much - there are a lot of updates which results in browser restarts but other than that...

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

If you are tired of the old explorer and being kicked off try firefox - its definitely more stable, faster and very user friendly.

 ### 33. Best browser

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

This is the best browser available. I have no problems with webpages or content while using this. It rarely crashes (if ever) and is great for multiple tab browsing.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Nothing.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

You should use Firefox. It is the better than all the competitors.

 ### 34. Beats Explorer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandi B. | Small Business Account Manager, Consumer Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I love the organization of Firefox. it is easy to use

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Some things i try and open ONLY works in Explorer. Not sure what that issue is but it would be nice to use Fierfox for everything. I choose to use that over Explorer and Safari.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

No recommendations.

 ### 35. Excellent Backup Browser

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Team Lead, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

FireFox pioneered many excellent features with its release, and has continued to be innovative over the past decade.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It is now at a stagnant phase where it is simply following Chrome's progress, but always a step behind.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

FireFox is an excellent browser and is probably the most widely adopted in terms of website support. It is a great browser to have installed, but I find I use it only as a backup to Chrome, when a page does not load properly in Chrome.

 ### 36. The best provider out there - a time and embaressment saver

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe G. | Software Marketing Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Inline spell check and the great apps/plug-ins. Speed is top notch

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I find that a lot of the web development that I've done or seen done doesn't often show the same in other browsers as it does in Firefox. I'm not sure if that's a function of being Mozilla or other browsers. Regardless, cross-browser compatibility comparison would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Download firebug, the SEOMoz toolbar, videodownload heler, etc. The list of functions that I've been able to replace with plug-ins is crazy.

 ### 37. Better than IE but playing catch up to Chrome

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver W. | Sales Executive Corporate, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It has a decent design and looks good compared to IE.
There are lots of plug ins that work well with it as well.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I find it is slower than Chrome.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Try it you might like it. Personally I prefer Chrome - it just has a nice feel about it seems quicker.

 ### 38. Firefox - cross-platform browser

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grigori E. | Senior Business Analyst and QA Lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

it's amazingly fast under linux, and working almost perfect for rest of the platforms, also working good on mobiles, tested on droid, nice results, also like the FF because for web-devs it has so many cool add-ons, which are useful to debug it fast, for QA/QC it's firebug and selenium , as well as YSlow plugin, also good for students, who are learning xPath

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Don't like very often updates they are doing,

memory leaks are existing, test the flash web portal using FF and another browser, FF eating more memory and as result hanging more often

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

fix the memory leaks

 ### 39. My favorite browser

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda K. | Social Media and Employment Brand Consultant, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

By far my favorite browser, it is easy and efficient. The tool bar is clear and straightforward. It is pretty much the only browser I use when I have a choice.

**Reviewed by:** Allyson T. | Executive Team Lead, Higher Education

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I know for a while when I was in college everyone was using Firefox, but today I honestly feel like it's the worst of the big 4 (Chrome, IE, Safari, and Firefox). I would much rather use IE9 on my PC and Safari on my Mac.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Headed the wrong direction.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Try Chrome first. Than IE or Safari.

 ### 41. Only Browser I use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff L. | President, Information Services

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I'm casually and occasionally involved in the process of web page design, but have learned to appreciate to development tools and advantages of FireFox. A lifetime IE user, I was turned on to FireFox about 3 years ago and haven't ever looked back. Free your mind and free your web experience with FireFox

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I also find cross-browser compatability testing a frustrating excersize when designing websites. I wish there was greater homogeneity between IE, FF, and Chrome...

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Go for it. ESPECIALLY if you're designing sites

Recently Flash has become more and more of a problem child with Firefox, as such, I have been slowly transitioning over to Chrome.

Released WAY too many new versions this year, some of which were somewhat of a failure. Tough to keep up when you have to make adjustments for each version
