## Mozilla Firefox Reviews
  ### 1. Firefox - Good security but annoying updates!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trieu N. | IT Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox has strong security and privacy features, supports many useful extensions, and is lightweight, so it doesn't use too much RAM. It's also open-source and customizable, which is great for users who like to tweak their browser.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It runs slower compared to some other browsers, and some websites don't work well on it. One thing i really hate is how Firefox handles updates-every time I open the browser, I have to wait for it to finish updating, while other browsers update in the background.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firefox enhances secure browsing, safeguards privacy, optimizes resource usage, and offers flexible customization.

  ### 2. Decent speed, low productivity

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon W. | Content Generation, Editing, Public Relations, Photography and Event Coordination, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Pages tend to load quickly on Mozilla Firefox. This includes add-ons like integrated video, high-resolution imagery, or other facets. It tends to be quicker than Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I find that Firefox crashes a lot. If I'm doing something simple like reading articles or watching a news clip, that's fine; but if I have multiple windows open, Firefox is very prone to crashing.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used Firefox for watching YouTube videos related to my work like how-to's or catching up on headlines from the likes of Mashable and FastCompany. I'll also use it for Webmail.

  ### 3. good browser

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar M. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

You can debug web sites pretty easy with this browser as a developer, I find it pretty easy to debug, and it has many tools that allow me to perform my job in a reasonable manner

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Sometimes I feel like other browsers have more features for developer, for example, google chrome, but with all the feature Mozilla have now you can complete the job

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Yes, I recommend Mozilla; it is a good and fast browser. You can surf the web and look for any website you want to see, and it is a pretty fast software.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I get to test several websites in a different browsers, and the debugging tools that Mozilla offers to allow me to try in different screen sizes like phone size, table size, or desktop size

  ### 4. Best browser reputation & protection of privacy

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander D. | Marketing Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Mozilla Firefox has a number of fast and lightweight web browsers. Their primary browser is compatible with nearly all sites and applications. Open sourced tech ensures the highest level of user security and protection.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Compatibility has been an issue for me at times. It's not a chromium based browser like edge and chrome and has some limitations as such. Also they have no crypto features supported. Seems a bit outdated in that regard.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firefox is a great open sourced web browser that provides decent speed and excellent security. They regularly release new features and improvements and the team is quite responsive.

  ### 5. Mozilla-firefox: The middle child

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

- the documentation which mozilla provides. I am a web developer and always refer to Mozilla for any kind of web-related documentation
- memory management. It's way ahead of chrome when it comes to how to optimize memory when multiple tabs are opened
- better privacy management than chrome
- better in saving laptop's battery
- ability to sync with other browsers

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

- Developer's console is not that easy to use but does an ok job. Its better than edge but does not give as good an experience as chrome
- Extension popularity and support. This is where Mozilla really needs to work.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- use mozilla for validation of ui components which i develop for cross browser compatibility
- also use it on my phone as a primary browser as somehow the experience is better than chrome

  ### 6. Not that good!! Improvement required!!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

A kind of deal breaker problem faced!!!

To manage my bookmark and access it as of my need is easy ...
By the use of different extensions... It makes my work easy...
Easy and simple UI helps allot!!

  ### 7. Used to be good

**Reviewed by:** Jeanna I. | Sonic Branding, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

This was a tried and true search engine for a long time but then got really buggy.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It was great until it was not. I switched to Chrome and haven't gone back.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Go with Chrome

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I only use it when I have to open a page that doesn't run well with Chrome which is hardly ever.

  ### 8. Too old of a software for me

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie B. | Digital Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Mozilla Firefox was helpful for simple searching and website needs.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I think there are better options out there for web browsing. Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc., are easier to use and more up-to-date with the times.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I was younger Mozilla Firefox was the only web browser we used in school, but times have changed and I don't think it is able to keep up with what I am doing in my adult life.

  ### 9. Mozilla

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Motasem Ghanem M. | Senior Project Controls, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I like how fast the browser is and the compatability with all websites

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I dislike the design or the frontend of the software

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Surfing internet safely and browsing pdf

  ### 10. Only OK browser

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I like that I can easily use this browser when testing web pages. As a web developer, this is an essential tool. I find Firefox an excellent tool for debugging and testing websites in general.

I also like the Pocket recommendations. These recommendations often bring me to the information I would otherwise not always see.

Last, I like the option to see and access my most frequented web pages. When repeating routine tasks, this is very helpful and a time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I find it rather difficult and clunky to add extensions in Firefox. I'm not too fond of all of the updates pushed by Mozilla.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I'm solving with Firefox is testing new web pages in different browser windows and responsive design sizes. Problem-solving tools such as optional design mode tools are a considerable time-saver during development.

  ### 11. Firefox is a great web surfing tool for certain websites.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared S. | Online Fitness Coach/Personal Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox makes opening more secure websites easier. Often, Google Chrome and other internet browsers aren't able to properly load every webpage. In this instance, this is when I switch to Firefox.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Besides opening certain websites, Firefox doesn't have many unique features. It does have some useful plug-ins, but that's it.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Firefox is not the fastest browser around, but for opening particular web pages, it's a crucial tool to have. It's a critical browser to have.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mozilla Firefox allows me to navigate specific website extensions more effectively. When other browsers fail, Firefox will usually load the page correctly.

  ### 12. It used to be good

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn B. | Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It used to be fast, and I used it all the time; it is much faster than internet explorer.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It used to be fast, I used to use it all the time, and now I use Google. It's glitchy and works quickly, and you don't have to restart the computer so much.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was solving the problems I was having with internet explorer and searching for anything on there.

  ### 13. Good web browser, but i prefer google chrome, it has more css support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bibin A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

More information in inspect element than google chrome. Less RAM usage than other browsers when open more tabs

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

SCROLL BAR, cant style scroll bars in mozilla firefox, for a developer its bad

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Website development

  ### 14. Moved past Mozilla

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I like the ease of use with Mozilla, and that is doesn't hog resources while working front end on multiple applications. Mozilla does work pretty fast and that is convenient.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It is not as fast as Google Chrome or Microsoft serve but definitely close. No ability to have tab groups.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Less resource usage while I use this browser, doesn't seem to eat battery life either. Easy for people to get used to.

  ### 15. Mozilla Firefox Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

Each to use certain websites, runs faster

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I prefer google chrome for most of my web browsing

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Specific websites work better on Mozilla firefox

  ### 16. Importance of Mozilla firefox in business

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It is the most easily customised browser with support for browser extension pluginsurance and themes that funderwent ally alter the functionality appearance of the browser to suit nends of a company .

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Compatibility ,websites that utilize active controls to enable deeper windows integration among them any of the most used business website are incomplete with firefox .it's also often among the most resource I ntensive Web browser when it compared to other Web browser in independent testing.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Easy administration
Cares about privacy

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cares about privacy
Fast and lightweight

  ### 17. A very average browser

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It doesn’t take up too much memory. Also, it’s not very slow.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I feel that Firefox is more prone to computer viruses. Also, there are certain websites that I cannot open in Firefox because they are not supported in this browser.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have predominantly used Firefox for browsing the Internet.

  ### 18. Once was the king of browsers, but has been dethroned

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill M. | Volunteer dog trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2014

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is wonderfully customizable. There are tons of themes and options to make it look and run the way you want it.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It seems like with every update, Firefox becomes more prone to crashing. That indicates to me that Mozilla pushes out updates before they're ready, and that's rarely a good idea.

**What problems is Mozilla Firefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My work requires a browser that can handle fairly heavy Internet use. Firefox used to be that browser, but lately, it's gone downhill. It's still light years ahead of Internet Explorer in terms of quality and ease of use, but Google Chrome has proven to be more reliable, at least lately.

  ### 19. After IE, Before Chrome

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruban K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It was once a top used browser of the industry. It is still the secured browser. Firefox is better than IE and safari. There are plenty of add-ons available to mock up the missing features. It's opensource and so you can expect updates every now and then.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

You need to restart the browser after every add-on installation. Firefox is heavy and and customization is limited when compared with CHROME. Mobile version has to be available for all platforms.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

It's better than your default browser.

  ### 20. Not what it used to be 2 years ago

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Winston K. | Ruby on Rails Web Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Great alternative to Internet Explorer

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

The interface feels a little clunky compared to Chrome. But its mainly aesthetics. From my experience it had some problems crashing as well, which is when I decided to try Chrome and I haven't changed back.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Firefox is a hell of a lot better than Internet Explorer, but it isn't as smooth as Chrome. I feel that Chrome does a better job on the small details such as administration and bookmark management.

  ### 21. Better than IE; not as good as Chrome

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel W. | President, Public Relations and Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox was the first "alternative" to Internet Explorer that I used. It has an amazing set of extensions and is massively customizable.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox is a bit slow and a memory hog. It can take a long time to load when you first fire it up, and page retrieval is only so-so.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Firefox is still great if you want to do website debugging. Plus, it's good for testing website functionalities.

  ### 22. Excellent Backup Browser

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Team Lead, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

FireFox pioneered many excellent features with its release, and has continued to be innovative over the past decade.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

It is now at a stagnant phase where it is simply following Chrome's progress, but always a step behind.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

FireFox is an excellent browser and is probably the most widely adopted in terms of website support. It is a great browser to have installed, but I find I use it only as a backup to Chrome, when a page does not load properly in Chrome.

  ### 23. Better than IE but playing catch up to Chrome

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver W. | Sales Executive Corporate, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2013

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

It has a decent design and looks good compared to IE.
There are lots of plug ins that work well with it as well.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

I find it is slower than Chrome.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Try it you might like it. Personally I prefer Chrome - it just has a nice feel about it seems quicker.

  ### 24. The worst?

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allyson T. | Executive Team Lead, Higher Education

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I know for a while when I was in college everyone was using Firefox, but today I honestly feel like it's the worst of the big 4 (Chrome, IE, Safari, and Firefox). I would much rather use IE9 on my PC and Safari on my Mac.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Headed the wrong direction.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Try Chrome first. Than IE or Safari.

  ### 25. Not as good as Chrome, but way better than IE

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Capital Markets | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

Firefox used to be my primary browser, but I've since replaced it with Chrome in the last year. Nothing really wrong with it, it's just not as fast as Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Slower than Chrome, and it's menus/toolbars seem to take up more room on the screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

It's a good browser, just not good enough to be #1. Firefox has very quick release cycles though, and Mozilla seems to be working hard to make it better.

  ### 26. Can't tell the difference

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2012

**What do you like best about Mozilla Firefox?**

I am told it is a better system than Explorer, but I can't tell.

**What do you dislike about Mozilla Firefox?**

Some programs, such as virtual data rooms, are incompatible with Firefox

**Recommendations to others considering Mozilla Firefox:**

Works well, but it can't be your only browser.
