## Mozart Data Reviews
  ### 1. Mozart makes life so much easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Ability to query large datasets, very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Coming from MySqlWorkbench, there is a bit of a learning curve, but it is not bad and well worth it!

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes is so much easier for us to query and report on our data,

  ### 2. Very easy to setup and start using

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

The solution was easy to implement, requiring minimal tech involvement. Our data analyst was able to get into it quickly and start generating insights. The solution also seemed economical for the time saved.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

The fivetran connectors, while easy to set up, don't always offer the same flexibility that a custom integration would. It's sometimes unclear when the Mozart Data platform should be used to view the DWH vs Metabase.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a data warehouse to correlate/intersect our various data sources in order to generate better insights. This allows us to better understand how to allocate our resources on projects/features.

  ### 3. The Mozart team are Snowflake Wizards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

The expertise. It's hard to keep up with the world of warehouses, ETLs, data connectors, etc. The Mozart team is always super up to date on the tools we need, and they set up our connections much faster than we can ourselves.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Sometimes the team is a little slow to respond.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing our data in our warehouse.

  ### 4. Slow start but now up and running

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amita K. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

having a combined dashboard through mixpanel to view data in real time

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

a little slow in getting things together, but a lot could be because of us too having our data unorganized

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

knowing when new accounts are onboarded and seeing high level metrics about those accounts

  ### 5. mozart data: an all-in-one data stack

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

it bundles fivetran and snowflake, as well as adds it's own transformation layer on top

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

there are some areas of the ui that need improvement, and accessing credentials for integrations/snowflake is a bit clunky

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

data warehousing and etl connectors for almost every data source we have

  ### 6. Great Service if you are getting started and don't have a lot of technical talent to manage ELT

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

It is effortless to set it up and the Mozart team is super helpful in general.

All you need to know is SQL and nothing else to manage it. They also sync to google sheets if you prefer to use that for analysis -- which less technical folks find super useful.

If you don't have a complicated data infra and don't have a lot of talent in your team to get started, Mozart is the perfect option.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Their transformation product is an MVP at best. There is a lot of important features missing such as test and validation, documentation, incremental snapshot -- FYI, some of them exist but the features are not at a level to be comparable to dbt or an in-house ETL.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to make it easy for larger teams to write their own transformation and also to have an easily manageable ELT pipeline. It definitely made data more approachable for folks who used to be uncomfortable creating their own transformations -- especially people who don't write SQL every day.

  ### 7. Good Data Syndication Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart allows me to compile data sources from multiple locations into one data lake so that I am able to see a syndicated view of my business performance on demand.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

File size can be problematic with mozart. The platform begins to run slowly if you have large files uploaded making it difficult to do historical look backs at performance over time.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mozart is enabling me to combine multiple data sources into one place so that I can see how my business is performing each day in a way i would not otherwise be able.

  ### 8. Good option for startups to start building data transforms right away

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Allows us to create and schedule transformations with one click - this means that we don't have to either take on extra date engineering work or hire a dedicated data engineer just to run basic transformations on our data

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

The autocomplete is somewhat broken - it often suggests columns from tables that the query doesn't reference. Additionally, the lack of Github integration means that we don't have a great way to do version control built-in to the product.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been creating one-click transforms from our various data inputs - being able to simply write SQL and then pipe the outputs to our BI tools has been extremely convenient.

  ### 9. On boarding and initial sync was little time taking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Support and collaborative assistance provided by team

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Nothing as such, but still, it would be nice to add a feature for consuming snapshots/dump before initial sync

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

data gathering and creating interconnecting information

  ### 10. Mozart helps our company's data run smoothly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart has a very clear UI and is easy to use, has all the integrations we need. It's incredibly easy to onboard to and start building transformations.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

There are certain features that Mozart is slower to than competitors, such as scheduling various transforms on top of each other and building out testing functionality.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mozart helps us organize our data very cleanly. I wish there were more native integrations to tools with common schemas such as Segment / Amplitude.

  ### 11. Low overhead efficiency maker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Mozart Data removes the overhead of managing the "system" and allows you to focus on the schema. When I'm doing analysis and find my query running long or I'm recomputing a field over and over, I can log into Mozart Data and update my schema on a fly. I can add a transform or update an existing transform in seconds and trust that it will refresh for perpetuity. I don't have to worry about cron jobs, scheduling, appending versus recreating tables.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

When you're working with a new schema, you may find it easier to familiarize yourself with the new schema elsewhere before creating new transforms with it. Mozart Data isn't designed to inspect data and understand the schema.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is straightforward to stand up a data warehouse with a source read-only replica and a destination warehouse.

  ### 12. Easy to use ETL tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Venture Capital & Private Equity | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Very straightforward on-boarding and set up
And easy to create, combine & transform new (and existing) tables
Notifications of failed transformations are also nice to see

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Integrations need to expand to more tools (I suspect this will increase over time)

**Recommendations to others considering Mozart Data:**

You'll spend more time (and possibly money) thinking about an ETL tool and warehouse combo than it would actually take to get started and see value out of Mozart, so it's a no-brainer if you're a small data team or a non-engineering team.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Getting all our data cleaned and merged
- Transforming and filtering fields in an easy way just using SQL
- Mainly it's a very easy-to-use ETL tool for non-engineers (and small/single-person data teams) to use.

  ### 13. Great platform to kickstart your data team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

-easy to setup and iterate
-options for fully managed services in snowflake/fivetran or manage yourself
-responsive team

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

-lacking in some advanced ETL source/dependency control feature
-not meant for large organizations with a lot of data

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-create basic data modeling and tables for business intelligence
-quickly iterate upon base model and built more tables

  ### 14. Very powerful data warehouse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

There are countless integrations that allow us to query and analyza data from multiple sources simultaneously very seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Sometimes, there is a data lag in the connector sync. This could possibly be caching from the service though.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to be able to join data between our services to generate complex queries for analysis. This is the greatest benefit.

  ### 15. Mozart Data Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Mozart Data?**

Good database interface with decent API connectors.

**What do you dislike about Mozart Data?**

Interface is unrefined and not visually appealing.

**What problems is Mozart Data solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analytics. The ability to connect different APIs.
