I think the link database is lacking compared to other suppliers, and when you compare date ranges in the rank tracking suite sometimes the differences in the numbers (up/down) aren't quite clear enough as to what they mean. Number of "seats" can be an issue if I'm using multiple devices logged into the same account. Integrating Analytics was really tricky. I dislike the range of default pdf reports that it can generate. Moz (and our use of it) has moved away from research/competitive analysis tools and more towards management of SEO campaigns, which is fine. The management side of Moz works really well for daily/weekly/monthly monitoring and this has always been a challenge for me as I manage so many sites on a daily basis. The ability to see a snap shot of day to day performance is important to me, and maybe there's a little way to go still for Moz. It'd be great to integrate Moz with Search Console data in Looker Studio or similar, but I'm not sure there's an easy way to make this happen if you aren't familiar with how to use the various APIs. The Search Visibility metric, while useful, sometimes feels like a black box. I often find myself questioning the accuracy of this metric, especially when trying to explain the results to clients. This can be frustrating when clients are looking for clear, tangible results from their investment. Additionally, while the tool offers a comprehensive range of features, some of them feel a bit outdated compared to newer tools on the market. The crawler can be slower and less thorough than I’d like, occasionally missing issues that other tools detect. The site audit tool, while generally good, doesn’t always provide the depth of analysis I need for more complex websites. The custom report builder, despite having a lot of good ideas, is clumsy in execution. I love how easy it is to see where we're tracking with our keywords, how we compare to competitors, and the keyword research functionality has been a lifesaver when deciding on which keywords to use in our content! The only thing I could think of is having more of an onboarding process when becoming a new customer AND having someone (a real human) check in periodically to see if customers have any questions. It's simplicity and it's course for SEO. I made keyword research really easy and the initial success manager call, that taught us how to use the product was very useful. I also liked the interface very much although it does seem basic after using a competitors product for a while now. It lacks the same level of reporting detail and tools that it's competitors have. It's also a pretty expensive tool considering it does the same thing as it's competitors. I wish there was a way to provide continuity when migrating a site to a new domain. Having to start over is not ideal, but at least the previous information can be archived for reference. Moz is easy to use and maintain in seeing keywords and comparison to three other competitors. It is constantly trying to provide new features, though not clear how to implement them easily. Other competitive products go up to 100. Moz doesn't have easy ways to save analysis that you can go back to easily. It is one and done. There are minor bugs such as "last week" filter still pulls up 2 weeks of data on CSV. Ability to analyze beyond week over week is not possible -- only week over week.
