Top Rated Moz Local Alternatives
The UI looks great and I trusted the Moz name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Updates take weeks/months and my citations weren't being updated, yet would show being correct in the UI. For some, I could not find my citation organically online at all (hotfrog, botw, bing), yet showed 100% complete. I ended up emailing support and got what I felt was the runaround. I feel like they are selling something they are unable to deliver on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Moz is a must-have tool for SEO persons. Before creating a backlink to any site, I can quickly check that site's Domain authority & spam score. As DA, PA & spam scores are essential metrics. Through the Link research feature, Moz will provide all necessary details regarding a site. Also, it is very easy to check all DA, PA, and Spam scores, using the Moz extension and it is completely free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For my requirement Moz Local is perfect. But It has fewer features compared to its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the most is being able to unify different business accounts in one place and manage everything from a single location. Making work and time investment easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least is the cost, I think the tool has a cost higher than what it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Products used to be great. Not so much, Policy changes to stick us for a year. Do not take into consideration the MSP needs or wants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Invoicing: poorly done, not easy to read, not reconcilable. Does not make being a customer easy. Ticket resolution slow. Client success managers, don't know anything about the other products. Too many hoops to jump through to get help. Account managers are aweful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MOZ is ideal for SEO-related items like site audits, crawling reports, etc. Using Moz's incredibly user-friendly interface, I can quickly generate beautiful reports for clients and myself. I use it specifically to reveal "no-follow" connections on websites. This is especially beneficial when considering using backlinks by posting on websites supporting content syndication. Although it offers keyword tracking, it goes further in a few aspects. Search Visibility is a measure that the system offers. This score may be applied to all the keywords being tracked or only to those within a user-defined category. As a result, this aids in our understanding of the website's performance and specific product categories. Additionally, we can see how the three rivals stack up. Their customer service is subpar. Occasionally, data from a tool used to assess competition is not correct. There are several differences if you compare the data from MOZ with that from Google Search Console and Ahrefs. I used them to analyze ten projects for links and discovered that they could not crawl backlinks that I made a few months ago, despite being visible in search console data. They must improve their dot bot. They are unable to recognize the internal connections on my websites either. I found 8 out of 100 projects had no internal links when I examined them. The Moz Local tool is missing essential functions like Citation Builder and Reputation Manager. There is no free trial available for Moz Local either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I used Moz Local to manage local listings for our company. The platform made it easy to manage consistent listing information across most of the major listing services. The subscription cost was also reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although most of the relevant listing services are covered, Yahoo was not. We had some inconsistent listings on Yahoo, and this became a problem that we had to address through another local listing platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Moz local is the best and most affordable option for getting your business data consistent across all digital platforms and listings. They provide a great analysis tool, and their platform is very user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes about Moz Local. It works just as I need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The overall ease-of-use of Moz Local is the main selling point for me. It took us a grand total of 15 minutes to get ~50 locations set up in the platform and ready for distributing data. Then, we were able to get right to work on duplicates! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most annoying part about Moz Local is that there was an issue when we turned on the Google Sync. We were able to get the issue fixed, however, by discussing it with their support team - they even corrected the issues on the live listings for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Moz Local is good. I like the simplicity of the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to access more resources and improve my organic traffic for my clients. I wanted some academy learning, but you have to pay. SEMRush offers it for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'ver been trusting the Moz brand now for over 1 years at work. I find their products and Whiteboard Fridays with Ran to be very useful when conducting keyword research and doing local citation building. I am a current ongoing customer of Moz Local and use it to help boost citations and local listings for my clients. In the past year they recently made changes to their dashboard and how you upload your business information. The portal used to be very confusing and had minimal field to fill out and submit. What I like now about moz local is being able to track my works clients and updated local SEO score and find NAP inconsistencies across well known aggregators and other trusted listing sites. They now have better options to upload images, content and reporting tools within ML to help track their progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Yext local white label for agencies with a big budget to be much better than ML however since MOZ focuses more on SEO and is known in the industry to be a good source of content, I stick to Moz local to help boost my local citations for my clients.
