**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

Being able to watch recordings of how people scrolled through a page, where they stopped, and what they clicked on has been invaluable! No matter how much work you put into your content, if your visitors don't respond to it, it's not going to be effective. This is like being a fly on the wall.

I've used other similar analytics tools before, and it was frustrating because I had to specifically request the pages I wanted monitored. (Seems simple enough - as long as you remember to add each individual page to your account - ha!). Mouseflow analyzes all my traffic automatically.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I haven't found anything that I dislike yet!

How my website visitors move through my website, and which content is most engaging.

The recordings help me decipher when my sales copy is connecting with my readers. Heat maps help me know when there's unintentional confusion.

I have no complaints or gripes. Mousflow is great.

Mouseflow is awesome because it allows me to see how people interact with my pages both individually and group stats, so I can see trends and optimize my pages and my funnel based upon the data I've received.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I'm not sure I disklike anything about Mouseflow. It does its job well and I've even downgraded back to free for months when I didn't need it and then paid when I wanted to test a new page.

Mouseflow helps me figure out why people aren't converting as well as I want on my optin pages and has helped me get 43% optin rate on my main landing page. It's great for optimizing any funnel or website page.

The feature I don't like is that I am running out of credit for very short recordings. If the person is under 1 minute, the recording is meaningless to me.

It is a powerful tool to see how users actually use your website, as opposed to asking them.  It also allows you to gain data to know what to improve.

The formatting of the heatmap messes up how your website looks.  I wish the visual was cleaner on the heatmap view. Not a deal breaker.

I'm fairly new so can't say anything I dislike right now. Even the support was helpful when I ran into a problem with the trial ending and going to free forever plan.  The assistance stepped up to do a change internally to get it working

No sampling and the fact that I have a lot of influence on the recording rate and on which pages are captured, plus the fact that adding elements to be tracked in heatmaps makes this tool great!

It is sometimes a bit difficult to use filters to select specific recordings or segments to be shown in heatmaps.

You can segment your data based on UTM parameters by opening up our filters across our different features and selecting 'variables'. There, you'll get all UTM parameters that Mouseflow has automatically captured in the recorded sessions and the different values for them. This will make it easier to just pick the UTM value and applying the filter.

Once you have the right combo of filtering options, save it so that you can use it later ;).

Insights from looking at recordings.
It can be very useful to look at recordings and realise the customer journey has been frustrating for some reason e.g. realising people want clickable images or something like that.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I wish there was a way to amalgamate recordings into the same section/category after the recordings have taken place.  If they were categorised as recordings for two separate places, it would be good if there was a way to override this.

Knowing what it's really like for someone to visit your site.  What customers really want, what they show genuine interest in.  This helps you find ways in which you can make the customer journey more streamlined.

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

Ease of use; ability to download heatmap; great filtering tools. I also like how easy it is to pass tags from landing pages back into Mouseflow. The funnel tool is also pretty great for visualizing your flow and conversion on multiple pages

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I wish I could screen out certain traffic sources. Right now I'm optimizing google ads traffic and would like to block facebook traffic to keep my costs down. You can filter out pages and if you have a great naming convention you can solve it that way. At the moment my naming convention isn't great.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mouseflow gives me the behind the scene data on what is working on my landing pages and what isn't. I can figure out which areas of my page users are spending time on, what they're clicking on, and where they commonly drop off. Before using Mouseflow, I was just guessing.

The software is very innovative, with new features always being added. The support team is super efficient and quick to respond. I haven't used any other competitors primarily because they don't offer as many features.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

There is a lot to learn at first, and it could get confusing. There is definitely a learning curve associated with the software that some CSM's or other employees may not have time to dedicate to

Our customers aren't very transparent and we have had issues getting feedback regarding our portal - being able to view what they are doing has been very helpful when further developing our software

I like it doesn't affect my page load speed. I also enjoy how much data is collected. The data is easy to read and understand which makes decision making faster.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I don't have any dislikes yet.  I have used every tool out there, and this one is affordable and smooth.

It's much more affordable than hotjar and doesn't slow the page down like clarity.  Decisions are easy to make too.

You don't need to use a heatmap tool, session recording tool, and funnel optimization tool, for a total cost of x6 x7 times that of MouseFlow. The interface is still not beautiful but very functional.

It would be best if it also tracked exceptions in console and if it could be used for debugging and customer support on UX issues.

I would like the Dashboard to be more extensive.
I would like to be able to filter more.

I need to know what my customers see when they come to my website.
Devices display the website in different ways and browsers in different languages, it's impossible for me to know how everyone sees it without mouseflow.

For someone starting out and understanding their site visits, it helps to see everything in one place like heatmaps, clicks, page views, etc.

It's not completely free, but you get what you pay for and in a good way.

It's solving our on-page analytics and showing us where our customers are going instead of us guessing and taking a long time to figure it out on our own.

The tool provides an efficient overview of the interaction on the website. Fits very well with what I need, and customer support is always available for help.

There is not much to mention, but I must say that sometimes recordings appear broken. Besides that, so far, all is good.

It could have more options for survey controllers, like a Likert scale with 1-5 and 1-7 points, smiles and a formulary actionable lightbox. It's the only issue that research teams face using it.

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

We tested Mouseflow in scenarios where our existing web analytics solution identified weak conversion points, e.g. low completion rate of a form step or similar. By targeting these points and being able to watch session recordings products management and UX teams can create new hypotheses on *why* users drop off and what can be improved. Further, this tool proves helpful in scenarios where new projects are rolled out to a small user base: in these scenarios, it seems more useful to watch session recording of initial usage than to work with quantitative web analytics.
I especially like that the tool has many privacy features (aligning with our company's strong privacy principles) allowing us to target session recordings very narrowly and to sample traffic; and settings such as horning do-not-track (DNT). It also allows deleting recordings if they are not needed anymore (good GDPR practice).
The Video Player works very well and does not require training, so the tool can be used by product managers without additional training effort.
Lastly, the business/pricing model of the tool is very fair: some competitors do not offer sampling & targeting methods which essentially leads to a large number of sessions recorded and unreasonable high annual cost for high traffic websites.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

There is no particular point I dislike. As with any tool, there are always a couple of initial challenges when setting it up initially. So for example, we struggled a bit getting our stylesheets to load correctly in the video player.

We used it primarily to investigate low conversion points and for low traffic prototype websites. The benefits are that we are gaining additional insights that we can use for product improvement.

On a basic level, I love the heatmapping, scroll depth, funnel tools, feedback tools, and general analysis we get from adding Mouseflow to a site. The facts that it's friendly with Google Analytics and that we can build custom tags are a bonus. Tracking campaigns is SO EASY with all the data integrated! I prefer their payment model. And I can't say enough for customer support either - I've used Mouseflow for more than 7 years, and they've been consistently thorough and responsive.

It's hard to pinpoint anything. There are a couple instances of sites not rendering well, but every time something's gone wonky, the customer support team has fixed it. I have no complaints!

I've used a lot of heatmapping software, and the user experience of Mouseflow is the best.

We work with a lot of clients who have not been tracking at all on their sites. They have no idea what's happening and default to educated guesses. I did an extensive review of the most current user tracking tools by comparing various factors such as privacy and security standards, modernization of heat mapping interfaces, analytics reporting, and more. Mouseflow trumped the other companies by far, but it was the care and attention given by their support team that sealed the deal. 

Now that I am actively using the tool, I can confirm that Mousflow has done an outstanding job with their product offerings, but also with their UX. They make including and excluding tracked content easy and approachable. They present the data in a digestible way. I recommend this tool 10/10.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

My only complaints so far are that some help center articles sometimes need to be expanded upon and tutorial videos should be shareable. Help articles offer a smiley rating at the bottom, but it would be helpful to have a comment box to let users inform support staff what would be helpful to include. As for the tutorial videos, I'd like to be able to share them with my coworkers.

Lastly, it would be cool if the tutorial vids were linked in the help center articles, and if there could be more videos for more complex aspects of the product.

It's a wonderful, user-friendly app and very easy to add credits. It's easy to follow the flow of the mechanics too, such as the scroll, very useful when we create landing pages and need to know where people stop.

Mousflow has a clean Design and a nice Overview. You can create easy to use Intercepts, Heat Maps and records of your users. I often get a lot of helpful insights while using it.

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

Mouseflow stands out from other heatmapping software I have used in the past, in that once the code is added to the website, the heatmaps automatically start populating without the need for individual page/map setup. 

The privacy functionality to ensure GDPR compliance and block out user/visitor information (like on form fills) is very intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

So far, through the trial and one month of use, I do not have any complaints.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're now getting a robust set of data on our visits, friction points, and areas that seem to resonate with our site visitors, all from a central dashboard that can be easily summarized and shared with stakeholders.

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

RECORDINGS, really well polished features. Way better than HotJar
Tagging -> really easy to implement and super useful for a CRO heavy company

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

The tool is ugly -> all the effort is put towards back and features, that is ok for me but might scare other users
Survey limit -> we are already capped by credits, the cap on concurrent surveys is too much

Watch very niche very targeted recordings of users on a fast, scalable way

**What do you like best about Mouseflow?**

The easy site integration and quick response to site usage on the tool dashboard are great for getting quick data. The tagging system is something I'm liking quite a bit as well. I'm looking forward to seeing everything this platform is capable of.

**What do you dislike about Mouseflow?**

I'm relatively new to the product and am still having a little trouble intuitively using or accessing all of the user information-gathering features. I'm curious to see how customizable reporting exports will be.

**What problems is Mouseflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mouseflow saves me the time and expense of building and managing available APIs to do just some of what I'm able to do with their existing set of tools. The pricing is great and the solutions are scalable.
