Mouseflow is a tool with various features, that complement each other. It can support the life of a user researcher, if understanding what possibilites Mouseflow has. For every day User Research tasks, it can be a little bit over engineered - as a User Researcher you may need extra help, to get all the value out of Mouseflow. Since it is only one out of mny tools and methods for a researcher, it sometimes gets a little bit lost in the daily work. For some Research questions it's very helpful, for others it's not that easy to synthesize clear key insights. It is really depending on the daily research questions, some would have. They have recently added minimum recording rates to their plans. We've gone from being able to record 20% of our traffic which allowed us to capture some insight throughout the month, to being limited to a minimum of 75% of traffic which lasts a week then it stops recording until the credits refresh the following month. I like the form tracking feature and funnel feature since those are rare among user behavior tracking tools nowadays. Also, the heatmaps are showing more than competitor's do.
