What do you dislike about Motion?
I signed up for a free trial of Motion on Monday, 8/5/24, excited about potentially using the platform for my leadership team. However, after reviewing its features, I canceled the trial on Thursday, 8/8/24, when my IT team denied my request to integrate Motion with Microsoft Teams. Without this integration, the platform would not meet our needs. After canceling, I received a cancellation confirmation screen, though no email was sent to document this.
Despite my cancellation, on Monday, 8/12/24, I was charged $784.80 for a one-year subscription, including five enterprise licenses. I immediately contacted Motion’s customer support team about the error and followed up two additional times. However, I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment of my messages.
I warned Motion in writing on 8/13/24 that I would be disputing the charge if they did not resolve the situation. Yet, I have still not heard back from anyone at the company. To make matters worse, when I log back into Motion, I am unable to manage or cancel the subscription—my account reflects that I am only a user with no admin rights and no access to make any changes.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response from Motion. The combination of this unauthorized charge, the inability to manage the account, and the total silence from their customer service team is alarming. I cannot recommend Motion based on this experience, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
