"Elevated Ad Insights with Stellar AI Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love the AI features in Motion, especially the AI tagging, which sorts asset type, visual format, hook, and angle. I also love the new inspiration functionality, which allows me to save ads from other brands, track competitors, and filter for things like ad longevity. These features make Motion super valuable because they provide a clearer picture of what's working in the ad account and help make decisions on creative strategy and production faster. The customer success team was awesome at helping set us up and onboard, which made the initial setup of Motion smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Sometimes the load times can be slow, but that may just be Facebook's fault and not on the Motion side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Integration, Needs More Channels"
4/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like both the comparative and top performing custom reports. All the data and metrics are already loaded in, so I can spend more time analyzing. I'm able to pull various views and specific client requests easily and share them with the client, which means less manual work for me. The initial setup of Motion was easy and straightforward. What do you dislike about Motion?

I need Snapchat, Reddit, and Pinterest integrations with Motion. I also want the ability to load in a specific naming convention and have those added as dimensions for breaking out performance. It doesn't really help for platforms other than Meta and TikTok, and I would like to analyze the same creative cross-channel in one dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Driven Insights with User-Friendly Flexibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love that Motion is a very user-friendly platform. It takes zero experience to get in, click around, and start getting the basic reports and making sense of those. I like how customizable it is and how they're regularly shipping new features and innovating with AI. It's also super essential how they have a lot of ways for you to share links to various reports, creatives, and inspiration publicly or within your team without needing to give everyone a login. The user-friendly aspect gets me from a to b faster, much quicker than just clicking through a list of ads and ads manager. Metrics wise, Motion provides a lot more depth and more insightful data. The new features, insights, analysis, and AI tagging all just help me get smarter about my creative faster, which is super important given my tight bandwidth across different brands. I also really like Motion's new feature where you can share the AI analysis with your own AI tool, which helps me go even deeper with my AI chatbots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Everything works pretty well. Obviously, you don't get Google Ads in there, but, you know, it doesn't give you a lot of creative insights. I think there are individual things like sharing single ads that could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Motion is a GAME CHANGER"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

Motion is a GAME CHANGER. Motion has completely streamlined how we analyze and optimize creative performance by bringing all ad data into one centralized platform. Instead of jumping between multiple dashboards, we now have a single view of performance across Meta and other channels, which saves time and improves decision-making. For Meta specifically, Motion has delivered one of the biggest lifts for us because of the extensive audience testing we do. By consolidating results at the ad name level, Motion gives us a clear pulse on overall performance and helps us identify what’s working quickly. The creative type comparison feature has been a game-changer, allowing us to communicate to our creative team which formats are most efficient and pivot campaigns in real time to save dollars. Beyond that, Motion provides actionable insights that make collaboration easier, automated reporting that eliminates manual work, and even alerts for creative fatigue so we can refresh before performance drops. These capabilities have enabled us to optimize faster, allocate budgets more effectively, and ultimately improve ROI while keeping everyone aligned. We newly launched on Tik Tok this year and working with our creative team in house to help them better understand what is working and how to create a winning asset. we have been able to create dashboards and reports that are easily digestible for our creative team to understand and take action items from. Additionally, our Motion representative, Quinn, has been outstanding! Aways willing to hop on calls to create new dashboards, suggest innovative ways to interpret data, and keep us informed about new features. Quinn’s proactive support has made the platform even more valuable for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

While Motion offers strong creative analytics, there are a few areas that need improvement. One major frustration was the removal of the “winning combo” feature after we adapted our naming conventions to align with it. This change disrupted our workflow and felt disappointing. Additionally, the search functionality is limited because it is difficult to quickly find specific creative trends such as six-second videos or certain hooks when browsing competitor ads. More granular filters and trend-spotting tools would make the platform far more powerful. We have also noticed gaps in reporting with a lack of automated reporting options. It would be extremely helpful if there were a way to layer in our Adobe data that we receive on a last-click window to evaluate the behaviors of users who are purchasing directly from the ad. The interface, while functional, can be cluttered and unintuitive for power users who need deeper customization and collaboration features. Overall, Motion is valuable, but these areas leave room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Ad Insights with Creative Data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like the visualizations, like the creative ad copy layered on top of bar charts, which are great for presentations to clients. The hook and click scores are also a good way of looking at the data outside of traditional ad metrics like CTR and CPC. These scores help demonstrate how attractive the ads are in pulling users to the client's site. Additionally, the initial setup of Motion was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Sometimes it would be difficult to group various creative/audience line items. For example, if a creative had multiple audiences, those creative-audience items would all appear separate, making it look like there were multiple versions of the same creative (when in fact they are the same creative run on different audiences). If we could have a function to group the audiences together to see holistic creative performance (against other holistic creatives) that would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Video Insights and Actionable Performance Metrics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

Incredible visibility into performance of videos allowing us to see what once we need to change up the hook, see trends of what was keeping people engaged, and easily group and rank performance to edcuate us on what to iterate or create next. The easy to digest scoring buckets helps a lot! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Seeing views other people have created becomes difficult. Creating views with what you really want can get confusing because there are so many elements you can focus on and ways to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Ad Analytics and Team Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like that Motion is really easy to use and can be shared across departments. This makes it valuable because our team is constantly working on different projects, and simpler dashboards speed up our workflow. We can quickly and easily make reports to share with teams like the influencer or creative teams, and the insights are both visual and numerical, which helps us iterate without needing extra meetings. Motion's ease of use lets each team member pull the insights they need without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I think sometimes whenever we make dashboards and we haven't clicked on them for a long time, we don't go back and delete them. It would be awesome if Motion could pop up and ask if we still need them, and if we don't, it could delete or archive them. That would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Potential for Growth"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love how user-friendly Motion is. It's very easy to pick up quickly and get the info I need. Starting at my most recent company in June, I hadn't used Motion before, but now I feel like I am an expert for the most part. I use almost all its features that I know of and really value it. Pulling data and analyzing creative trends and performance on Meta and TikTok is super easy, and it makes my work much more efficient. The initial setup was very easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I wish the TikTok connection had more features that Meta does, like filtering by launch date, AI tags, AI analysis, which would be helpful for sharing data. I also wish the AI analysis could be used more as a regular chat bot, similar to what I've seen in Triple Whale's Moby. I want more rules for AI tags, to set up logic and define categories. Creating tables based on data or a workbook for documenting tests would be great for more customization and deeper analysis. People should be able to see current data without needing a Meta Ads connection, though it's not a huge inconvenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving Insightful Metrics for Visual Thinkers"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like all the options that Motion gives me as it aligns well with my visual nature. I enjoy being able to see the creative itself and line it up with the metrics rather than just having the title of a creative. This feature allows me to pinpoint certain creatives more easily and saves me time since I don't have to go through various creatives to find the one I'm looking for. This capability is very valuable to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I don't like having to create a new report every time I want to pull some data. It would be better if I could just identify what I'm looking for without having to create a report necessarily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful Analysis with Stellar CSM Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I think our CSM has been super helpful in helping us extract the most out of Motion. She's provided us with insights, market insights, and algorithm insights, especially regarding how Meta treats new creatives, which has been incredibly helpful. The customer service, particularly from our CSM, and the insights she's providing us to help navigate the platform and get the most out of it, has been actually incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I think the dashboard, especially when I'm looking at competitors, doesn't feel like the information is always accurate. It doesn't always seem to relate correctly to things like how long the ads have run for or how many ads are actually active. There's no insight into whether the ad I'm looking at was successful or not. The information it provides me is kind of limited, and sometimes I feel like it might be slightly untrustworthy. I'd like to know with more certainty if I'm actually looking at the full picture or if there's things missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
