"All-in-One Creative Dashboard with Powerful Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love the ability to see all my creative in one place whether thats splitting out by creator, campaign type, audience, creative type etc. I love the break down because I can see all my core KPI's so its easier to make adjustments in platform because I know whats working and whats not working. I also love the video insights of where people are dropping off and staying engaged. Helps me build out creative reports so my creative team can see them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Very helpful for DTC brands, but for my lead brands that I work with where they rely on data on the backend I really can only see whats taking place in platform so I can't see the full picture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The world is at your fingertips - Powerful Metrics, Intuitive Navigation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I use Motion to analyze our Meta advertising at scale by exporting the data and connecting it with our internal leads-sales-spend-profit data to identify patterns. Motion is valuable as it provides a fantastic wealth of metrics with a great breadth of characteristics that assess an ad. I appreciate using AI to further diagnose and assess individual or small suites of ads because the output makes sense and highlights details that 'fresh eyes' might notice. The interface is quite intuitive and somewhat easy to navigate and learn on one's own. Setting up Motion was super easy; my boss invited me to the platform, and after getting permissions from our Digital Performance team, I had access within minutes. What do you dislike about Motion?

There are lots of gaps in the data, probably related to ads not meeting certain thresholds of spend or impressions. It would be useful if poor performing 'smaller' ads could be rated as well. Also, it would be helpful to ask Motion about what drives success or underperformance in an adset. I also wish some of the AI-based diagnosis output was exportable. "Revolutionized Creative Reporting and Client Access"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I really appreciate how Motion enables us to work faster by allowing us to easily see how an ad is performing and what creative elements are impactful. It's made a big difference for our team by cutting down on the time spent digging through spreadsheets and helping us focus on creativity and new ideas. Our clients also love having full access to Motion, which lets them enjoy and adjust reports freely. I'm grateful that Motion offers this kind of access to creative reporting. The introduction of new AI features has made me feel like my feedback matters, and seeing them improve constantly has been impressive. Additionally, working with the Motion support team has been a dream. They listen to our feedback on features, and seeing them being implemented quickly is the best. It's awesome having such a proactive partner who continually strives to better the product for us every day. I love the Creative Insights feature that lets me dive deep into who viewed the ad and the AI Insights feature that helps dissect creative work quickly. The ability to prompt their AI is something I'm excited to use even more in the future. Overall, I'm just very impressed with how impactful Motion has been in changing the way we work for the better. What do you dislike about Motion?

Sometimes the weighted average that Motion uses is very difficult for our media or client teams to wrap their heads around. I understand why the weighted average is actually more accurate, but for clients who are looking directly in the platform, they definitely struggle with why the data doesn't one-to-one match up. I would love the ability to customize and turn off the weighted average and just have a true average. Another issue is that a lot of times, just sharing Motion links, we still have to put them into decks. I really wish there was a way to export the full card inclusive of the GIF or the image in one click versus, like, right now, I have to download the GIF, and then I have to screen record the data or copy the numbers over. I wish there was a more natural way to turn it into something ready for client decks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Platform with Great Insights, but Pricey"
4/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like how Motion is extremely intuitive and visual, which makes it easy to understand and gather insights even when I'm deep into the details. This helps us identify the best-performing creatives and understand why they're successful. The ability to pick out themes and iterate to improve and make new creative is valuable for our business. Having high-performing ad creatives is crucial, and Motion helps us identify these top performers, allowing us to make better creative decisions. Additionally, I appreciate that the initial setup of Motion was extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

There's honestly not too much, I think, pricing potentially may be a little bit high. Especially in this day and age where AI is increasingly taking over and there are more tools entering the competitive space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms Ad Insights, Yet AI Bugs Linger"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I use Motion for creative ad insights and reporting. Motion helps me cut down the time on pulling data and more on focusing on insights to improve our paid social strategy. I love using Motion to present insights to the team. The AI agents are helpful in creating new iterations of content and identifying scalable patterns, which is useful for understanding which creatives I need to scale. The initial setup of Motion was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

The agents are kind of buggy, and I believe they should be used to analyze the whole report instead of individual creatives. I would like to use Marvis more efficiently, but sometimes it doesn't work. It's unavailable right now. I want it to create new ads based on customer reviews, but I am having trouble uploading them. "Effortless to Use and Intuitive Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about Motion?

Easy to use

Easy to share creatives and reports

Connecting with Meta was really easy

I use Motion biweekly to look at performance

Gives a lot of insightful reports with metrics that platforms can't provide

Using AI to give insights on what works from creative and how to improve

My rep Josh has been very helpful and explains things on screenshare with immense detail. He sends me loop recordings on how to do things too. Always updates me on new implementations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Slow loading speeds

Filter by selecting creatives for reports like on Meta

Connect to all social platforms (Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, etc)

Competitors pull in all countries instead of just UK when searching for Brand intel

On Brand intel it would be beneficial for range of time instead of more than a month, etc.

Improve tagging (mass tagging instead of individual) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Innovative AI-Driven Analytics with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like Motion's home page creative highlights. It's super digestible to see what's working, why it's working, and what's changed. It also gives insights into what competitors are launching and how to iterate. I find it easy to understand at every level of the company and it's easily shareable. Using Motion helps me make ad performance data more understandable for creatives, share data easily, and spot performance patterns to iterate on successful ads and guide future production. The initial setup was super easy, which was great for us since we've been using it for a while and have seen its capabilities grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Some of the AI agents fail to process or complete tasks. Occasionally, the filtering doesn't work quite like it should. The platform can be slow sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Creative Reporting, Client-Approved!"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I really enjoy the ease of building reports and going back to the reports consistently, knowing the information is correct. I do enjoy how complex data is visually represented in an easy to understand way. Clients don't want to digest a lot of data and numbers, and they love the way the reporting looks. Motion does this very well, making complex data easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I haven't had any issues with Motion. There have been a few times where I was working and Motion wouldn't load, but I simply logged out and logged back in, which solved the issue. A drag and drop of the ads that I would like to show might be easier than going through and checking which ones I want to show. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Interface and Deep Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I love Motion's intuitive, clean, and highly visual interface which makes it simple to navigate and quickly get the data or insights I need. I also appreciate the high-value reporting as it provides the best view on creative performance within and across channels like Meta and LinkedIn. The platform excels in auto-tagging creatives, helping me understand what works and what doesn't, influencing our strategy across other channels, website, and product. The setup was simple thanks to hands-on assistance from the Motion team, ensuring fast time-to-value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I don't like the limited number of seats for our Motion license, which means we've had to be stingy with who has access to it and can self-serve data. If I have an enterprise license, I'd prefer my full team to access the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Speeds Up Reporting, Fantastically Organized"
5/5
What do you like best about Motion?

I like how Motion makes creative reporting faster and more digestible for our clients. Competitor reporting is super easy on the platform, and I enjoy being able to stay organized by different themes and save content across competitors. It's much less time-consuming than pulling from the ad platform libraries. I'm able to keep a pulse on what leaders in my industry are doing and use that inspiration for new ads. The agents are really helpful too! Motion is very easy to set up, it takes less than a few minutes to set up new clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I'd love to be able to write my own prompts versus rely on the default agents. The default prompts don't cover all our analysis needs, so being able to ask specific questions would make the information more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
